Dragon Age Origins cheat codes. Dragon Age Origins Cheat Codes Dragon Age Started Sword Starfang

Codes for Dragon age Origins plays an important role as they provide the user with almost limitless possibilities. True, not everyone knows how to use them and what functional character sets are in general for obtaining a positive effect. We will try to understand the situation, provide instructions on how to create a platform for using codes, and highlight the most useful options.

How to use codes in the game?

How to Enter Dragon Codes Age origins? To do this, you will need to perform a number of mandatory actions:

  • First, we install the game itself.
  • Then go to the following address: My Documents / BioWare / Dragon Age.
  • Open the Setting file with notepad.
  • We are looking for the following information: OpenConsole_0 = Keyboard :: Button_X.
  • Instead of X, we indicate any key you like (we recommend using U).
  • Now go to the game folder and create a shortcut for Daorigins.exe.
  • Click on the created file with the right mouse button and rename it. Leave the original name unchanged and add -enabledeveloperconsole after a space.
  • We start the game using this file and safely use the new console using the U key (or any other button that you specified together with X) and enter the code. After that, all that remains is to press Enter.

Carefully follow all the recommendations presented, and then everything will work out. Try to take your time, the ability to use codes in general depends on this.

Changing the class and appearance

After the basis for the codes is created, it remains to consider the available Dragon Age Origins cheat codes. And first of all, let's analyze the ability to change the appearance and class of a character:

Code Available function
chargen 1 Opens the pumping screen and allows you to change the characteristics at will
wizard N Creates a first-class mage
rogue N Grants access to the Rogue
appearance N Will open access to tools for changing the character's appearance
wizardx N Access to a powerful sorcerer
roguex N Creates a tracker
shale N Re-qualifies the main character as Sheila
chargen 0 Provides the ability to transfer your hero to a new scenario or the beginning of the game
warrior N Regulates the set of abilities and makes a warrior out of the character
dogx N Transforms the character into Mabari the dog
warriorx N Changes the character to a universal warrior

Use these opportunities carefully so as not to imbalance the game and not to lose the main character. Better to practice with codes on your other characters.

Manipulation with experience and parameters

Now let's take a look at the available stat codes in Dragon Age Origins. They look like this:

Code Available function
addxp N Allows you to get any amount of experience
levelparty N Gives the maximum level
removetalent N Activates any skill regardless of the character
zz_add_skills3 Gives 3 points for pumping
dbg_setattrib X N Temporarily increases any parameter of the hero to the maximum

zz_supercrit Adds 1000 Health and Stamina

Thanks to these cheats, you can easily manipulate the parameters of the heroes and adjust them to your personal needs. It is worth remembering that such a process disturbs the balance of the gameplay.

We increase capital and open a card

Dragon Age Origins cheats are similarly capable of adding to your capital stock. To do this, it will be enough to use the following options:

Thanks to these codes, you will be able to provide yourself with a favorable gameplay and significantly increase your initial capital. It remains only to think over their correct use and use the available options for your pleasure.

Saving the lives of heroes

We could not overlook the Dragon Age Origins codes, which are designed to manipulate the state and health of the heroes. These cheats look like this:

Despite the small collection of these codes, they can save you in a difficult situation. In addition, they will serve as an excellent basis for testing opportunities and studying enemies.

We destroy enemies

Do not forget about the Dragon Age Origins codes, which will allow you to get rid of your opponent or gain an advantage over him. The options are quite standard:

Codes for the "Awakening" expansion

The last point of our review will be the Dragon Age Origins: Awakening codes. There are not so many of them, but they provide a favorable gameplay and can only be used within the framework of this DLC:

Code Available function
runscript addxp x Provides development points
runscript zz_money2 x Provides characters with 10,000 silver
runscript pc_immortal Makes the hero unstoppable and invincible
runscript zz_gxa_addapproval 1 x Gives the required number of location points

runscript ai on Activates AI
runscript chargen Makes available the character creation window for changing appearance
runscript killallhostiles Destroys all enemies at once
runscript healplayer Refills all indicators: health, mana and stamina

You now have the cheat information for the biggest expansion in the game. It remains only to carefully study them - and you can use the available options.

