Prayer time. Home prayer in shorts

“O children of Adam [and Eve]! Be beautiful by going to any of the mosques. [The whole earth is also a mosque, that is, a place where you can pray, so be as beautiful as possible always, everywhere and in everything.] Eat, drink and do not waste [eat food in moderation; do not spend money on what is useless, let alone harmful; try to stick to the "golden mean" in everything]. Indeed, He [the Lord of the worlds] does not love the wasteful. [The dislike of God can result in a person's health problems, at home, at work. People are sometimes surprised at unexpectedly emerging difficulties, although they are often themselves to blame.]

Tell me, who forbade the adornments of Allah (God, the Lord) [everything pleasing to the eye and heart, good, graceful, exquisite], which He brought out for people, and good from goods (from food) ?! Say, this [the ability to use the beauties of life in moderation and without waste] is permissible for believers [as well as for everyone else, although some unreasonably invent prohibitions for themselves] in this life, but on Judgment Day [and after it the heavenly beauty, grace ] - only for believers.

Likewise, We [says the Lord of the Worlds] clarify the signs for literate people [so that they learn lessons that will help them to become happy in both worlds].

Say: “The Lord [provided you with a temporary earthly life with an abundance of benefits in it, but] forbade (1) all that is bad (obscene acts, debauchery), both explicit and hidden [which is revealed, for example, as a result of research, expert examinations , experiments], [forbade] (2) everything sinful [which is an obvious sin for any sane] and (3) an attempt [on the honor, property, blood, life of another person or people, society; oppression, manifestation of injustice] without having the right to do so. Also [forbade] (4) all forms of paganism (worship of the earthly; deification of something other than God) and (5) saying to Allah (God, Lord) that which you [people] do not know about ”().

The Prophet Muhammad said: “Indeed, you appear before your brothers [before the people]! Let your vehicle be good (serviceable), let your clothes be good [appropriate for the place and time], so that you become an example for others (reach a level in this when you become a mole) [adornment of the society in which you live] ... Indeed, Allah (God, Lord) does not like obscenity, indecency, slovenliness. "

Answers to questions on the topic

Is it allowed to transplant your own hair from the back of the head to the rest of the head in case of baldness? I do not know if you are interested, but on one of the English-speaking Muslim sites I found the answer that it is allowed. Muslim.

It is unlikely that this action can be attributed to prohibited in Islam, especially since organ transplantation from one person to another is possible, and there is no disagreement among scientists on this score (provided that the organ transfer is free). Although my knowledge of human health is modest, I note that such an operation can be very expensive and at the same time ineffective, short-term.

What should be the shorts? Above the knees or below? What is the opinion of scientists?

Hanafi theologians say that shorts for men should be below the knee. Shafi'i theologians - up to their knees, but since they bulge when moving, it is better if they cover their knees. Therefore, covering the knees is a better solution.

I was repeatedly told that according to the Maliki madhhab, you can wear short shorts that are much higher than the knees. Is there such a provision?

Most scientists don't think so, so why do you need it?

I live in Ingushetia, and our neighbors, fellow villagers, relatives, friends travel to the sea with their families, and we ourselves were going there. The question is, can families go to the sea, where everyone can see everything at a glance? Rasul, 34 years old.

For families, going to the sea can be useful. However, it is important to observe the norms of Muslim clothing: men should wear swimming trunks from the navel to the knees, and women should wear swimwear that covers the whole body except for the face and hands. There is a huge variety of such swimwear today, any colors and models. Matching Muslim swimwear is also available for teenage children.

And you don't have to look at what is visible at a glance.

The sea and the sun are good and useful when there is such an opportunity.

Is the prayer-namaz violated if, during its performance, the man's lower back is accidentally exposed?

If the 'awrah, during the prayer, accidentally and unintentionally becomes naked (for example, due to the wind), then the prayer should immediately cover the exposed part of the body. If this happened due to the carelessness of the believer, and even more so it was repeated several times in one prayer, then the prayer is violated, becomes invalid and must be repeated.

One can, of course, assume that the part of the body that is above the navel or at its level is exposed, but it is better, in order to be sure of the usefulness of the prayer-prayer, to tuck shirts and T-shirts into trousers so that the lower back is not exposed.

Is it possible to perform namaz in the form of Manchester United, which depicts the Devil. And there are inscriptions. Or in other clothes with images of people, animals?

It is undesirable, but it is possible if there is no other clothing. As for the "image of the Devil", none of those living today knows his true appearance.

