What suras of the Koran are read on the wires of the bride. So that prayer helps the suras of the Koran. The meaning and origin of the word "sura"

Surah for Depression

From time to time, a believer, despite fulfilling obligations to the Almighty and regularly inspecting intentions and guidelines, may fall into a state in which his faith weakens, diligence in practice decreases, doubts and pessimistic thoughts appear.

Such experiences are similar to depressive ones, which are characterized by a negative assessment of oneself, others and the world as a whole. as it says in the Quran: “You (oh people) will certainly pass from one state to another” (Sura “al Inshiqaq”, “It will open”, ayat 19).

In such a situation, various means of support, including the support of fellow believers, can be useful. But one should also not lose sight of what has been sent down in Scripture as a healing and good reminder for believers. These are not only individual verses, but also entire suras. One of the most "supportive" among them - surah "ad-Duha", "Morning".

Surah "Hell of the Spirit" was sent down to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) during a rather painful period of his prophethood. Revelations stopped, he did not receive them even in a dream. Jibril stopped coming to him. The unbelievers began to laugh at him, saying that the Lord had abandoned Muhammad, that He hated him.

The leaders and their followers laughed at him, and the Prophet himself, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, worried that he could cause displeasure of the Almighty. In this difficult hour, after a break of six months, this sura was sent down - as support, reminder and edification to him and his followers.

As the Ulama say, this surah was sent down to bring the Prophet out of hard feelings, despondency and doubts to hope, renewal of faith and confidence that the Almighty did not leave him. And just as she inspired the Chosen One, she can become an assistant and a good reminder of the care of the Creator for other believers. So, what does Surah “Hell of the Spirit” say? Here are these verses with some comments.

* I swear in the morning!

Light is an important reminder for a person who is in a state of depression. This is a symbol of restoration of strength, victory over darkness and a reminder that not everything in the world is so bad, a reminder of hope, new joys and a successful outcome.

* I swear at night, when she calms down (covers with darkness)!

Experiences deprive a person of sleep, he can sleep during the day and stay awake at night, chewing on the same pessimistic thoughts. Night is a symbol of calm, rest. This is a reminder that the soul, body, thoughts also need rest in order to gain new strength, to master what they have received during the day. It is important to use this time for its intended purpose - for sleep and rest, in order to reduce the level of anxiety and anxiety.

* Your Lord has not abandoned you and hated you.

If something unpleasant happens in our life, some difficulties happen, a decline in activity, worship, doubts appear or emotional experiences are tormented, this does not mean that the Almighty thereby shows hatred for His slave. Sometimes, on the contrary, it is difficulties that are a sign of the love of the Almighty.

* Verily, the future is better for you than the present.

Every hardship is followed by relief. Any difficulties over time are replaced by new joys, peace and consolation. This means that no matter how difficult the hour is, it will not last forever in this world, and by the grace of the Almighty, patience and wisdom will be rewarded in the future.

* Your Lord will certainly grant you, and you will be satisfied.

As it is said in the hadith, whatever befalls a Muslim, whether it be a prick of a thorn or something more than this from what is unpleasant for him, for this he will be forgiven of sin and he will be blessed in the future. The message of future reward soothes the pain of the present

* Didn't He find you an orphan and give you shelter?

* He found you astray and led you to the straight path.

* He found you poor and made you rich.

Difficulties focus our attention on the unpleasant aspects of our lives. But it is important not to forget about the good that is in it. The memory of the blessings bestowed from above (whether it be guidance on a straight path, prosperity, loved ones, family and other pleasant components of earthly existence) serves to calm the heart and enlighten one's thoughts.

* Therefore, do not oppress the orphan!

* And do not drive the one who asks!

Showing mercy to those who are in a similar condition gives us the feeling that we are helping ourselves. Some psychologists advise in a state of depression not only to take care of yourself, but also to do good deeds towards others.

Helping others heals our own wounds. And if this is help to the needy and orphans, who outwardly are a reflection of our inner state (a feeling of abandonment, uselessness, need for outside support, exhaustion), then this healing is much deeper and more effective.

* And proclaim the mercy of your Lord.

Despite the hardships, weakness, it is important to remember the mercy of the Almighty that surrounds us. Reminding yourself of the good things in life softens the pain, and reminding others helps them see what is obscured for them by experiences.

Sometimes these are the most touching words - words about the mercy and care of Allah, which can lead a person out of the quagmire of pessimism and mistrust. As one sheikh said, “Proclaim His mercy, because this teaches people to thank Allah and instills love for the One who endowed creation with blessings.

Indeed, it is natural for the human soul to love the one who does good to it. In this case, this love does not remain unanswered, but increases many times over, according to the greatness and generosity of the Almighty Creator.

Allah Almighty said: (When you read the Quran, We establish between you and those who do not believe in a future life, a veil that covers you. And we put veils on their hearts and deafness in their ears so that they do not understand it, and when you mention the Lord yours in the Qur'an that He is One, then they will turn their backs on you, fleeing).

Abdullah ibn Amri said that the Messenger Allah(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fasting and Koran- they both intercede for the servant of God on the Day of the Last Judgment. And so they both intercede for him.”

Abdullah ibn Amri narrates the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who said: “They will say to the owner of the Qur'an - read and rise, and recite as you recited on earth, verily, your place is on a par with the last verse of the Qur'an from those what did you read”

THE VALUE OF READING AT LEAST ONE LETTER FROM THE QURAN

THE VALUE OF READING TWO OR THREE OR FOUR AYAHS FROM THE BOOK OF ALLAH

And an angel descended from it, and he said: "This is an angel descended to earth, which never descended, but only today." And, greeting, the angel said: "Announce with two lights that were sent down to you and no prophet before you - "Fatiha" of the Qur'an and the end of the sura "Cow", you will never read a single letter of them, except in those provided to you." Abu Sa'id ibn al-Ma'la said: "When I was praying, the Prophet called me and I didn't answer him. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, because I prayed." He said: "Does not Allah say: (Obey Allah and His Messenger when he calls you)." Then he said: "Shall I not teach you the greatest surah of the Qur'an before you leave the mosque?" Then he took my hand, and when we wanted to leave, I reminded: "O Messenger of Allah, truly you said that you would definitely teach me the greatest sura of the Qur'an." He said: (Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds), this is the first chapter of the Qur'an and the noble Qur'an that has been sent down to me."

And the uncle of Kharij ibn as-Salta said that when he passed by the tribe, he was told: "Verily, you came with good from This Man. Remove the spell from one of our fellow tribesmen!" And they brought him to a man who was in the fetters of dementia. And he reprimanded him with the first surah of the Qur'an for three days in the mornings and evenings, and every time he finished, he spat, and after that the shackles seemed to fall from the patient. They gave him something for it. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and told him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Eat, and I swear by the one who ate for the false spell that you have already eaten for the true cure."