Thanks to the codes, you will provide yourself with a "safety cushion" during the passage. It will be enough to carefully study all the available directions, try to use the advantage and simply achieve a good result.

The choice of weapons and items in the game is very large, despite the absence of the usual crafting system. It is being successfully replaced by ready-made sets of armor and piece pieces of weapons. Among ordinary things, sometimes there are unique ones, which most often have increased characteristics. Separate pages in the Codex with stories of their origin are dedicated to unique things. Weapons and armor are sold by merchants in various parts of the world - Denerim, Orzammar, Lake Calenhad and Breciliana. The cost of things varies depending on the value. The most valuable pieces can cost several dozen gold coins, but all the costs are repaid with interest. High-quality weapons with special effects allow you to resist strong opponents.

Weapons can be stored in the chest at Soldier's Peak after installing and completing the Guardian Fortress add-on. Over time, an understanding comes which weapon deserves attention, and which is just ordinary rubbish that can be used for the time being, for lack of a better one. Each character in the squad is allowed to have two sets of weapons - main and spare. The set is selected by pressing the [/] key.

Achtung! Attention! Uwaga!
I want to warn everyone that the characteristics of armor, weapons and other things do not depend on the time they are found. But powerful things come across, of course, towards the end of the game.

Hello everybody. Once again I was convinced that a game without bugs is like Marx without Engels or Leshchenko without Vinokur.
The bugs, of course, are not fatal, but they can spoil the mood for a long time. Someone has a thief, with full pumping, stops detecting traps, someone else has something else. Personally, when I tried to transfer all things from "Inception" to "Awakening", slots for runes disappeared in my armor. Because of this, I even had to completely demolish the game and reinstall it again. Another, rather pleasant, bug happened in the mine, when after anesthesia only the things worn on the characters disappeared, while the inventory remained untouched. True, I never found my own things - only the things of my companions. Therefore, by loading the save in front of the mine and putting the GG's armor into my inventory in advance, I restored the Status Quo in the cell.
Maybe someone will find this information useful. Therefore, I am posting the article I took here:
http://www.gamer.ru/games/894-dragon-age-nachalo/posts/41814

FAQ on the bugs of the add-on "Awakening" (Game world, Tips, Walkthrough)
Since the developers are in no hurry to please the audience with a patch that would patch the numerous holes in the addon, we decided to collect the most serious bugs that can prevent you from completing the addon and tell you how you can avoid their appearance if there is such a method (dancing with a tambourine is not provided) ...
This material does not pretend to be binding on the recommendations given, I wrote it to make life easier for those who have not yet played Awakening or just started, in order to save them from their mistakes. If you are lucky and you will not come across a single described bug, I will be infinitely happy for you =).
And I will be even more happy if the studio finally stops posting news about souvenir swords for opening letters, and puts out a patch that will fix all the outrages described below.
General recommendations for using the add-on:
First and most importantly: I advise you to turn it off before starting DLC games“Guardian Fortress”, if you have it installed. Since, despite the promises, the skills are transferred from it, but do not work, and to be honest, the skill branch that is given there, in my subjective opinion, is not worth fussing with installing fan mods that can ruin something else. Things from it without mods are also not transferred. Plus there is a glitch with textures, when with the "Guardian Fortress" enabled, the "Vigilance" sword from the addon looks like "Starfang" from the content. I also advise you to disable fan mods that have not been updated for the release of the addon - they provoke bugs.
Second and no less important from the point of view of direct passage: conduct the Initiation on time, as soon as you find the next recruit - initiate. And go through the quest "Shadows of the Black Marshes" if possible one of the last. Otherwise, you risk losing the opportunity to complete some quests related to party members.
Third: save yourself. Save and save again, do not be satisfied with only autosaves and the F5 button, it is better to save every five minutes than to make up for lost five hours later.
Fourth: take your time to install patch 1.03 before installing the addon. It can provoke some glitches. And no one forbids installing it on top of the add-on if necessary)).

So, let's go through the creation of the Bioware studio with a red pencil, so that the descendants can maneuver between quests, without complicating the game with the impossibility of completing them:

1) Thefts and crashes.
There is information that when patch 1.03 is installed, problems with thefts begin and the game starts to crash frequently. Those who have encountered such a problem (or do not want to face it) are advised not to install this patch on the original version of the game yet (if you already have everything installed, you need to reinstall the game, patch to version 1.02 a and install the addon), since during installation add-on, all the necessary changes are made to the code for the add-on to work.