How does Islam view a man wearing earrings in his ear? Malik.

Can a Muslim's ear be pierced? Aziz, 18 years old.

It is forbidden when men try to be like women and women like men. This contradicts both religious and natural canons, which, in general, are unified and clearly interconnected.

A friend of mine asked me about men's wearing earrings. As far as I know, men cannot wear earrings not only from the point of view of Islam, but also from a cultural point of view. My friend was told that Imam Bukhari wore earrings in his nose. Is it true?

If you look at this from the point of view of our Russian mentality and modern culture, it looks defiant, and somewhere inappropriate. It is not for a believer to attract the attention of others with such a "cool" attribute. As for Imam al-Bukhari, I don’t know, I haven’t come across information about this, but if he lived in our time, he would definitely not wear earrings.

I became a Muslim, but I got tattoos before converting to Islam. “Allah” is written on the shoulder, and “Muhammad” is written on the back (may the Most High forgive me). What to do with them now? Is it possible to reduce them or will it harm the body? Ildar, 32 years old.

Getting tattoos from a point of view Islamic canons forbidden (haram). Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) mentioned those who are engaged in this craft, as well as those who make tattoos for themselves, among the damned. This action refers to "the change by a person of his present appearance, given to him by the Creator Himself." The prohibition on such actions is also stipulated in the Holy Quran.

It would be better to bring them together. But if it is difficult and there is a danger to health, then leave it as it is.

Or: "Both public and secret, hidden."

“Vitamin D was once called the“ vitamin generated by light ”. Its other, more prosaic name is calciferol, that is, it carries calcium ... Vitamin D is formed in the skin under the influence of sun rays from the precursors of vitamin D - provitamins. Provitamins, in turn, partly enter the body ready-made with food, and partly are formed in tissues from cholesterol. Vitamin D provides normal growth and the development of bones, prevents the development of rickets and osteoporosis. However, vitamin D's role is not limited to bone protection. The body's susceptibility to skin diseases, heart disease and cancer depends on it. In regions where food is poor in vitamin D, the incidence of atherosclerosis, arthritis, diabetes, especially juvenile diabetes, is increased. This vitamin prevents muscle weakness, increases immunity, is necessary for the functioning of the thyroid gland and normal blood clotting, prevents the growth of cancer cells ... Provided that the body receives a sufficient amount of ultraviolet radiation, the need for vitamin D is fully compensated. They change the creation given to them by God. "

Answer: VA alaykum assalam, dear brother Sattar
On this there is disagreement among scientists. Many scholars distinguish between the "everyday" awrah and the awrah in prayer.
IT'S UNIVERSAL that the awrah that a man should cover during prayer is the genitals and buttocks, and as for the rest of the body: thighs, navel, knees, there are disagreements about them; there are those who classify them as awrat and those who do not consider them as such.
I. The arguments of those who do not classify them as awrah:
According to Aisha:
“Once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was sitting with a bared thigh, and Abu Bakr came to him and asked permission to enter, and the prophet allowed him, being in this position himself. Then Umar asked permission to enter, who was also allowed to enter. (However,) when Uthman asked permission to enter, (the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) covered his (thigh) with clothes. When they left, I said: “O Messenger of Allah, you allowed Abu Bakr and Umar to enter, although your thigh was bare. When Uthman asked permission to enter, you covered yourself with clothes. " He said: "O Aisha, shouldn't I be ashamed of a person whom, by Allah, even angels are ashamed?" (Imam Ahmad)

2) According to Anas:
"During the Battle of Khaibar, the prophet's clothes were pulled up from his thigh so that I could see the whiteness of his thigh."(Ahmad and al-Bukhari)
Ibn Hazm said: “It is true that the thigh is not part of the awrah. If it were an awrah, then why would Allah allow His prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who was protected (from sins), to bare him so that Anas and others could see him? Allah would have protected him from this. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as a young man, before the start of the prophetic mission, as reported in two Saheehs from the words of Jabir, that he once carried stones for the Ka'aba, wearing only a loincloth, his uncle al-Abbas told him, "O nephew, why don't you untie your loincloth and put it on your shoulder as a padded lining?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did this and then fell unconscious. After that day he was never seen naked again. "

II. The arguments of those who believe that these body parts in a man are awrah:
1) Muhammad Jahsh is reported to have said:
“One day, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed by Mamar, who had bare thighs, and said to him:“ O Mamar, cover your thighs, indeed, the thighs (are part of) awrah ”. (Ahmad, al-Hakim)

2) Jurkhad is reported to have said:
“The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed me when the cloak I was wearing did not cover my thigh. (Seeing this) he said: “Cover your thighs, verily, the thigh (is part of) the awrah” (Malik, Ahmad, Abu Daud and at-Tirmidhi)

These are the arguments of each of the parties. The believer is free to choose between them, but, of course, it will be better if the person praying during prayer, as far as possible, covers what is between the navel and the knees.
And Allah knows better about it.