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) also told how a group of companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by Maa and one of the inhabitants of Maa appeared in front of them, who asked: “Is there a healer among you by reading? there is a stung man in Maa." After that, one of the group went after him and read the surah "al-Fatiha" to the one who needed it, and he recovered, who read the Koran brought the ram handed to him to his companions. However, they did not want this, saying: "You took a reward for the Book of Allah." He repeated this three times and added that such a prayer would be imperfect. Abu Hurairah objected: “We will follow the Imam,” to which he replied: “Read it to yourself, truly, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:“ Allah Almighty said: “I divided the prayer between Me and My servant into two halves, and My servant will get what he asks. And if the slave says - praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Allah Almighty will say - My servant praised me. And if he says - to the Merciful, Merciful, Allah Almighty will say - My servant gave me praise. And if he says - The Lord of the Day of Judgment, He will say - My servant exalted me. And if he says - We worship You and ask You for help, He will say - this is divided between Me and My slave, and the slave What he asks will be given to Mine, and if he says - Lead us in the right way, the way of those to whom You have shown favors, not those with whom You have been angry and not lost. He will say that this is for My servant, and My servant is given will be what he asks."

And from Abdallah ibn Masud it is known that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Let no one of you be caught at the moment when he puts his foot on his foot and humming, he leaves the recitation of Surah “Cow”, truly , the devil runs away from the house in which the sura "Cow" is read and, verily, the emptiness of the houses is their inner emptiness from the absence of the Book of Allah, the Almighty and the Great.

He said that he complained about this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and he ordered him: "Go, and if you see her, then say - in the Name of Allah, answer me, Messenger of Allah!" And so he managed to catch her, and she vowed not to return again, and he let her go, after which he again came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He asked, "What did your prisoner do?" He replied: "I swore an oath never to return." He said, "She was lying, she has a habit of lying." He told him what she said, and then he said: "Told the truth, being a liar."

"He says to me:" Truly I am poor and I have children, I am in great need. "And then I let him go. The morning came and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and welcomes) asked: “O Abu Hurairah, what did your prisoner do yesterday?” I answered: “O Messenger, he complained that he was in need and that he had children, and I took pity on him and let him go. He'll be back." And I ambushed him for the third time. And he came and began to grab food. Catching him, I said: "I will definitely take you to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and this is the last third time when you assure that you will not return, and then come again." He prayed: "Leave me alone, I will teach you words by which Allah will benefit you." I asked: "What are these words?" He replied: "When you go to sleep, then read the ayat" Al-Kursi "- (Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Living, the Eternal), until you finish the verse, and, verily, Allah will never leave you without a protector and will never come close Satan to you until the morning comes." And then I let him go. And in the morning the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked me: “What did your prisoner do yesterday?” I replied: "O Messenger of Allah, he claimed that he would teach me words that would benefit me from Allah, and I let him go." He asked: "What words were said to you?" I replied that he told me: "When you go to sleep, then read the ayat" Al-Kursi "from beginning to end - (Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Living, the Eternal). He answered with a greeting, and I asked:“ Who are you? Genie or man?" He answered, "Jinn," and said again, "Give me your hand," and he held out his hand, and his hand was a dog's, and his hair was also a dog's. I asked: "Is this the image of a genie?" He said: "The jinn have learned that there is a man stronger than me among you." I again asked: "What brought you?" I asked: “What will save us from you?” The jinn replied: “This is the verse that is in Surah “The Cow” - (Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Living, the Eternal), whoever reads it, when the evening comes, he will be protected from us until morning, and whoever reads it when he gets up in the morning, he will be protected from us until evening." It is known from Aisha that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent one person to the detachment, and he, reading a prayer to his companions, ended it with the Surah "Ikhlas" (Say: He, Allah, is One). When they returned, they told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about this, and he said: "Ask him why he did this?" They asked him and he replied: "Because it is an epithet of the Most Merciful and I love to read it." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Inform him that Allah loves him."

Sahl ibn Ma'az ibn Anas al-Jahni knew from his father Ma'az ibn Anas al-Jahni, a Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever reads (Say: He, Allah, One) until the end ten times, for him Allah will build a palace in Paradise.

And Abu Dardaa (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "Who among you is able to read one third of the Qur'an in one night?" He was asked - how to read one third of the Koran? He replied: a sura (Say: He is Allah, One) is equal to one third of the Qur'an."

The Prophet said (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "Say (Say: He, Allah, One) and two suras beginning with the words" I seek refuge with the Lord "(i.e. suras" al-Falyak "and" an -Us"), when the evening comes and when the morning comes, three times, and this will protect you from everything."

THE VALUE OF SUR "DAWN" AND "PEOPLE" AND THEIR READING

From Uqba ibn Amir it is known that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do you not know the verses sent down this night, the likes of which will never be heard: (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn) and (Say : I seek refuge with the Lord of men)."

And Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he was sick, recited to himself Surahs "Dawn" (al-Falyak) and "People" (an-Nas), spitting, and when his pain intensified, she read for him and, taking his hand, rubbed it, hoping for grace.

Uqba ibn Amir said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Did I not inform you that the best of what seekers of salvation resort to is (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn) and ( Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of men)."

And Uqba ibn Amir also said: "I led with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) his camel on a trip, and he said to me:" O Uqba, why not teach you the two best suras that you will read " And he taught me: (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn) and (Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of men).

Uqba ibn Amir said: "Once I was following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he was on horseback, and I put my hand on his legs, saying:" Teach me to read, O Messenger of Allah, Surah "Hud" and Sura Yusuf. And he replied: "You will never read anything more meaningful to Allah than (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn) and (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of people).

Uqba ibn Amir also said: "Once I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said:" O Uqba, tell me. "I asked:" What will I say, O Messenger of Allah? He did not answer me. Then He again said: "Oh Uqba, tell me," and I asked: "What shall I say, O Messenger of Allah?" And he did not answer me. Then I said: "Oh, my Allah, let him repeat to me!" and he said: "O Uqba, tell me." I asked:

"What shall I say, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn), and I read it to the end. Then he said: "Say," and I asked: "What shall I say, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of men), and I read it to the end. After that, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "No one who asked asked with words like these two verses, and no one who sought protection asked for her with such words."

  6. from jinn and humans

Description of Surah an-Nas

Surahs from the Qur'an have been sent down for this mankind. From Arabic, the word "an-Nas" is translated as "People". The Almighty sent down a sura in Mecca, it contains 6 verses. The Lord turns to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the requirement to always resort to His help, to seek only protection from evil from Allah. By "evil" is meant not so much the sorrows that accompany the earthly path of people, but the imperceptible evil that we ourselves commit, following the lead of our own passions, desires, whims. The Almighty calls this evil “the evil of Satan”: human passions are a genie-tempter who constantly tries to lead a person astray from the righteous path. Shaitan disappears only at the mention of Allah: that is why it is so important to read regularly and.

It must be remembered that the devil uses to deceive people those vices that are hidden in themselves, to which they often strive with all their hearts. Only an appeal to the Almighty can save a person from the evil that lives in him.