2) Quest "Righteous Path", Architect's Laboratory:
Certain conditions can cause the main character's equipment to disappear after being put to sleep by the Architect.
This can happen if the Experimental Object on which your equipment will be equipped does not meet the requirements for your equipment.
You will know that this glitch has occurred because the Guardian wakes up in a dungeon wearing only his underwear, unlike the party members who are dressed in regular villagers' outfits and if you still have your unused equipment with you.
It is solved by rebooting at the moment before sleep and removing your gear.
PS: the inventory on waking up must be empty - you were cleaned to the skin after all))

3) Quest "Righteous Path":
Attempting to complete the quest without Velanna as part of a group can lead to the collapse of the main storyline, and manifested by the following tricks: the player will not be able to leave the Mines; the player can wake up again in the dungeon, but without a key, and so on.
It is solved naturally by taking Velanna to the group.

4) Quest "Dedication of Velanna".
If you take Velanna to the Gray Wardens, you should carry out her Consecration before you find yourself in the Black Marshes location. There is a possibility that after completing the quest in this location, you will no longer be able to carry out the Consecration. Accordingly, Velanna will not be able to join the order if Forest Vending is completed by the last of the storyline quests. In the dialogue with the seneschal, the option necessary for Initiation simply does not appear.

5) Quest "Thieves' past Sigrun".
If you start the "Law and Order" quest before meeting Sigrun, you may not be able to start her personal quest, since the dwarf who initiates it will disappear from Amaranthine. The same effect is possible if you give Sigrun something before meeting Mischa.
Solution: Do not speak to the Dark Personality or Constable Aidan in Amaranthine until you have completed story quest in Cal Hirol. After successfully completing it, recruit Sigrun to your squad and go to Amaranthine. After passing the gates of the city, turn right and go to the city church, there you will encounter a gnome and the Sigrun quest will be safely started. After that, you can safely take the quests "Law and Order" or "The Smuggling Route".

6) Quest "Dedication of Sigrun".
As with Velanna, you may not be able to complete the Ascension of Sigrun if you recruit her after completing the Black Marshes.
Solution: Try to carry out the Consecration without completing Kal Hirol to the end and without completing the quest "The Last of the Legion" (go through the Trade District to the Thicket Hills and run to the Vigil Tower).

7) Quest "Heart of the Forest".
If you bring Wade the ancestor heartwood (the core of Ancient Sylvanas or heartwood in the English version) before full passage forest Vending, you may lose the opportunity to get a bow or shield from him, since he will not talk to you about them, although the quest marker will remain over his head.

8) Quests "Law and Order" and "Smuggling Route".
If you take on both quests, you will not be able to complete them. Moreover, if you talk to the Dark Personality, and then refuse to work for him, the city guards will still treat you negatively and say that you have been bribed. Therefore, carefully select options in dialogs and save before conversations.
Solution: think carefully about which side you want to take the quest for. If you play as the smugglers, you can get into the guardhouse on the roof of the Crown and Lion tavern and you can find an elf there who can be persuaded to help in the defense of the Vigil tower.
If you choose the side of the city guard, you will be rewarded with unique items that you can find during the quest: Weasel's gloves, Agile's boots, Loremaster's mantle (knocked out randomly from mercenary thugs) and Villain's Vestments (can be knocked out from the leader of the smugglers, also a rose thorn dagger and dragon skin gloves fall from it, but the armor is the most decent for robbers, and is quite expensive).
Thanks to warfalamey for reminding us about this bug.

9) Glitches of your diary and statistics.
When you transfer your character from the original campaign, you may lose some of the codex records and the counter of the most powerful killed enemies (the counter itself will remain, only a void will be displayed there).
Solution: ignore it. Alas, this is the only option so far.

10) Trap detection.
Your character may lose the ability to detect traps (regardless of the level of cunning and the "Learning Traps" skill). They can be seen by Nathaniel and Sigrun, so either swing the traps for Nathaniel from the very meeting, or swing this skill Sigrun, but do not forget that at first she has a very low level of cunning (you can take the Focus textbook to Cal Hirol and transfer it to fit your needs, because in this location there are a lot of traps and without detecting them, you will firstly lose experience from neutralization, and secondly, you can suffer a lot from the "creatures of the dwarven mind").
The ability to disarm traps works as before.

