Required materials and tools:

1. Take one or more (optional) sheets of colored paper of the color you like to make flowers. Using a ruler and a simple pencil, draw stripes of arbitrary length and width on the wrong side of the sheet.
2. Cut the strips along the marked lines.
3. We create a composition according to plan.

Not much left until the New Year. In anticipation holiday, the guys and I had an idea to make an appliqué from napkins in the form elegant Christmas tree.
I am happy to share this idea with you.
so, let's begin:
For our craft, we would need:
1. Standard paper sheet.
2. Red cardboard for the star
3. Green and white regular napkins
4. Scissors
7. Gouache paints
8. Ribbons, buttons, any decorations for the Christmas tree
(I used papier-mache blanks from previous publications)
9. Skillful children's hands
Stage 1: Colorize the background with a soft blue color.
Stage 2: Cut the napkin into 4 parts
Stage 3: We crumple the napkin, as in the photo below
Stage 4: We glue these "twigs" with a sharp end to a sheet of whatman paper, starting from the bottom, in the form of a triangle.
Stage 5: We continue to form a spruce
Work is in full swing everyone is busy with their own business.
stage 6: We color papier-mâché blanks with paints. These are future Christmas decorations. At this stage, you can replace them with buttons, small toys from Kinder Surprise, cardboard toys, etc. A boundless flight of fancy.
Stage 7: We glue the "toys" to the branches of the spruce. Pre-decorate them with satin ribbon bows and paint with various patterns. We had gold threads of unknown origin, we also fitted them for crafts.
Stage 8: Add "snow" under the Christmas tree from crumpled white napkins.

7. For Santa Claus, we need red and white paper. From it we cut out palms for Santa Claus.
8. We paste the composition of Santa Claus. We start gluing from the bottom.
9. With white paper palms, we glue the edge of Santa Claus's suit. We also glue a beard out of white paper.
Goals and objectives: Making a school holiday, promoting the education of children's interest in joint activities and in the results of collective creativity, developing imagination and graphic skills in depicting elements of geometric ornament, creating a festive New Year's mood.
Material for the lesson: New Year's toys, manuals "Christmas tree branches with toys", "Ornaments", templates for a ball, bell or flashlight.
For children: a simple pencil, eraser, felt-tip pens, scissors, glue, landscape sheet.
First lesson plan:
1. The history of the appearance of balls on the Christmas tree as an element of decoration.
2. Showing the sequence of drawing up an ornament in a circle and options for placing such an ornament on a New Year's ball.
3. Showing children the layout of Christmas tree branches with toys on the Christmas tree.

Both children and adults love the New Year's merry holiday, but not everyone knows where the custom of decorating the Christmas tree with balls came from. At first, Christmas trees were decorated with apples, which were a symbol of fertility. But somehow there was a crop failure of apples, and then glassblowers made glass balls, with which they began to decorate Christmas trees ever since. But after all, beautiful toys and balls can be drawn by placing them on a Christmas tree branch, decorate them with an ornament, and then perform collective work from these branches - a New Year tree, which can be used to decorate a school holiday. You can also arrange a small New Year's competition among classes. Children like the offer to do teamwork.
I draw the attention of students to how dressed up the class is today, how diverse the Christmas tree decorations and colorful balls are.
Together with the children we are considering an exhibition of ornaments in a circle - best work last year - and remember the sequence of execution of such an ornament:
1) the entire preparatory drawing for graphic work is done in pencil; the line should be light, closed; of several incorrect lines, one correct one is left, the rest are erased with an elastic band;
2) we choose two felt-tip pens of different colors, with which we will decorate Christmas decorations;
3) you can take different shades of color of the selected felt-tip pens; we circle the entire pencil drawing with the darkest, following the balance of color, decorate balls or any other toys with an ornament;
4) to make the Christmas tree lush and elegant, we draw needles of approximately the same length so that the entire sheet is filled with an image.
I show the children the layout of the Christmas tree branches
and I propose to start working on the drawing. If necessary, I help to place the image of the branch on the landscape sheet in the most correct way. Using a template in the form of a circle (bell, flashlight), children draw a New Year's ball and begin to decorate it with an ornament, using first a pencil and then felt-tip pens.
In the second lesson, the first few people who successfully completed their task are selected into the group of main artists and, on a small piece of paper wallpaper, they attach images of Christmas tree branches with toys drawn and cut out by classmates with glue. If necessary, they provide assistance to other children.
The result of the joint activity is the creation of the collective work “Christmas Tree”. Both children and adults liked the joyful creation of children's hands, and the prizes that were awarded to the class teams at the school New Year's holiday once again emphasized the importance of fine art classes.