Description of Surah Al-Falyak

Sura "Dawn" Allah sent down to the Prophet in Mecca. The prayer contains 5 verses. The Almighty, turning to His Prophet (peace be upon him), requires him and all his followers to always seek salvation and protection from the Lord. A person will find salvation from Allah from all creatures that can harm him. “Evil of darkness” is an important epithet that denotes the anxiety, fear and loneliness that people experience at night: such a state is familiar to everyone. Sura "Dawn", insha Allah, protects a person from the instigations of shaitans, who seek to sow hatred between people, cut off family and friendly ties, instill envy in their souls. Prayer, insha Allah will save from the wicked, who lost the mercy of Allah because of his spiritual weakness, and now seeks to plunge other people into the abyss of sin.

Surah Al-Ikhlas

Very short, easy to remember, but at the same time, extremely effective and useful sura. To listen to Al-Ikhlas in Arabic, you can use video or MP3. The word "Al-Ikhlas" in Arabic means "Sincerity". Sura is a sincere declaration of love and devotion to Allah.

Transcription (phonetic sound of the sura in Russian):

Bismi-llayahi-rrahmaani-rrahiim

  1. Kul hu Allah ahad.
  2. Allah s-samad.
  3. Lam yalid wa lam yulad
  4. Walam yakullahu kufuan ahad.

Semantic translation into Russian:

  1. Say: "He is Allah, the One,
  2. Allah is self-sufficient.
  3. He did not give birth and was not born,
  4. and there is none equal to Him.”

Description of Surah Al-Ikhlas

Sura "Sincerity" Allah sent down to the Prophet in Mecca. Al-Ikhlas contains 4 verses. Muhammad told his disciples that once he was mockingly asked about his attitude towards the Almighty. The answer was Surah Al-Ikhlas, which contains the statement that Allah is Self-sufficient, that He is One and Only in His perfection, that He has always been, and there is no one equal to Him in strength.

With the requirement to tell them about His God, the pagans who professed polytheism turned to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The literal translation of the question they used was "What is your Lord made of?". For paganism, a material understanding of God was common: they created idols from wood and metal, worshiped animals and plants. The answer of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) shocked the pagans so much that they abandoned the old faith and recognized Allah.

Many hadiths point to the benefits of Al-Ikhlas. Within the framework of one article it is impossible to name all the advantages of the sura, there are so many of them. Here are just the most important ones:

In one hadith it is said how Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) turned to people with the following question: “Isn’t each of you able to read a third of the Qur’an in a night?”. The townspeople were amazed and asked how this was possible. The Prophet replied: “Read Surah Al-Ikhlas! It is equal to one third of the Qur'an." This hadeeth suggests that in the sura "Sincerity" so much wisdom is concentrated, how much can not be found in any other text. But not one thinking person is 100% sure that this is exactly what the Prophet said, word for word, so peace be upon him, even if this hadith (the word "hadith" is translated from Arabic as "story") is good in meaning, because if he (peace be upon him) him) did not say so, then this is a slander and a lie on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

It is important to know: all these hadiths may not be reliable. Hadiths must be looked at for their correspondence with the Qur'an. If a hadith contradicts the Qur'an, then it must be discarded, even if it somehow manages to be put into collections of reliable hadith.

Another hadith retells the words of the Prophet to us: “If a believer is fifty times every day, then on the Day of Resurrection a voice from above will be heard over his grave: “Arise, O praiser of Allah, enter Paradise!”. In addition, the Messenger said: “If a person reads Surah Al-Ikhlas a hundred times, then Almighty Allah will forgive him the sins of fifty years, provided that he does not commit four types of sins: the sin of bloodshed, the sin of acquisitiveness and hoarding, the sin of debauchery and the sin drinking alcohol." Saying a Surah is a work that a person does for the sake of Allah. If this work is done with diligence, the Almighty will surely reward the one who prays.

Hadiths repeatedly point to the reward that is received for reading the sura "Sincerity". The reward is proportional to the number of readings of the prayer, the time spent on this. One of the most famous hadiths contains the words of the Messenger, demonstrating the incredible significance of Al-Ikhlas: “If anyone reads Surah Al-Ikhlas once, he will be overshadowed by the grace of the Almighty. Whoever reads it twice, then he and his whole family will be under the shadow of grace. If someone reads it three times, then he himself, his family and his neighbors will receive grace from above. Whoever reads it twelve times, Allah will grant twelve palaces in Paradise. Whoever reads it twenty times, he [on the Day of Judgment] will walk with the prophets like this (saying these words, the Prophet joined and raised his middle and index fingers) Whoever reads it a hundred times, the Almighty will forgive all his sins for twenty-five years except for the sin of bloodshed and the sin of default. Whoever reads it two hundred times, the sins of fifty years will be forgiven. Anyone who reads this surah four hundred times will get a reward equal to the reward of four hundred martyrs who shed blood and whose horses were wounded in battle. Whoever reads Surah Al-Ikhlas a thousand times, he will not die without seeing his place in Paradise, or until he is shown it.

Another hadith contains a kind of recommendation for people who are going on a journey or are already on the road. Travelers are instructed to recite Al-Ikhlas eleven times while grasping the doorposts of their house with both hands. If this is done, then the person will be protected on the way from shaitans, their negative impact and attempts to instill fear and uncertainty in the soul of the traveler. In addition, the recitation of the sura "Sincerity" is a guarantee of a safe return to places dear to the heart.

It is important to know: no sura in itself can help a person in any way, only Allah can help a person and believers rely on Him! And many hadiths, as we see, contradict the Koran - the direct speech of Allah Himself!

There is another option for reading Surah Al-Ikhlas - in combination with Al-Nas and Al-Falak. Each prayer is said three times. Reading these three suras is a protection from evil forces. As the prayer is said, it is necessary to blow on the person we want to protect. Surah is especially useful for children. If the baby cries, screams, kicks his legs, there are signs of the evil eye, be sure to try Al-Ikhlas, Al-Nas and Al-Falak. The effect will be stronger if you read the suras before going to bed.

Sura Yasin

The greatest surah of the Qur'an is Yasin. This sacred text should be taught by all Muslims. You can use audio recordings or videos to make it easier to remember. The Surah is quite large, it contains 83 verses.

