Treatment with the names of Allah and their meaning. Beautiful names of Allah to use in prayers. Diseases of the genital organs

Allah has described Himself in detail and obliges us to reflect on His names and qualities. By understanding and realizing the meaning of His names, we can call on Him through them even in the most difficult moments of our lives.

In this article we will look at several names of the Almighty, as well as their definitions. Each name is different and incorporates certain qualities, therefore, they can be used when reading certain prayers.

Generous, Noble – al-Karim

Allah is the Most Generous. Al-Karim, the Most Generous, is the One who gives abundance without measure. He gives even before He is asked, and even to those who are not at all worthy of it, He exceeds people's expectations and constantly pleases them with immeasurable benefits.

Al-Karimone who forgives, although He has the power to exact retribution.

When we ask Allah to be generous towards us, we should also try to be generous and follow the advice of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said: “The generous is close to Allah, close to Paradise, close to people and far from Hell. A stingy person is far from Allah, far from people and close to Hell. Allah loves the generous ignorant more than the pious miser.”

Al-Karim created us from nothing, gave us life and gave us worthy nourishment on this earth. The Holy Book says: “He is the one who created for you everything on earth” (Quran, Surah Baqarah, verse 29).

The Most Generous - Al-Akram

Allah is the most generous, and His generosity cannot be compared with anything. The names Karim and Akram come from the root kaf-ra-mim, which has two meanings: to be generous, giving, revered and valuable.

The Giver – al-Wahhab

Allah is the One who constantly bestows His creations. The root of this word is hiba, which means gift. Since God is Al-Wahab, this means that He does not bestow once or twice, but constantly.

The Almighty is so generous that His generosity reaches all His servants. He gives whatever he wants to whomever he wants. This includes food and treatment for injuries and illnesses. “Or do they have treasuries of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the Bestower?” (Quran, Surah Sad, verse 9)

Al-Wahab bestows countless benefits without any difficulty, without expecting anything in return. When we ask God to grant us His benefits, it is worth remembering that He loves it when we try to imitate this beautiful name by cultivating the same qualities in ourselves.

Imam Ghazali (1058 - 1111) reminds: “Whoever gives something with the hope of gratitude, affection or atonement for guilt - such a person cannot be called a generous giver. It's more like a deal."

Generous, Magnanimous - al-Jawad

Allah's bounty prevails over all creatures. He bestows upon them grace, kindness, and blessings. There is no being who is deprived of His blessings even for the blink of an eye. He especially favors righteous believers.

Allah is al-Jawad. The generosity of every generous person is created by Him, but the generosity of people is less than an atom in weight compared to His generosity. There is no one more generous than God, and the generosity of people comes from His generosity.

The name al-Jawad is also sometimes translated as "the generous one." Generosity means forgiveness when insulted or damaged. His generosity embraces all creation with generosity and kindness.

Benefactor - al-Muhsin

Allah blesses everything He has created with countless blessings. He is their benefactor, their good helper and supporter. The Almighty has shown kindness and goodness to everything that He has created. Among people, a benefactor is considered to be one who performs all His actions in the best possible way. Those who wish to achieve such excellence must strive for good, since God does good. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Truly, Allah is Muhsin and loves those who do their deeds in the best possible way!”

The Giver - al-Mu'ti

No one can hide from a person what Allah gives, and no one can give a person anything that the Almighty withholds. There is no limit to what He gives, and whatever He gives reaches those He desires. He created humanity and gave it everything that is in this world and in future life. “When He desires something, then He should say: “Be!” - how it comes true.” (Quran, Surah Ya-sin, verse 82)

The Merciful, the Generous – al-Mannan

Allah is the One who graciously bestows blessings and gifts before He is asked. He shows kindness to His creatures by blessing them and providing them with everything they need. And He takes special care of His righteous believers, guiding them to true faith.

After we have reflected on the Names and Attributes of Allah associated with generosity in its many manifestations, it would be appropriate to address Him by these Names and try to perfect these attributes in our own behavior. A believer should strive to be generous, kind, or beneficent. God is generous and loves those who show generosity.