What is the hukm if a man's back opens during a judgment? Covering the awrah (the part of the body that must be covered) is a prerequisite for the validity of prayer. If, during prayer, one fourth of one of the organs of the awrah is opened, then the prayer is violated. A man's aurat - from the navel to the knees inclusive. In this case, the part between the navel and the pubis on all sides of the body is one of the organs of the awrat. Therefore, if one-fourth of this organ is opened from the side of the back, then the prayer is violated. This rule is indicated in the books so that we can roughly determine whether the prayer has been broken or not. And since it is not always possible to determine this, we must avoid such cases and wear such clothes in which we will perform namaz calmly and not worry that some part of the awrah may open up. Is wine allowed?

Drinking wine is a forbidden act (haram). Allah Almighty in holy Qur'an says (meaning): “O you who believe! Indeed, wine (everything intoxicating, clouding the mind), gambling, idols and fortune-telling - all this is an abomination and evil spirits from the deeds of the shaitan (which he embellishes). Beware of this, in order to find happiness in both worlds. " There are also many sayings of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in which the drinking of alcoholic beverages is clearly prohibited. ("Al-Ikhtiyar")

If a person praying after Surah "Al-Fatiha" began to read an additional Surah and, after reading two small verses, forgot the next ayat, and then after a few seconds remembered and continued the Surah, is it necessary to do Sujuda Sahvi? (Volzhsky town)

If the time for remembering the verse lasted for one rukna (time approximately equal to the pronunciation of "subhanallah"), then he will be wajib to perform sujud sahvi. If less than this, then nothing needs to be done.

Can a man wear shorts in front of his mother-in-law or in front of other female relatives if these shorts do not cover the awrah? (G. Oryol)

If the shorts do not cover the awrah, then this is prohibited. Aurat - those parts of the body that must be closed. The aurat of a man in front of men and women (except for the wife) is a part of the body from the navel to the knees inclusive. Therefore, a woman who is not the wife of this man should not look at those parts of the man's body that are included in the awrah. (Al-Ikhtiyar)

Should the deceased's nails and hair be cut? And does his hair need to be combed?

All this is not done, since it is done for decoration. And he doesn't need it. This is what the Marakil Falyakh says.

Can Muslims go to church and can they perform namaz there? (Akhtubinsk)

It is an undesirable action close to haram (makruh tahrimi) for a Muslim to enter a church, synagogue or other places of worship of non-Muslims. And since it is not allowed to go there, then it is even less allowed to perform namaz there. (Ibn Abidin)

I heard that the mosque should always be open and that the doors of the mosque should not be locked. Is it so?

Locking the door of the mosque for no reason is an undesirable action (karahat). However, if there is a reason, then it is allowed. The reason why nowadays mosques are closed at night is the fear for the property of the mosque. Since we have heard more than once how donations and the like are stolen in some mosques, this reason forces to close the doors of the mosque with a lock. As for the time when namaz is performed, you cannot close the doors of the mosque. (Ibn Abidin)

If I came to the mosque and, seeing that they were already performing farz-namaz, joined the namaz when the imam was bowing to the ground, did I have time for this rak'ah?

No, we didn't have time. The one who makes a hand "(bow in the bow) with the imam is in time for the rak'ah. If the praying person entered the prayer for the imam and bent down for a hand" after the imam had already risen from his hand, "then he did not have time for this rak'ah. as the imam gives salaam in both directions, the latecomer should get up and supplement this rak'ah. Is it possible to charge a fee for washing the deceased and digging a grave? (Astrakhan region)

It would be best to wash the deceased and dig the grave for free. However, the one who washes or digs is allowed to take a fee if there is someone else who can do it. If he is the only one who can wash the deceased or dig a grave, then you cannot take payment, because in this case this duty is determined on him. In other words, it becomes obligatory for him, and he can no longer demand payment for what he is already obliged to do. (Ad-durrul Mukhtar)

Muslim leaving home mainly with intention in the name of Allahto work, if he is overtaken by death, does he get a martyr's degree? (Dagestan, Tabasaran district)

Whoever will work for his family, fulfilling the command of Allah  in relation to his relatives and providing them with legal food, Allah ﷻ will make him from among the martyrs in their degree on the Day of Judgment. (Raddul Mukhtar)

Can you sleep with your feet towards the Kaaba?