Semantic translation:

  1. Ya. Syn.
  2. I swear by the wise Quran!
  3. Indeed, you are one of the messengers
  4. on a straight path.
  5. He was sent down by the Mighty, the Merciful,
  6. so that you warn people whose fathers no one warned, because of which they remained careless ignoramuses.
  7. Most of them the Word has come true, and they won't believe.
  8. Verily, We have put shackles on their necks up to the chin, and their heads are lifted up.
  9. We set up a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them and covered them with a veil, and they do not see.
  10. They don't care if you warn them or not. They don't believe.
  11. You can only warn those who have followed the Reminder and feared the Merciful, not seeing Him with their own eyes. Rejoice him with the news of forgiveness and a generous reward.
  12. Verily, We revive the dead and record what they did and what they left behind. Every thing We have counted in a clear guide (of the Preserved Tablet).
  13. As a parable, bring to them the inhabitants of the village, to whom the messengers came.
  14. When We sent two messengers to them, they considered them liars, and then We reinforced them with a third. They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to you."
  15. They said: “You are the same people as we are. The Merciful One did not send down anything, and you are only lying.”
  16. They said, “Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you.
  17. We are only entrusted with the clear communication of the revelation.”
  18. They said, “Verily, we have seen in you an evil omen. If you do not stop, then we will certainly beat you with stones and you will be touched by painful sufferings from us.
  19. They said, “Your evil omen will turn against you. Do you consider it a bad omen if you are warned? Oh no! You are people who have crossed the boundaries of what is permitted!”
  20. A man hastily came from the outskirts of the city and said: “O my people! Follow the messengers.
  21. Follow those who do not ask you for a reward and follow the straight path.
  22. And why should I not worship the One who created me and to whom you will be returned?
  23. Shall I worship other gods besides Him? For if the Merciful wishes to harm me, their intercession will not help me in any way, and they will not save me.
  24. That's when I find myself in an obvious delusion.
  25. Verily, I have believed in your Lord. Listen to me."
  26. He was told: "Enter Paradise!" He said, "Oh, if only my people knew
  27. why my Lord forgave me (or that my Lord forgave me) and that He made me one of the honored!
  28. After him, We did not send down any army from heaven against his people, and We did not intend to send down.
  29. There was only one voice, and they died out.
  30. O woe to the slaves! Not a single messenger came to them that they did not mock.
  31. Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them and that they will not return to them?
  32. Indeed, all of them will be collected from Us.
  33. A sign for them is the dead earth, which We revived and extracted from it the grain on which they feed.
  34. We made gardens of palms and vines on it and made springs flow in them,
  35. that they eat their fruits and what they have created with their own hands (or that they eat fruits that they have not created with their own hands). Won't they be grateful?
  36. Exalted is He Who created in pairs what the earth grows, themselves and what they do not know.
  37. A sign for them is the night, which We separate from the day, and now they are plunged into darkness.
  38. The sun is sailing towards its location. Such is the arrangement of the Mighty, the Knower.
  39. We have ordained positions for the moon until it becomes again like an old palm branch.
  40. The sun does not have to overtake the moon, and the night does not lead the day. Each floats in orbit.
  41. A sign for them is that We carried their offspring in an overflowing ark.
  42. We created for them in his likeness what they sit on.
  43. If We will, We will drown them, and then no one will save them, and they themselves will not be saved,
  44. unless We show them mercy and allow them to enjoy benefits until a certain time.
  45. When they are told: “Fear what is before you and what is after you, so that you may have mercy,” they do not answer.
  46. Whatever sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them, they certainly turn away from it.
  47. When they are told: “Spend from what Allah has given you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed the one whom Allah would feed if He wished? Verily, you are only in apparent error.”
  48. They say, "When will this promise come true if you're telling the truth?"
  49. They have nothing to look forward to but a single voice that will strike them when they quarrel.
  50. They will not be able to leave a will or return to their families.
  51. The horn will be blown, and now they rush to their Lord from the graves.
  52. They will say: “Woe to us! Who raised us from the place where we slept? This is what the Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth.”
  53. There will be only one voice, and they will all be gathered from Us.
  54. No injustice will be done to a single soul today, and you will only be rewarded for what you have done.
  55. Indeed, the inhabitants of Paradise today will be occupied with enjoyment.
  56. They and their spouses will lie in the shadows on the beds, leaning against.
  57. There is fruit for them and everything they need.
  58. The merciful Lord greets them with the word: "Peace!"
  59. Separate today, O sinners!
  60. Haven't I commanded you, O sons of Adam, not to worship Satan, who is your open enemy,
  61. and worship me? This is the straight path.
  62. He has already misled many of you. Don't you understand?
  63. Here is Gehenna that was promised to you.
  64. Burn in it today because you didn't believe."
  65. Today We will seal their mouths. Their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to what they have acquired.
  66. If We will, We will deprive them of their sight, and then they will rush to the Path. But how will they see?
  67. If We will, We will disfigure them in their places, and then they will not be able to move forward or return.
  68. To whom We grant long life, We give the opposite form. Don't they understand?
  69. We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, and it is not befitting for him. This is nothing but a Reminder and a clear Quran,
  70. that he may warn those who are alive, and that the Word may be fulfilled concerning unbelievers.
  71. Do they not see that out of what Our hands (We Ourselves) have done, We have created cattle for them, and that they own them?
  72. We have made him subject to them. They ride on some of them, and feed on others.
  73. They bring them benefit and drink. Won't they be grateful?
  74. But they worship other gods instead of Allah in the hope that they will be helped.
  75. They cannot help them, although they are a ready army for them (the pagans are ready to fight for their idols, or the idols will be a ready army against the pagans in the Hereafter).
  76. Don't let their words make you sad. We know what they hide and what they reveal.
  77. Can't man see that We created him from a drop? And here he is openly bickering!
  78. He gave us a parable and forgot about his creation. He said, "Who will revive the bones that have decayed?"
  79. Say: “The One Who created them the first time will revive them. He is aware of every creation."
  80. He created fire for you out of green wood, and now you are kindling fire from him.
  81. Is He Who created the heavens and the earth not able to create like them? Of course, because He is the Creator, the Knower.
  82. When He desires something, it is worthwhile for Him to say: “Be!” - how it comes true.
  83. Exalted is He in Whose Hand is power over all things! To Him you will be returned.

Sura Yasin Allah sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Mecca. In this text, the Almighty informed the Prophet (sallallahu ‘aleihi wa sallam) that he is the messenger of the Lord, and from the moment of revelation, his task is to enlighten, teach and exhort the people, vegetating in the abyss of polytheism. The sura also speaks of those who dare to disobey the instructions of Allah, who refuse to accept the Messenger - these unfortunate ones will face severe punishment and universal censure.

“Allah (God, Lord) ... There is no god but Him, the Eternally Living, Existing. Neither sleep nor slumber will overtake him. He owns everything in heaven and on earth. Who will intercede before Him, except by His will!? He knows what was and what will be. No one is able to comprehend even particles from His knowledge, except by His will. Heaven and Earth are embraced by the course (Great Throne) of Him, and He does not bother to care for them [About everything that is in our galactic system]. He is the Most High [by all characteristics above everything and everything], the Great [His greatness has no limits]!” (see, Holy Quran, sura “al-Baqarah”, ayat 255 (2:255)).

Ayat Al-Kursi is included in Sura Al-Baqara (translated from Arabic - a cow). According to the account in the sura, ayat 255th. It should be said right away that many prominent theologians believe that Al-Kusri is a separate sura, and not an ayat. Be that as it may, the Messenger stated that the verse is the key one in the Koran, it contains the most important statement that distinguishes Islam from other religions - the dogma of monotheism. In addition, the verse gives evidence of the greatness and infinite nature of the Lord. In this sacred text, Allah is called "Ismi 'azam" - this name is considered the most worthy name of God.

Instructional video for the correct pronunciation of Ayat Al Kursi

It is important to know: you should not read the Quran loudly in a chant, and even more so compete in it - while listening to such melodies you will fall into a trance and you will not understand the most important thing - the meaning that Allah conveyed to mankind to observe the Quran and meditate on His verses.