The treatment of certain diseases by reading the verses of the Koran, well known to our righteous ancestors, has been confirmed by modern science after one and a half thousand years.

Proven by science!

American doctor and Muslim scientist Ahmad al-Qadi at the Akbar clinic in Panama (Florida) conducted a special study to study the healing effects of Quranic verses read aloud on patients with stress, heart and some other diseases.

Men and women who had no idea about the Koran and did not know Arabic were selected for the study. The Arabic text of the Koran was read to them, and then its translation into English. The results of the impact of Koranic verses on patients were recorded and calculated by the most modern devices and computers. The studies were carried out for a whole year, their results were announced at the North American Islamic Medical Congress (Missouri, August 1984).

They turned out to be impressive - 97% of patients who listened to the Quran got rid of stress, and this was recorded by special devices that recorded the changes occurring in the listeners’ bodies. In particular, improvements in skin condition, heart function, temperature, etc. were recorded. The presented materials aroused interest among medical scientists and received great resonance among the public and in the media.

Another confirmation of the beneficial effects of the Koran was found by the Dutch psychologist Professor Van der Hoven. The most striking thing about this is the fact that Van der Hoven is a non-Muslim. The psychologist is interested in Islam and the Holy Quran with a purely scientific point vision. He experimentally proved the benefits of reading the Qur'an and repeating the word "Allah".

The Dutch professor confirms his discovery with data he obtained by studying a fairly large group of patients over three years. Some of them were not Muslims, and many did not even know a word of Arabic. For a certain time, they were taught to pronounce the word “Allah” correctly, in accordance with the norms of Arabic phonetics. And the result was stunning, especially for those who suffer from despondency, depression and nervous tension.

“Muslims who regularly read the Koran and are able to pronounce the sounds of Arabic correctly are greatly protected from mental and nervous illnesses by repeating only the word “God” in Arabic.

The psychologist explains how each letter in the word “Allah” plays a role in healing people with nervous and mental disorders: pronouncing the velar consonant “L” in the Arabic manner relaxes aspiration (aspiration), and “X” brings the lungs and heart into contact, which in turn controls the heartbeat.

When you pronounce the word “Allah,” lights seem to light up in the depths of your mind and subconscious, reminding a person of the Almighty. From this, the very essence of a person is saturated with the following information:

The Creator, Lord and Ruler of all things, infusing a soul into a person, endows it with an innate knowledge of divine covenants and the desire to follow the commandments, which are unusually finely woven into the body, mind and soul of a person.

It is possible that this is one of the secrets of the attractiveness and greatness of the Koran. The sound reproduction of surahs has a positive effect on the nervous system.

Some researchers have found that the Holy Quran contains over 40 verses related to medicine. Imam Shafi'i speaks about the lessons taught by Islam: "There are two classes of people without whom one cannot do: Scientists and doctors. Scientists are needed for religion, and doctors for the body." In the same place: “After the science that determines halal and haram (i.e., what is permitted and forbidden according to Sharia - editor’s note), there is no science more noble than healing” (Ibrahim Janan, Encyclopedia of Hadith Qutub-i-sitte (in Turkish. ), XI,548).

The Holy Qur'an contains important information on the subject of healing and preventive medicine.

