How do you know if a land survey has been completed?

Before carrying out a survey, it is advisable to find out if a survey has been carried out before. There are several ways to do this:

  • contacting the cadastral service with a request;
  • search on the “Public cadastral map”: the number of the plot is entered, if there is an item “Refined area”, then the survey has been carried out;
  • obtaining a cadastral extract;
  • study of the cadastral passport.

In the last two documents, when surveying is completed, it is usually indicated that the boundaries are set with an acceptable error.