Surah Al-Baqarah

- the second and most voluminous in the Qur'an. The sacred text contains 286 verses that reveal the very essence of religion. The sura contains the teachings of Allah, the instruction of the Lord to Muslims, a description of how they should behave in various situations. In general, we can say that Surah Al-Baqarah is a text that regulates the whole life of a believer. The document says almost everything: about revenge, about the distribution of inheritance among the relatives of the deceased, about the use of alcoholic beverages, about playing cards and dice. Much attention is paid to the issues of marriage and divorce, the trading side of life, and relations with debtors.

From the Arabic language "Al-Baqara" is translated as "Cow". This name is associated with a parable, which is given in the sura. The parable tells about the Israelite cow and Musa, peace be upon him. In addition, the text contains many stories about the life of the Prophet and his followers. In "Al-Baqara" it is directly stated that the Koran is a guide in the life of a Muslim, which is given to him by the Almighty. In addition, in the sura there is a mention of believers who have received favor from Allah, as well as those who have angered the Almighty with disobedience and a tendency to disbelief.

Let us remember the words of the Great Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Do not turn your houses into graves. Shaitan flees from the house where Surah al-Baqarah is being recited. This exceptionally high assessment of the Surah "The Cow" allows us to consider it the most important in the Koran. The great significance of the sura is also emphasized by another hadith: “Read the Qur'an, because on the Day of Resurrection he will come and will intercede for his own. Read two blooming suras - suras "al-Baqara" and "Ali Imran", because on the Day of Resurrection they will appear like two clouds or two flocks of birds lined up in rows and will intercede for their own. Read Surah al-Baqarah, because there is grace and abundance in it, and without it there is sadness and annoyance, and sorcerers cannot cope with it.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, the last 2 verses are considered the main ones:

  • 285. The messenger and the believers believed in what was sent down to him from the Lord. They all believed in Allah, His angels, His Scriptures and His messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between His messengers." They say: “Listen and obey! We ask for Your forgiveness, our Lord, and we will arrive to You.
  • 286. Allah does not burden a person beyond his capacity. He will get what he has acquired, and what he has acquired will be against him. Our Lord! Do not punish us if we have forgotten or made a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place on us the burden that You placed on our predecessors. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot afford. Be kind to us! Forgive us and have mercy! You are our Protector. Help us to prevail over unbelieving people.

In addition, the sura contains the verse "Al-Kursi", which we have quoted above. The great meaning and incredible importance of Al-Kursi has been repeatedly emphasized by leading theologians who referred to famous hadiths. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, calls on Muslims to read these verses, teach them, teach them to their family members, wives and children. After all, the last two verses “Al-Bakar” and “Al-Kursi” are a direct appeal to the Almighty.

Interesting facts about Surah Al-Fatiha

Undoubtedly, the sura "Al-Fatiha" is the greatest sura of the Koran. This is confirmed by the epithets that it is customary to designate this unique text: “Opening Book”, “Mother of the Quran”, etc. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him!) repeatedly pointed out the special significance and value of this sura. For example, the Prophet said the following: "Whoever did not read the Opening Book (i.e. Surah al-Fatiha), he did not perform a prayer." In addition, the following words belong to him: “Whoever makes a prayer without reading the Opening Book in it, then it is not complete, not complete, not complete, not finished.” In this hadith, special attention is drawn to the threefold repetition of the word "not complete." The Prophet framed the phrase in such a way as to increase the impact on the listener, to emphasize that without reading Al-Fatih, prayer may not reach the Almighty.

Every Muslim should know that the Al-Fatiha sura is an indispensable element of prayer. The text deserves the honor of being in front of any sura of the Qur'an. "Al-Fatiha" is the most read sura in the Islamic world, the verses from it are pronounced constantly and in each of the rak'ahs.

One of the hadiths claims that the Almighty will reward the reader of the Al-Fatiha surah to the same extent as the person who read 2/3 of the Koran. Another hadith quotes the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him!): “I received 4 things from the special treasures of ‘Arsh (Throne), from which no one ever received anything. These are Surah Fatiha, Ayatul Kursi, the last verses of Surah Bakara and Surah Kausar. The colossal significance of Surah Al-Fatiha is also emphasized by the following hadith: “Four times Iblis had to grieve, cry and tear his hair out: the first when he was cursed, the second when he was driven from heaven to earth, the third when the Prophet (sallallahu ' alayhi wa sallam) received the fourth prophecy when Surah Fatiha was sent down.

“Muslim Sharif” contains one very revealing hadith, which cites the words of the Great Prophet (may Allah bless him and be present”: “Today one of the doors of heaven opened, which had never opened before. And one angel descended from it, who had never before descended. And the angel said: "Receive the good news about two nurs that have never been given to anyone before you. One is the sura "Fatiha", and the second is the end of the sura "Baqarah (the last three verses)".

What is the first thing that comes to mind in this hadeeth? Of course, the fact that the suras "Fatiha" and "Bakara" are called "nurs" in it. Translated from Arabic, this word means "light." On the Day of Judgment, when Allah will judge people for their earthly path, the read suras will become a light that will attract the attention of the Almighty and allow Him to separate the righteous from the sinners.

"Al-Fatiha" is "Ismi A'zam", that is, a text that should be read in any situation. Even in ancient times, doctors noticed that the sura written in rose oil on the bottom of porcelain dishes makes the water exceptionally healing. The patient needs to drink water for 40 days. In a month he will feel relief, God willing. To improve the condition with a toothache, headache, pain in the abdomen, the sura must be read exactly 7 times.

From Abdullah ibn Amri it is known that someone came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, teach me to read the Qur'an." He said: "Read thrice (Alif, lam, ra)." The man replied: "I am old, and my tongue is heavy and my heart is hardened." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Read thrice (Ha Mim). The man again said the same thing: “But still teach me, O Messenger of Allah, a comprehensive sura!” And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught him Allah hails him) - (When the earth trembles from its shaking) until he reached (Whoever does a good thing weighing a speck of dust, he will see it, and whoever does evil weighing a speck of dust, evil, he will see it). The man said: "I swear To those Who sent You with the truth, everything is one for me, but can I add something else to this, until I meet Allah, the Almighty and Great, tell me, nevertheless, what should I do from what is in my power ?" He said to him: "Performing five prayers and observing the Fast of the month of Ramadan, performing the Hajj and doing alms, the one that is due to you, and induce to the good and keep from the sinful."

THE VALUE OF READING THE SURAH "INCORRECT"

THE VALUE OF READING SUR "UNBELIEVERS" AND "IKHLAS"

Abu al-Hasan Muhajir reports: "A man came at the time of Ziyad to Kufa, and I heard him say that, while traveling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he drove a camel and, according to him , his knee touched his knee. And he, hearing a man read: (Say: oh, you infidels), said: "He is saved from paganism." And he (i.e. the Prophet), hearing how a man reads (Say: He is Allah, One), said: "He is forgiven."