The Koran contains information about:
- pregnancy and infertility (Holy Koran, 11:72; 19:9; 24:31,60; 65:4)
- hygiene of the menstrual period, (Holy Quran, 2:222)
- breastfeeding children (Holy Quran, 2:233; Holy Quran, 28:12)
- impossibility of pregnancy in old age (Holy Quran, 51:29)
- anatomy (Holy Quran, 7:69; 35:1)
- physiology (Holy Quran, 16:66) and
- causes and course of diseases
In particular, the Koran commands:
-bury the bodies of dead people in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases (Holy Koran, 80:21; 5:31)
- Prevent the killing of people (Holy Quran, 2:178)
And prohibits:
- kill people (Holy Koran, 17:33)
- bury girls alive (Holy Quran, 81:8-9), and also
- kill them for fear of hunger (Holy Quran, 6:151; 17:31)
- commit suicide (Holy Koran, 4:29), thus showing what exceptional importance is attached to human health and life (Dr. Karl Opitz, Medicine in the Koran, pp. 54,82-83).
It is of great importance that holy book Islam, which will accompany humanity until the Day of Judgment, talks about this.
The basis on which Islamic medicine rests is a healthy person and a healthy society. A society consisting of physically and spiritually healthy people is the main goal. The main principle is to neutralize any danger that threatens human health. This is precisely why we divide our actions in the field of medicine, as well as the products we eat, into halal and haram.

Holy Quran- source of healing
Here we must consider the first and fundamental principle of Islam - the principle of tawhid, that is, monotheism. Both healing and illness are the will of Allah, and not an accident that occurred without His will, knowledge and desire. Allah created both illness and treatment as an exam, warning, punishment, forgiveness. Even a leaf from a tree will not fall without His knowledge, so is it logical to say that diseases, epidemics affecting the lives of thousands of people whom God created as masters on Earth, occur without His knowledge? In addition, we clearly see that many verses and hadiths clearly indicate that both illness and healing from it are all from Allah.
In the Holy Qur'an, the word "healing" (shifa) is mentioned four times, the word "yashfi" - once, and the word "yashfini" - once.
1. “And We send down from the Koran that which is healing and mercy for the believers.” (Holy Koran, 17:82).
2. “O people, admonition has come to you from your Lord and healing from what is in (your) breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers” (Holy Quran, 10:57).
3. “And he will heal the chests of people who believe” (Holy Quran, 9:14).
4. “Say: “He is for those who believe - guidance and healing” (Holy Quran, 41:44)
5. “(Ibrahim), “and when I get sick, He heals me” (Holy Quran, 26:80)
6. “And your Lord inspired the bee: “Build houses in the mountains, and in the trees, and in what they build; then eat of all kinds of fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord with humility." Out of their entrails comes out a drink of different colors, in which there is healing for people. Truly, in this is a sign for people who meditate! " (Holy Quran, 16:68-69)
If we analyze the meaning of the words "shifa" and "yashfini" that are mentioned in these verses, we can see some differences.
The suras "Repentance" and "Yunus" speak of healing breasts and hearts, the suras "Night Transfer" and "Explained" speak of healing and relief for believers. In Surah "Poets" we are talking about a cure for illness, and in Surah "Bee" we are talking about the fact that honey is a medicine for people. The verses say that the Qur'an is a source of healing, but it does not clearly indicate what diseases it cures. What diseases does the Koran heal from? From physical or mental illnesses? Many scholars believe that the Quran cures both physical and mental illnesses (Mustafa Çetin, Category of Healing in the Quran (in Turkish), Journal of the Faculty of Theology University, September 9, 1992, p. 70).
In deciphering the verse “And We bring down from the Koran what is healing and mercy for believers.”, Elmaly says the following: “In this verse, the world is likened to a hospital, overflowing with various fears, illnesses, grief and sadness, the Prophet - to a doctor, and the Koran - healing medicine and adequate nutrition. Undoubtedly, the Qur'an is a mercy bestowed for the healing of such social and psychological diseases as doubt and duplicity, unbelief and quarrelsomeness, violence and disregard for the rights of one's neighbor, anger, hopelessness, unemployment, ignorance, thoughtless imitation, dishonesty, malicious intent (M.H. Yazir, Language of the Koran - Faith in God (in Turkish), 5, 317).
The Koran is a healing balm for human hearts. For it leads to faith, saving from unbelief (kufr), fills souls with joy and peace.
The Holy Quran heals not only mental and spiritual, but also physical ailments. Allah created man as a perfect being, as a combination of body and soul, and communicated to man the principles of material and spiritual life, as well as the conditions in which this life takes place. However, the Koran does not clearly define the material goods that a person needs throughout life; there are only some signs pointing to them, the solution remains up to the knowledge, skills and experience of a person. If these categories were described in detail, the Qur'an would be a book that cannot be contained in dozens of volumes (Mustafa Çetin, Category of Healing in the Qur'an (in Turkish), p. 75).
The Holy Qur'an encourages a person to think, work and research, and also stimulates the expansion of horizons of knowledge. This divine message contains about 150 verses relating to law, (When viewed less categorically, this number increases to a maximum of 450, Suat Yildirim, the Holy Quran and discoveries in the field natural sciences(in Turkish), Ankara, 1990, p. 7), and more than 750 ayets on natural history topics. These provisions cannot be ignored (Tantawi, al-Jawahir fi tafsiri "l-Qur"an (in Arabic), Cairo, 1350/1931, III, 1).
The Holy Quran pays great attention to hygiene and human health. (Holy Quran, 5:5-6; Covered with a Cloak, 4) Pointing to the need balanced nutrition, The Koran warns against overeating, unbalanced nutrition and wastefulness. (Holy Quran, 6:141; 7:31) Some food products. For example, animal products such as meat (Holy Koran, 2:57; 11:69; 36:71-72) fish (Holy Koran, 35:12; 18:61, 63) and milk (Holy Koran , 16:66; 36:73), as well as products of plant origin: dates, grapes, wheat, pomegranate, (Holy Koran, 6:99) vegetables, garlic, onions, lentils, (Holy Koran, 2:61) figs and olives (Holy Koran, 95:1). The Koran, which talks about healing properties honey (Holy Koran, 16:69), draws attention to its medicinal qualities.