11) Numerous shoals with a "reputation".
The most common and bizarre addon bug is getting one hundred percent positive relationships with fellow party members. Do not rejoice, because besides a number, this bug does not add anything - neither inspiration and an increase in characteristics, nor "the level of relations" (that is, despite the mark of 100 points, the character will continue to treat you neutrally). And besides this, this bug can interfere with the passage of the game (because it is quite difficult to reduce the ratio by 100 points) and it is possible to influence the epilogues.
I advise you not to give anything to party members until you have received at least one point of approval or dissatisfaction on their part. This will avoid most of the "leaps in reputation" when giving gifts.
There is also another feature: the game "does not catch up" that you have changed the composition of the group, for example, before entering the church and the party members who are no longer behind you continue to express their approval / dissatisfaction with your actions (of course, the dialogue will not work, but the pop-up lines with an influence point at the moment will show you that Ogren, who was supposed to return to the tower, approves of scattering scabies on the bed of the local spiritual leader).
Therefore, if you are going to hand over quests that can upset your party members, pick up a group before leaving the location (unless, of course, you are eager to spit with them). It is best to change the lineup at the Vigil Tower or before leaving Amaranthine.

12) Shmot:
In addition to the aforementioned glitch with the textures of swords, the addon has some oddities with loot (things obtained from mobs). For example, you can find the sword of Ser Alvard (be it wrong) in the Avvarr crypt under the Tower of the Vigil. But for the quest "The Lost Sword of Sulfur Alvard" you will need exactly the blade found in the Black Marshes. There are several important things that are the basis of the sets (for example, the Vest of the Agile and the Mantle of the Keeper of Knowledge), but it is almost impossible to find them and it remains only to methodically reboot in the places of intended issuance in order to knock the desired rag from the harmful enemy.
Some things you can get only if you choose a certain line of passage - this is not a bug, but a reward (or punishment) for your choice.
But, some things in the addon are missing, although they should be. In particular, Blackblade's boots and gloves. A fan fix has already been released for them, if you really want to dress the character in a black suit - try DAOnexusBlackbladeFix. To use this fix you need a console, and although I am not a supporter of mods, the console in this game is sometimes a vital thing, so below, just in case, I give instructions on how to use it.

1. Open the game folder, open the bin_ship folder in it. The path to it looks something like this: "disk name / Dragon Age / bin_ship".
2. Find the daorigins.exe file and create a shortcut for it.
3. Click on the shortcut with the right mouse button, select the "Properties" line.
4. select the "Shortcut" tab and in the "Object" line add a space to the specified path to the file (a space is required) after it, type -enabledeveloperconsole.
It should look like this:

5. After that, go to the My Documents / Bioware / Dragon Age / Settings folder and open the KeyBindings.ini file with notepad (it is better to save the original file somewhere else) and find the line in it:
OpenConsole_0 =
and add the following after the "=" sign:
Keyboard :: Button_Tilde
As a result, the line will look like this:
OpenConsole_0 = Keyboard :: Button_Tilde
Save the file.
Instead of Tilde (tilde, that is, the letter "E" on the keyboard), in principle, you can write any other key that is not involved in the gameplay (for example, Z). But for me, for example, it is easier with her, because she does not come to hand when not necessary.
Now, to use the console, you need to launch the game through the shortcut to which you changed the parameter. In the game, press the key you specified (if all the others stop working, then the console is open), press the Backspace key, type the desired code and press Enter. Please note that in most cases the console is not visible and you have to type blindly.
If you find another bug in the game that is not described here - write, we will figure out what to do with it and how to get around it.
Clarification: all of the above are bugs that appear on the licensed version of the game, with bugs appearing on pirates, contact the repack authors, because only they know where they messed up.