THE VALUE OF READING SURAH ICHLAS

It is known from Aisha that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent one person to the detachment, and he, reading a prayer to his companions, ended it with the Surah "Ikhlas" (Say: He, Allah, is One).

And Uqba ibn Amir also said: "I was leading with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) his camel on a trip, and he said to me:" Oh Uqba, why not teach you the two best suras that you will read " And he taught me: (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn) and (Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of men).

Allāhumma innī asaluka taAjīla Aāfiyatika va ŝabran baliyatika va ḣurudjan minad dunyā ilā raḣmātika.

“O Allah, I ask You to speed up my recovery and give me patience in Your trials and exit from the near world to Your mercy!”

14. In “Hilyatu l-muttakin” it was narrated from Imam Sadiq (A) that he ordered his companions to put their right hand on that part of the body that hurts and read the following dua three times:

Allāhu allāhu rabbi ḣaќќan lā ushriku bihi shay-an allāhumma anta lahā wa li kulli Aažīmatin fa farrijha Aanni.

“Allah, Allah is my Lord truly, I do not associate anyone with Him! O Allah, You have great power over this disease and over everything that is, so deliver me from it!

Bismi llāhi va billāhi kam min niAamati llāhi fi Airin sākinin va geyri sākinin Aala Aabdin shākirin va geyri shākirin.

Then say 3 times:

Allahhumma farrij Aanni kurbati va Aajjil Aafiyati va kshif żurri.

“In the name of Allah, and for the sake of Allah! How many bounties of Allah are in the veins of those who move and those who do not move, over grateful and ungrateful slaves!

Then say 3 times:

“O Allah, deliver me from my distress, hasten my recovery and remove my illness from me!”

16. Imam Sadiq (A) advised his companions to put their right hand on the diseased part of the body and read 82 verses of the sura “Transferred at night”:

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إَلاَّ خَسَاراً

Va nunazzilu minal Ŝurāni mā huva shifaun va raḣmatun lil mu'minģn va lā yazīdu žžālim²na illa ḣasāra.

“And We send down from the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but for the oppressors it only increases the loss.”

17. It is narrated in Misbah by Kafami that if a child is ill, then his mother can achieve his recovery by standing with her head bare in the open and reading the following dua:

Allahhumma rabbi anta aAṫaitanihi va anta vahabtanihi la. Allāhumma fajaalt hibataka l-yauma jadīdatan innaka ќādirun muќtadir.

“O Allah, my Lord, You gave me him (the child) and endowed me with him! O Allah, on this day grant me Your gifts again! Verily, You are the Almighty, the Strong!”

18. To heal from illness or pain, make a vow that if you recover, you will read 1400 or 14000 salavats as a gift to “Babu l-Khawaij” (“gates of requests”) to Imam Musa ibn Jafar Kazym (A).

19. For healing, Imam Sadiq (A) advised his companions to read Surah “Ikhlyas” 1000 times, and then ask Allah for the sake of Fatima Zahra (A), and then the disease will disappear.

20. For healing, Imam Sadiq (A) advised to write verses of the Koran on a piece of paper, and then hang this piece of paper around the neck as a talisman. These verses (write in Arabic): "He endured at night", ayat 105; then “Beared by night”, verse 82; then "Imran's Family", ayat 144; then "Muhammad", verse 2; then Hosts, verse 40; then "Victory", verse 29; then "Rows", verse 6; then Thunder, verse 31.

Then also write in Arabic:

"The power belongs to Allah - the One, the Crusher."

When you hang these verses around your neck as a talisman, say:

Bismi llāhi maktubun Aala sāќil Aarsh

"In the name of Allah, which is written at the foot of the Throne."

21. For healing, Imam Reza (A) advised to write the following verses on separate sheets of paper, and then wrap them in a talisman and hang them around the neck. These verses: “Ta.Ha”, ayat 68; "Story", verse 25; "Heights", verse 54.

One of the best bounties and rewards of Allah sent down to mankind is good spiritual and physical health. The highest creation of the Almighty - man - has the perfection and harmony of internal and external characteristics. Having created man, Allah gave him the religion of Islam as a reliable support in life, as the necessary knowledge and happiness in both Worlds. Faith in Allah is the only thing that makes each of us really rich, calm, confident, and therefore healthy.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Ask Allah for assurance of faith and health, for no one is richer than the one who is convinced of his faith and has good health.”

In the Qur'an, the Almighty Creator does not separate the spiritual from the physical. Unbelief, polytheism and hypocrisy He calls an illness and a defect of the heart, which becomes not only a disease of the soul and body, but also leads to a painful punishment:

“Their hearts are evil. May Allah aggravate their vice! They are in for a painful punishment because they lied!”

(Sura Al-Baqarah; 10)

The denial of God is a disease worse and more dangerous than which there is none. Physical illness is not a sin.

For Allah said:

"There is no reproach to the blind, or the lame, or the sick"

(Sura Al-Fath; 17)

However, the preservation of the good granted by Almighty Allah is the duty of every reasonable person. One of the first questions on the Day of Judgment will be how we spent our health: “Didn’t Allah make your body healthy and take away your thirst for cold water?”

Human health is one of the main tasks of Islam. Islam forbids everything that can harm a person, family, society, state: murder, usury, gambling, alcohol, adultery, lies, malice, envy, etc. And, on the contrary, it establishes the laws leading to the right way of life, thinking, and healthy eating. The Almighty sent down to man both health and disease.

However, according to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Allah has not sent down a single disease without at the same time bestowing a cure for it” . In the divine revelation - the Quran, the Creator tells what is good, useful for people, and what is not. The Qur'an itself is the perfect remedy for any disease of the spirit and body, protection, guidance and mercy. Allah Almighty said:

"We send down the Qur'an as a healing and mercy to the believers, and it only adds damage to the sinners"

(Sura Al-Isra; 82)

The very first thing that Almighty God bequeathed is to read the Koran. The first verses revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) through the angel Jibrail were as follows:

“Read! In the name of your Lord, who created all things…”

(Sura Al-Alaq; 1)

Those who read or listen to the Qur'an experience peace of mind and relief. They acquire a joyful state of mind, inner peace. Each letter of the holy book is healing. Reading the suras of the Qur'an according to certain rules is the correct breathing that gives relief and healing. The American doctor, Muslim scientist Ahmad al-Qadiy in the Akbar clinic in Panama (Florida) conducted a special study to study the healing effect of the verses of the Holy Quran, read aloud, on patients with stress, heart and some other diseases. The results were impressive: 97% of patients who listened to the Qur'an got rid of stress, a positive effect of the Qur'an on the functioning of the heart, brain, nervous system, skin condition, etc. was recorded. Of the 114 suras of the Qur'an, the 1st sura "Al-Fatiha" (Opening) occupies a special place. It eliminates sadness, fear, melancholy, depression, gives confidence and strength, strengthens faith. Surahs "Al-Ikhlas", "Al-Falyak", "An-Nas" are a powerful means of spiritual purification. They purify the soul, the body, are deliverance from one's own base instincts. The Quran is the word of Allah, His speech. Diseases cannot resist their power and wisdom.