Physical and Spiritual Healing in the Holy Quran
The Holy Quran divides healing into two types:
1. Spiritual healing
The Holy Qur'an is itself a source of healing. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in one of the hadiths says that the Koran and honey are medicines (Ibn Majah, Tyb (Medicine), 7), and in another hadith he indicates that the best remedy for healing is the Koran ( Ibn Majah, Tyb, 28).
However, there are a number of conditions that must be met in order to benefit from the healing properties contained in the Quran. This:
a. First of all, a person has a strong faith in Allah, who revealed the Quran
b. To the same extent, faith is that Allah will give healing to the suffering person. At the same time, a person must sincerely believe in the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and in the truths that He taught to people - such as, for example, that the Koran is spiritual healing. Otherwise, a person will not be able to benefit from the healing qualities of the Quran. Depending on their views on the Koran, people are divided into two groups:
The first group is those who deny the Koran and do not have the opportunity to take advantage of its qualities. The following verses indicate them: Woe to every liar and sinner!
“He listens to the signs of Allah read to him, and then persists, rising up, as if he had not heard them. Please him with the news of a painful punishment!” (Holy Quran, 45:7-8), “And We send down from the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers. But for the unrighteous it only increases the loss.” (Holy Quran, 17:82)
The second group is People who accept the Koran; as they read, their faith increases each time. Many ayets point to them, including this one:
“The believers are only those whose hearts fear when they remember Allah; and when His signs are read to them, they increase their faith, and they rely on their Lord” (Holy Quran, 8:2) (M. Mahmud Abdullah, at -Tibbu "l-Kur"ani bayna"d-Dawa wa"l Gada (in Arabic), Cairo, p.13).
The Qur'an indicates two ways to cure spiritual illnesses, i.e. and diseases of the soul there are two types:
The first type is unbelief, perverted faith, superstition, heresy. This type includes misconceptions, superstitions and disbelief in such basic tenets as the creation and purpose of man, fate and the prophets. In these cases, any discrepancy with the norms of Islam, any belief is a spiritual disease. The Koran, with its truths, points out the perversity of superstitions and protects those who believe in it from unbelief and heresy.
The second type is a bad, malicious character. The Holy Qur'an explains this concept and also warns believers not to fall into evil intentions and shows the path to spiritual perfection and purity of thoughts.
By saying “I have come to complete Makarim-i Akhlaq” 1, the Prophet implies the Ethics of the Quran (Janan, i.e., XI, 333).