Dragon Age: Origins Meteorite Ore is an excellent crafting material. You can find it only after installing the downloadable add-on "Guardian Fortress". During the transition on the global map, most often after passing the Soldier's Peak, there will be a chance meeting with a blacksmith and his wife Martha, who will find a crater with a fallen meteorite. Inside is a cluster of meteorite ore. Taking a piece, you can later make a weapon from it. Mikael Dryden, a blacksmith from Soldier's Peak and brother of Levi Dryden, will offer his services, explaining that the ore found is star metal. There are two swords to choose from - long or large. Having finally decided on the choice, a sword called "Starfang" will appear in the inventory.

Starfang Meteorite Ore stats in Dragon Age: Origins:

  • Starfang Longsword: strength: 31; damage: 11.90; +3 agility, +3 damage, +2.5 armor penetration, 3 rune slots.
  • Starfang Greatsword: strength: 38; damage: 18.70; +3 to strength, +2.5 to armor penetration, +8 to attack, 3 cells for runes.

You will receive this task, provided that you have installed the "Guardian Fortress" add-on. When you install this add-on, then soon a character named Levi Dryden appears in your camp. He asks you to go with him in search of the legendary fortress of the Gray Wardens, in which his probabot Sophia fought for a long time. Sofia was the Guardian-Commander of Ferelden at the time. You need to find proof that she was a hero and restore the long-lost name of the Drydens.

A location called Soldier's Peak will soon appear on your map. In the courtyard of this fortress, you can see a vision of the past - these visions will haunt you throughout the entire exploration of this fortress and give you a clear picture of what happened in the last days of the defense of the fortress. Soon, the lying corpses in the yard will come to life and start attacking you. From the body of an elite commander, you can take a very good crossbow.

Go to the fortress. Clear the first and second floor. Along the way, you will learn a lot from the history of this fortress. Here you can collect various records and books. In a huge hall on the first floor, you will see the last battle with the participation of Sofia, after which a demon of rage will sharply attack you. Please note that he will heal himself as long as there are corpses of the guards next to him, so it is best to first deal with the Guardians, and then with the demon himself.

The exit from the second floor is temporarily locked for you, so go to Sofia's room and talk to what is left of her. Here you have to make your choice. If you refuse, then you will have to fight with her, if not, then go through the previously locked doors, and then across the bridge. Be careful - there are traps here. Through the bridge you will find yourself in the tower of a magician named Avernus. If you do not kill Sophia, then you need to kill Avernus, if you kill her, then together with Avernus you will have to patch up the holes in the Veil. Regardless of which side you choose, you still have to block the path of the demons. At the end of the ritual, you will have to fight the Demon of Desire.

After you close the Shroud, you can either kill your ally or let go. If you leave them alive, then you will not hear anything about them anymore, except for Avernus - Levi will tell you that he will not climb out of his tower. Also, if you leave an ally alive, then you will not receive a set of armor of the Commander of the Shooting - this is Sofia, and you will not receive a mantle from Avernus.

In the end, Levy will talk to you and your assignment will be completed. Of course, the Drydens' good name could not be restored in any way, but for that they can use the fortress as their base. Also, in Soldier's Peak you will be given a chest in which you can store your things, besides that, you will have a merchant - Levi and his brother the blacksmith. The blacksmith will be able to forge you an excellent weapon, or rather the Starfang sword, but on condition that you find a meteorite during one of the random encounters, but this of course does not happen every time. And by the way, at the entrance to the hall of Avernus, you can find a bottle that gives the skills of Blood Magic. When you drink the contents, you will receive two additional skills - which skills, depends only on the class of your character.

Ancient history

You need to find four sources of information that are hidden in the fortress, and then find the treasure. This quest is activated after you find any source of information:

- a statue located in the western part of the courtyard.

- a book, which is located in the archive of the fortress, on the first floor.

- a jar of raspberry jam, which is located on the second floor of the fortress.

- a corpse that is on the wall in the tower of Avernus.

We recommend that you activate the statue first. When you finish the task Soldier's Peak, then you will not be able to return back to this fortress, just wander around, so you will not get the treasure. When you find all the information, then move to the second floor and find the largest picture that should be above the fireplace. There you need to repeat the oath of the Gray Wardens and soon a chest will come out of the wall, in which there are very good things. Here it is worth noting the sword of Asturian - a one-handed weapon that has one slot and the ability to weaken the fiend.

This completes the passage of this DLC.