The Qur'an is the supreme cure for all diseases. But not everyone can be treated by the Koran. This requires sincere faith, firm conviction, the fulfillment of all prescribed actions, the avoidance of His prohibitions.

“O people! An admonition has come to you from your Lord, healing for what is in the breast, guidance and mercy for the believers.”

(Sura Yunus; 57)

The basis of the religion of Islam, the main rite of worship of the Almighty is prayer. The first thing that will be asked on the Day of Judgment is prayer, which the Prophet called the most charitable deed. It is said in the Quran:

"And ask for help to patience and prayer"

(Sura Al-Baqarah; 45)

Namaz is one of the pillars of Islam, an obligatory action for every believer. During prayer, a person appears before the Almighty, reads surahs from the Koran, turns to Allah with glorifications and prayers, concentrates his will, memory, body, soul in order to best perform the religious rite of worship of the Creator. From a medical point of view, daily prayer five times heals, calms the soul. Certain prayer movements that the prayer performs train the body, heart, joints, and brain. So, for example, scientists at Oxford University came to the conclusion that the best exercise for the brain is “saҗda” (prostration) in prayer. When a person does “saida” during prayer, the pressure in the vessels of the brain increases and the vessels expand, and when he straightens up, the vessels contract, because. their pressure decreases. Thus, as a result of repeated bows, the walls of the vessels are strengthened. During prayer, all 360 joints of a person are involved. Performing prayers at the same time 5 times a day forms a biological rhythm in the human body, its internal clock works clearly, without failures, and this leads to the coordinated work of all organs. Namaz is an external and internal practice: it is a set of physical exercises and at the same time the richest spiritual food.

Namaz is impossible without ritual ablution. A small ablution (taharat) and a full ablution (ghusl) are defined in the Qur'an as an obligatory action of a believer when performing prayer:

“O you who believe! When you stand up for prayer, then wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, wipe your heads and wash your feet up to the ankles. And if you are in sexual defilement, then purify yourself…”

(Sura Al-Maida; 6)

The religion of Islam attaches great importance to cleanliness. "Cleanliness is half of faith" - said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Turning to Allah Almighty with a prayer, the believer must be clean in body, soul, intention and thoughts. Prayer performed without ablution is considered invalid. And this is the boundless mercy and wisdom of the Creator, who cares about His servants, incl. and about their cleanliness and health. At least 5 times a day, a Muslim performs a ritual ritual ablution before prayer: he washes his face, hands above the elbows, wipes his head, and washes both legs above the ankles. Thus, throughout the day it remains clean, fresh, and tidy. From a medical point of view, washing cleanses the skin of pathogenic microbes, has a massage and hardening effect, and serves as a prevention of colds. The role of taharat is also undeniable from the point of view of hygiene and sanitation. The therapeutic effect of ritual washing on a person also lies in the effect of water on biologically active points, of which there are more than 700 on the human body. on the face, arms, head and legs. So, for example, when washing the face, apart from the refreshing effect of water, there is a "recharge" of such organs as the intestines, stomach and bladder, a positive effect on the nervous system, etc. When washing hands above the elbows, the general tone of the body rises, the heart calms down, and blood circulation increases. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), in addition to the 4 obligatory actions in the taharat, performed additional ones. These include, for example, rinsing the mouth and nose, wiping the ears and neck, using miswak or sivak. Sivak is a toothpick made from the roots or branches of the arak tree.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to use the Siwak. One of the hadiths conveys: “Each time Jabrail (peace be upon him) appeared to me instructed me to apply sivak, I was even afraid that the use of sivak would be made a farz (duty). If I were not afraid of burdening my ummat (i.e., the Muslim community), I would make it a duty.” Sivak is very useful to a person. Only a single use of it kills up to 80% of microorganisms, it prevents caries, massages the gums, cleans teeth, tongue, prevents the appearance of tartar, freshens breath, clears the mind, increases appetite, activates biologically active points located in the oral cavity, and also regulates 70 human ailments.

Thus, washing every part of the body is a whole health system that gives not only physical cleanliness and health, but peace of mind, a charge of vivacity and self-confidence. The care of the Supreme Creator about His slaves is boundless. Everything that He has ordained gives relief and happiness in this life and the Hereafter. For example, Post or Uraza. Allah said:

“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, just as it was prescribed for those who lived before you - perhaps you will become God-fearing.

(Sura Al-Baqarah; 183)

Fasting is both spiritual and physical medicine. Fasting brings the believer closer to Allah, makes it possible to receive reward and mercy, the forgiveness of their sins. Fasting instills in a person willpower, patience, develops the best qualities in him, erasing the bad ones. The soul and heart of a fasting person calms down from the realization of his closeness to the Almighty, overflows with the joy of unity with all believers. The body of a person during fasting receives a long-awaited purification and rest. "Fast - it will improve your health" - said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Fasting relieves the body of toxins, gives rest to all organs, especially the digestive system. The results of scientific research have shown that Muslim fasting does not hide the dangers that accompany ordinary fasting, at the same time it gives the same healing effect as fasting.

In 1994, at the I International Congress on the theme "Health and Ramadan" in Casablanca (Morocco), 50 studies were presented on the issue of the medical benefits of fasting. Many medical cases have seen improvement, and none of these studies have been able to find any evidence to support the negative effects of fasting on the body. The most important benefit of fasting from a medical point of view is the cleansing of the blood flow and the restoration of a normal pH balance in the blood. Observance of uraza is the best remedy for those suffering from excessive moisture in the body, from high blood pressure, in the treatment of diseases caused by stress, insomnia. Thanks to fasting, toxins are washed out of the brain, sharper mental concentration develops, memory is strengthened, and the spiritual state improves. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fasting is a shield or protection from the flames, and from committing sins…” In other words, Muslim fasting cleanses not only the mind and soul, but also the body from everything harmful and sinful. During the night miraculous ascension of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to heaven (al mi'hraj), each group of angels that the Messenger of Allah passed by said: "Oh Muhammad! Order your community to practice bloodletting." . The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stated: "Bleeding is one of the best medicines for you." Prophetic medicine recommends bloodletting as a means of purifying the blood, the outer parts of the body. Cupping on the upper back is useful for sore shoulders and throat. Bloodletting from 2 jugular veins helps with diseases of the head, face, teeth, ears, eyes, throat and nose. According to the hadiths, the Messenger of Allah used bloodletting in the area of the head, upper back and 2 jugular veins. It is reported that bleeding on a full stomach is a disease, on an empty stomach is a cure, and on the 17th day of the month it is a medicine. But if the disease worsens, then bloodletting should be carried out at any time, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "So that corrupted blood does not cause death."

The Almighty Creator and His Messenger taught people not only the means of maintaining health and curing diseases, but also recommended the most wholesome foodstuffs to them. Merciful and Merciful Allah sent down separate verses about some of them. For example, honey. In the 16th sura of the Qur'an "An - Nakhl" (Bees) it is reported:

“... Drinking different colors comes from the abdomens of bees, which brings healing to people. Verily, in this is a sign for a people who think.”