It is makrooh (condemned) to deliberately stretch the legs towards the Kaaba, whether during sleep or at other times. At the same time, some scholars said that they mean makrooh, which is close to what is permitted (halal). This means that a person does not commit a sin by this action, but this action is not approved. Others have expressed an opinion indicating that they mean makrooh, which is close to the forbidden (haram). That is, it will be a sinful act. (Raddul Mukhtar)

I remember when I was a teenager, we went to the cemetery with adults and threw a handful of earth. Is that how you should do it?

This is done when a person is buried. It is advisable to sprinkle three handfuls from the side of the head. This is what was transmitted from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. ("Maraquil fellah")

As-salamu alaikum! Is it possible to feed people who are in the cemetery and are digging a grave for the deceased?

Hello! Can only be fed outside the graveyard. In the cemetery, it is blameworthy to do something outside.

Is it true that after the obligatory prayers (fardovs), one must first read the azkars, and then the additional prayers (sunnah)?

According to the Hanafi madhhab, it is Sunnah after performing obligatory prayer say the following prayer: "Allahumma anta s-Salamu wa minka ssalamu tabarakta ya zal-jalali wal ikram" - or another of similar size, as reported by Imam Muslim and at-Tirmidhi. After that, additional prayers are immediately performed. As for those hadiths that speak of azkars after namaz, there is no indication that these azkars should be read before additional namaz (sunnah). On the contrary, these hadiths indicate the need to recite these azkars after the Sunnat prayers, because additional Sunnat prayers are associated with the obligatory prayers (fard), follow them and improve them, which means they are not something separate from the obligatory prayers. Therefore, what will be done after additional prayers will be considered completed after the obligatory ones. Therefore, after performing the obligatory prayer, one should immediately read additional prayers (sunnah), and then the azkars, which are constant in mosques (reading the ayat "al-Kursi", the words "subhanallah", "alhamdulillah" and "Allahu akbar" 33 times and etc.). (Ibn Abidin, "Marakil fellah")

Question: What clothes should you wear in prayer? Is it possible to do namaz in home pajamas?

Answer: To stand in prayer in work clothes, in clothes in which it is a shame to appear in front of important people, in clothes and socks with a bad smell will be makrooh. If there is no other clothing, then it is not makrooh. If you have money, you need to buy clothes for this.

Anyone who is going to appear in front of important people should wear nice and clean clothes. And the one who stands before Allah should also pay attention to this, you cannot perform namaz in clothes in which it is a shame to appear in front of big people! The 31st verse of Surah Araf says: "Wear your finest jewelry when you go to the temple."

One of the hadithi sharifs says:

“When going to prayer, wear your best clothes. Allahu taal is more worthy of adornments and outfits than others. " (Bayhaki)

It is not forbidden (not makrooh) to read namaz at home in clean house clothes or in loose pajamas or night clothes. But you can't appear in your pajamas in a mosque! It is also wrong to sit in your pajamas in front of strangers. You can not do things that contradict and insult our traditions!

Question: How does prayer affect namaz if you do namaz in clothes with pictures or inscriptions?

Answer: If pictures and inscriptions are visible it will be makrooh. If closed it won't be makrooh.

Question: The trousers I just bought have very long, not yet hemmed legs. Is it possible to recite namaz with the legs turned up?

Answer: If long trousers cover the legs, then this does not harm the prayer. If tucked high so that the shins are visible, it will be makrooh.

Question: Isn't it forbidden for men to wear tight tight trousers, to read in such namaz?

Answer: Men are not allowed to wear very tight, tight-fitting trousers. In trousers that fit shameless places, in very tight trousers, it will be makrooh to read namaz. Wearing such trousers in public is not in accordance with the dress code of our religions.

Question: Can I take off the ironed trousers during the prayer so that they do not wear out and put on other comfortable trousers, and after the prayer, put them on again. Would it be right if I do this so that they do not wrinkle and for the neat preservation of expensive trousers?