2. Physical healing
It cannot be denied in any way that the Holy Quran is a source of healing for physical diseases as well. Physical healing through the Koran is the use of those means that are indicated in it. The Almighty Lord, who created man as master of the earth and created all things in such a way that they were placed at the service of man, calls on people to take advantage of these means. For example, water, milk, honey, meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. mentioned in the Koran - all this was created for the benefit of man, everything was placed at his disposal. A person can conduct research to find out how to apply all these benefits for the purpose of healing.
In particular, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) performed ruqya 2 with the help of the Koran and called on his companions to use the healing properties of the Koran to heal bodily diseases. Ruqya is healing through prayer and seeking help from the Almighty Creator. Islamic theologians, relying on a lot of evidence contained in the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), talk about the permissibility and complete legality of “ruqya”. In the process of treatment, one of the clearest provisions of spiritual healing, the Holy Quran is given an exclusive place. Some hadiths even say that not seeking healing in the Quran is a lack of faith: “And whoever does not ask for healing from the Quran, Allah does not heal him.” This hadith can be interpreted as follows: “May Allah not heal the one who does not ask for healing from the Koran” (Janan, i.e., XI, 333).
Here is one example of reading the Koran for the purpose of healing physical ailments, given by one of the Prophet’s companions:
Abu Said al-Khudri said: “We were making a journey on which the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) sent us. We made a stop. A woman servant turned to us: “Our master Selim was bitten by a poisonous animal. Now there are no men who could examine him. Is there anyone among you who knows how to perform ruqya?" After this, one of us, whose abilities we did not know, stood up, followed the maid and read a prayer over the bitten man. He recovered. The one who read it was given thirty sheep. He gave water to us with milk. We asked: “Do you know ruqya?” He replied: “No, I just read Surah Fatihah and thus performed ruqya.” We told him: “Do not touch (the gifts that were brought to you) without asking the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)!” Arriving in Medina, we told the Prophet about what had happened. The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Who told you that Fatihah is ruqya and can be read for the purpose of healing? Divide the sheep you received and give me my share” (Bukhari, Tyb, 33.39, Fadailu "l-Qur"an 9; Muslim, Salam 66;).

Rukya
One can give a huge number of examples of how, with the help of “ruqya” - healing by prayer and turning to Allah for help - they were cured of illnesses and relieved of troubles. There is a lot of evidence for this. In the Holy Qur'an, God says:
“Whoever believes in the signs of their Lord” (Holy Quran, 40:60) and:
Also saying: “Say: “Allah would not have cared about you if it were not for your appeal. You declared it a lie, and now it will be inevitable for you” (Holy Koran, 25:77), He calls us to prayer.
The word “prayer” means “to ask from Allah,” that is, it itself contains a call to turn to Allah, who heals from all diseases. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) clearly calls us to ask the Lord for healing, giving clear examples of this (see the chapters “Prayer/Prayers” in the books of Hadith). Medical research conducted in Lately, indicate the same thing. For example, laureate Nobel Prize in the field of medicine, the French professor Alexis Carrel wrote in his work “Prayer”: “ Internal organs people work best during prayer and religious rituals. My opponents can refute this as much as they like. But I witnessed how many patients who could not be cured with the usual medical supplies, recovered with the help of prayer" (On the impact of faith on physical and spiritual health - see: Mazhar Osman Uzman, "Tababet-i Ruhiye"; Alexis Carrel, "Prayer".).