(Sura "An - Nakhl"; 69)

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Use two methods of treatment: honey and the Qur'an" . Honey has great medicinal value, pronounced antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It flushes out toxins, dissolves excess moisture, softens intestinal motility, treats chills and colds, and is a tasty, satisfying food.

Another product that is of great benefit to people, and which is mentioned in the Holy Quran, is dates.

“So shake the trunk of the palm tree and fresh dates will fall on you. Now eat, drink and rejoice…”

(Sura "Maryam"; 26)

At the time of labor pains, Allah inspired the righteous Maryam (Mary) to taste the fruits of dates. This indication of the Qur'an carries Divine wisdom. Only recently have scientists been able to appreciate the greatest benefits of dates for facilitating childbirth, as well as for pregnant women. The chemical oxytocin found in dates is used in modern medicine as a birth aid drug. It is noteworthy that dates contain more than 10 elements necessary for health and sobriety of thought. Today, scientists have come to the conclusion that a person can live for several years, eating only dates and water. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “To the one who eats seven dates of the al-aliya variety, neither poison nor witchcraft will harm that day” Dates have great healing properties and are very effective in treating heart disease. They are excellent food. Aisha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), recommended dates as an excellent remedy for dizziness. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always broke his fast with dates during the fasting month of Ramadan. This was his food. Modern science has established that dates are an important component of a complete human diet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) himself grew date palms and attached great importance to dates. Dates are mentioned 20 times in the Quran. This emphasizes their important role in human life. One of the surahs of the Holy Quran begins with the mention of two plants at once - figs and olives: "I swear by the fig tree and the olive tree!" - says Allah (Sura At-Tin; 1)

Allah swears by the fig, for it is a great benefit to people. Figs are a unique fruit, they contain a lot of fiber, which is so important for a person for the normal functioning of the digestive system. In addition, it has been found that figs are extremely rich in phenol compounds, rich in antioxidants. This fruit is a cholesterol-lowering agent. Figs eliminate the sand formed in the liver, congestion in the chest, throat and trachea, as well as mucus in the stomach.

In the surah of the Holy Quran “At-Tin”, the Almighty swears by the olive. This is not accidental: the whole olive tree, and the bark, and the resin, and the fruits, and the oil of the fruits, and the leaves - all have useful properties. Olives contain up to 100 useful substances: proteins, carbohydrates, fiber, pectins, potassium, calcium, vitamins A, B, E. Olive reduces the risk of diseases of the heart and blood vessels, stomach and liver, regulates the absorption of salt and fats in the body, lowers blood pressure, helps prevent skin cancer. Olive oil brings great benefits to a person, which the Almighty Creator mentioned in the Qur'an:

“Allah is the Light of heaven and earth. His light in the soul of a believer is like a niche in which there is a lamp ... It is kindled from a blessed olive tree ... Its oil is ready to glow even without contact with fire ... "

(Sura An-Nur; 35)

The Messenger of Allah, noting the beneficial properties of olive oil, said: "Eat olive oil and use it as an ointment, for it is made from a blessed tree" .

In the Holy Scriptures, the Creator also speaks about ginger, on which the drink for the inhabitants of Paradise will be infused:

“In that garden, those (virgins) will give them a drink from a cup (drink) infused with ginger”

(Sura Al-Insan; 17)

That is, ginger is such a useful and valuable product that believers in the Gardens of Eden will eat it. Ginger warms the body, aids in the absorption process, softens the stomach, opens blockages in the liver, improves eyesight, aids digestion, enhances memory. Almighty Allah pointed out to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) another healing remedy - black cumin. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In black cumin - a cure for any ailment except death" Black cumin is the seeds of an annual black plant native to the Mediterranean basin. Black cumin helps with bloating, indigestion, runny nose and colds. It helps to increase the tone of the body, strengthens the immune system, treats fungal diseases, prevents the development of cancer, helps with asthma, etc. Especially often in medicine, black cumin oil, obtained from ripened seeds, is used. Black cumin has a very rich chemical composition, it contains more than 100 components. It is known that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ate black cumin dried and mixed with honey every morning on an empty stomach. Water also brings great benefits to a person, to which the Almighty points out to believers in many verses of the Qur'an:

“He is the One who sends down water from the sky. It serves as a drink for you, and thanks to it, plants grow among which you graze your cattle. ”

(Sura "An - Nakhl"; 10)

The best water is the water of the Zam-Zam spring. An authentic hadith says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said about Zam-Zam water: "It is pleasant as a drink and cures ailments" The Prophet took Zam-Zam water in wineskins on campaigns, washed the sick with it and healed them. The source of Zam - Zam is located in Mecca, at the Sacred Mosque. It was dug by the angel Jibrail himself, and the first prophets drank water from it. Water from the Zam-Zam spring washed the heart of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This is the most valuable water on earth. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Zam water is Zam for what it is taken for. If you drink for healing, the Almighty will heal you; if you drink to be satisfied, you will be satisfied; if you drink to quench your thirst, you will quench your thirst.” In other words, drinking Zam-Zam water is associated with the sincerity of intention and prayer to the Almighty, for He alone heals. Indeed, Allah said in the Qur'an:

"When you are sick, He heals you"

(Sura "Ash - Shura"; 80)

Zam water - Zam strengthens the body's defenses, cleanses all organs of harmful substances, cures fever, helps with kidney stones, jaundice, heart pain, improves memory, etc. About Zam-Zam water they say that it is both food and healing at the same time. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called her blessed. Prophetic medicine, based on divine revelations, includes other foods and medicines that are beneficial to people's health: garlic, peppermint, watermelon, banana, eggplant, raisins, dogwood, myrtle, musk, lemon, chicory salt, etc. . Prophetic healing is far more effective than any other form of medicine. After all, the heart and soul of the believer become stronger, they interact with each other to overcome the disease. The hearts of believers are connected with the Lord of all worlds - the Creator of diseases and their treatment. Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has not sent down a single disease without giving a cure for it” In the holy Quran, all foods and drinks are allowed, except for those that are prohibited by the Almighty. Speaking about healthy foodstuffs recommended by the Almighty Creator and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), let us remind you once again what is forbidden. These are carrion, pork, blood, alcohol and everything that was sacrificed not for the sake of Allah.

“Oh people! Eat on earth what is lawful and pure, and do not follow in the footsteps of the devil. Verily, he is an open enemy to you."

(Sura Al-Baqarah; 168)

“O you who believe! Eat the lawful blessings with which we have endowed you, and be grateful to Allah, if only you worship Him.

(Sura Al-Baqarah; 172)

Again and again, the Almighty Creator calls people to eat the right, permitted, wholesome food, taking care of their life, physical and spiritual health. The Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are wise instructions for those who have reason, who believe in Allah, worship Him and are grateful to the Creator for countless blessings. The implementation of these instructions, recommendations, direct orders and prohibitions gives brilliant results. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the people: “Appreciate five things before the other five come: use wealth when you are rich before poverty comes; value your health until the disease has befallen; value your free time until it's busy time; appreciate your youth until old age has come; cherish the time of your life until death comes to you"