Answer: Of course, the clothes with such use will be neat, but you should be equally scrupulous about your prayer. The Qur'an commands us to stand in namaz in good clothes. To appear before a famous and important person, a person must wear beautiful and clean clothes. And when you are going to stand before Allah, this is also worth turning Special attention! It is necessary to comply with the verse: "When getting up to all prayers, wear nice, clean, pleasant clothes" and hadith where it says: "A pleasant scent reduces bitterness; clean clothing reduces hardship." and correspond to this, trying to wear even if old but clean clothes! You can read namaz in wide pajamas, it's not makrooh.

Question: Is a lab coat considered workwear? Is it possible to do namaz in such clothes?

Answer: Dirty, oiled clothing is considered to be work clothing. If the laboratory clothes are clean and tidy, then there is no harm to prayer. It will be even better.

Question: Is it possible to look at the shameful places of a person performing namaz in trousers?

Answer: It will be haraam.

Question: Should the jacket buttons be buttoned in namaz?

Answer: Not necessary. Buttoned up is a matter of decency, and it’s better that way.

Question: Is it possible to stand up for namaz with the buttons not buttoned on the sleeve of the shirt?

Answer: Doesn't harm.

CROCODILE IMAGE

Answer: If the image of a living creature is small that an adult standing on his feet cannot distinguish its organs, then prayer in such clothes will not be makrooh. (S. Abadiya)

IN MAZKHAB SHAFII CLOTHES WITH A DRAWING

Question: Is it allowed in the Shafi'i madhhab to recite namaz with the image of a living being? Does makrooh prayer make a drawing on the wall?

Answer: Just like in Hanafi, in Shafi'i, a prayer with the image of a living being in prayer makes namaz makruh.

In Shafi'i, no matter where in the room there is a drawing with a living creature, if it does not distract from namaz, doesn’t do namaz makruh. (Islam Ahlaki)

In order for a person's prayer to be considered valid, the Shariah established certain conditions that must be observed during the performance of prayer. Without this, not a single prayer is accepted from a person. One of these conditions is the closure of the Avrat. For a person who performs a mandatory or desirable prayer, Avrat should be closed.

For men, the abut during prayer is the place between the navel and the knees. For women, the whole body is the awrath, with the exception of the face and hands. Therefore, a person who performs namaz should cover these parts of the body with non-transparent, clean clothes, on which there are no impurities whatsoever.

It should be noted that a person's Avrat outside of prayer differs depending on the people who can see him. But the Avrat of a person performing namaz is established by the Sharia, regardless of whether someone sees him or not.

If the Avrat of a person performing namaz is closed according to the above conditions, it does not matter whether the person is dressed in a tracksuit or other clothing during the prayer. This does not in any way affect the validity of the prayer. However, if the tracksuit or other clothing is tight, tight-fitting, tight-fitting to the body in such a way that it emphasizes the shape of the body, then it is undesirable to perform namaz in such clothes.

An exception is the case when a person is present when performing namaz, who is not allowed to show the Avrat. In this case, it is not allowed to perform namaz in tight-fitting clothes, especially for female representatives. In any case, even if there are other men / women in the room, the woman / man's prayer in this form will be valid, but for the fact that he / she did not properly close the awrat, he / she will be written a sin.

If the prayer in this form (in tight clothes) is performed alone or in the presence of those people from whom it is not necessary to cover the Avrat, the prayer is considered valid, and there is no sin in this.

In the book " Fatah al-muin"The following is written about this:" For a person who performs prayer, it is enough to cover the awrat with clothes that emphasize the shape of his body, but prayer in such clothes is inappropriate for him.».

And in the book “ Ianat at-talibin"To this is added:" It is enough (during prayer to cover) the body with tight clothes, under which people can distinguish body parts, for example, narrow pants, but this is unsuitable for a man, and undesirable for a woman and hunsa (hermaphrodite)».

Although prayer in tight-fitting clothing is valid, for the necessary awrat is covered, nevertheless, performing prayer in tight-fitting clothing, as noted above, is undesirable. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in his hadiths condemns the wearing of clothing that fits the body tightly, and described people wearing such clothing as naked.

It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

صنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس ونساء كاسيات عاريات مميلات مائلات رءوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة لا يدخلن الجنة ولا يجدن ريحها وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة كذا وكذا

« Two kinds of people from among the future inhabitants of hell that I have not seen are people who will have whips, resembling cow's tails, with which they beat people; Others are women dressed, but at the same time naked, who lean to the side and urge others to do so, and in the shape of their heads are like swaying camel humps. They will not enter Paradise or even feel its fragrance, despite the fact that the fragrance of Paradise is felt from a great distance. "(Muslim).

This hadith speaks of women who will be dressed but naked.