2 Ruqya: Healing through prayer is called ruqya. Ruqya is sent by reciting a combination of blessed words from verses or hadiths. Healing by reading prayers has long been known to mankind. At first, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) forbade ruqya because the words used during times of ignorance contradicted the concept of tawhid that Islam brought, as well as the elements of shirk-polytheism. "Rukya" was banned to eliminate errors of this kind. The Messenger of Allah sometimes himself prayed for the sick. After listening to those who performed the ruqya ritual, he allowed them to perform ruqya, in which there is nothing contrary to tawhid.
Ibn Hajar al-Askalani speaks about the qualities that the ruqyah ritual must be endowed with in order for it to be permissible:
a) the ritual must contain the words of Almighty Allah (verses), His names and attributes;
b) must be done on Arabic or any other, but in an understandable form;
c) the ritual must be performed with the understanding that it is not the ritual itself that will bring benefit, but the intended help will be sent by Almighty Allah. (Fathul-Bari, X, 206).
Ruqya is divided into three types: mubah, haram and shirk.
1- Mubah ruqya: Ruqya is mubah provided that the ritual is performed with the mention of the verses of Allah, His names and attributes, in Arabic in an understandable form. They say that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) read Muavwizatain (Holy Quran, suras 113,114.) for the sick, “removed” right hand and read after them: “O Allah, Lord of people, cure his illness, heal him. Only You heal. No one but You can heal. Give healing that does not leave the disease.” Bukhari, Tyb, 37).
There are many hadiths that are similar in content.
Some scholars have come to the conclusion that ruqya cannot be allowed except in cases of the evil eye and attacks by snakes and scorpions, based on the words of the Prophet (pbuh): “There is no ruqya except the evil eye and fever” (Bukhari, Tyb, 17) . However, another group of scholars responded with the comparison “There is no sword except Zulfiqar,” hinting that in this case it would not be used where it is most useful. Because in other hadiths it was clearly indicated that the Prophet (pbuh) allowed ruqya to be performed in other cases.
2- Ruqya, which is haram: Performing “ruqya” by uttering incomprehensible words, meaningless syllables, unknown names, while knowing Arabic - performing the ritual in another language, using salt and iron, by tying knots is recognized as haram. This does not include methods whose usefulness has been proven by experience. When al-Izz bin Abdulsalam was asked about ruqya by pronouncing unknown letters and syllables, he was unable to answer the question because he did not know whether they contained meanings leading to kufr.
3- Ruqya, which is shirk: Performing “ruqya” by praying to someone other than Almighty Allah, asking for help from angels, prophets, jinn, etc., is shirk.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says: “There is no harm in performing ruqya with something that is not shirk.” (Muslim, Salam, 64). Ibn Hajar explains this question this way: “In some ruqya there is no shirk. For those who perform the ritual do not turn to anyone other than Allah in order to relieve harm and bring benefit.” (Ibn Hajar al-Askalani, Fathul-Bari, X, 260).

Treatment with verses of the Koran, prayers and spells

Treatment with verses of the Qur'an, supplications (du'a) and incantations or spells (ruqiya) is without a doubt permissible. This is confirmed by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Quran says: “Say that it (the Quran) is for those who believe, a guide and a cure” (41:44), another verse states: “And We have sent down from the Quran that which is a cure and a mercy for the believers.” (17:82), and also: “O people! Verily there has come to you guidance from your Lord and a cure for what is in your breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers” (10:57).

As for the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), in each collection of hadiths there are parts and chapters devoted to treatment with verses, supplications (du'a) and incantations (ruqiya).

So, for example, in “Sahih” al-Bukhari there are chapters called “Healing with the help of the Koran and surah al-Muawazat” (i.e., the last two), “Healing with surah al-Fatihah,” the chapter of the conspiracies of the Prophet ( peace and blessings be upon him). Contains similar parts of the “Sahih” of Muslim, for example: “Healing the sick with the help of surahs “al-Ikhlas”, “al-Falyak”, “al-Nas” and blowing”, “The patient and healing with spells”, in the “Sunans” of Abu -Dauda and at-Tirmidhi also provide information about what is conveyed in hadiths about healing with spells.

In addition, today a very well-known book by Said ibn Ali al-Qahtani, completely devoted to this topic, called “al-Ilaju bir-ruqiya minal-Kitabi us-Sunnah” (Treatment with spells from the Book and Sunnah). Also, the 75th part of the book “al-Itkan fi ulum il-Kuran” by Jalal ud-din al-Suyuti is devoted to treatment with the help of verses, du’a and ruqyah.

Regarding treatment with the Koran and du'a, in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), in particular, it is said: “The best cure is the Koran” (Ibn Majah). In another hadith, when asked whether it is possible to heal with spells, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ) replied: “Whoever of you can be useful to his brother, let him do so” (Muslim, Sahih, Ibn Hibban, al-Hakim). Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) also reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) blew while reading the conspiracy, thus healing the sick (narrated by Ibn Majah).

Although among scholars, as reported by Imam al-Qurtubi, there are those who do not allow treatment with spells, based on hadiths prohibiting the use of ruqyah and wearing talismans, as well as on a long hadith about seventy thousand entering Paradise from our ummah (al -Bukhari), the famous theologian Ibn Hajar al-Askalani in the book “Fath ul-Bari” explains in detail that in all these hadiths, the forbidden means healing with spells and wearing talismans, which were used during the days of jahiliyya. This is also evidenced by the hadith, which says: “Treatment with spells is not blameworthy if it is not shirk” (Muslim, Abu Dawood, Sunan).

In accordance with this hadith, it is prohibited to treat with spells in which the complicity (shirk) of someone or something, in essence, properties and deeds, is attributed to Allah Almighty. It is also unacceptable to use ruqya, the meaning of which is not clear, as well as wearing talismans in which incomprehensible words, letters, numbers are written, various shapes and so on.

The hadith says: “The angel Jibril (peace be upon him) appeared to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: “Are you sick?” He replied that yes. To this Jibril (peace be upon him) said: “In the name of Allah I conjure you from every thing that harms you, from the evil of every soul or from the evil eye of an envious person, Allah will heal you. In the name of Allah I conjure you."

In addition, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to ask for healing with the help of spells against the evil eye (al-ain) (al-Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Hibban). At-Tirmidhi also reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), referring to Ibrahim (peace be upon him), asked the Almighty to protect Hassan and Hussein (may Allah be pleased with them).

In this regard, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote the spell of Jibril (peace be upon him) and hung it on the necks of small children, and asked those who already knew how to speak to memorize these ruqyas.

And Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), in turn, advised writing verses from the Koran, putting them in water, and then giving it to a woman who was having a hard time giving birth, and also washing her with this water. Commenting on this, Mujahid said: “There is nothing reprehensible in writing verses from the Koran on something, then putting it in water so that the sick person washes and drinks it” (Ibn ul-Qayyim).

The Holy Quran is a cure for all types of diseases. His verses cure spiritual, mental, heart and physical ailments. They help when conventional medicine is powerless.

Treatment with supplications (dua) and spells (ruqiya), confirmed by the Sunnah, is also very useful. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said in one hadith: “Prayer (du’a) helps from what has already descended and from what is yet to come. O servants of Allah, be sure to call upon Him" (at-Tirmidhi, al-Hakim, Ahmad).

Ayahs, prayers (du "a) and spells (ruqiya) are used both after the onset of the disease and for prevention. For example, al-Bukhari, from the words of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), reports that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him ) every time before going to bed, he sat down, raised his joined palms to chest level and read surahs “al-Ikhlas”, “al-Falyak” and “an-Nas”. Then he blew into his hands and ran his palms first over the head, and then over the all over the body.” He repeated this three times.

And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was seized by an illness from which he was later to die, he asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to read certain surahs and then blow on him. And, as reported in the continuation of this hadith, she also wiped the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with his own hand, since there was grace (barakat) in it.

In this regard, al-Bukhari cites the explanation of Ibn Hisham az-Zuhri to the question of how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) blew during treatment. “First He blew into the hands, and then anointed the face,” answered the scientist.

Jurists consider healing with spells (ruqiyah) to be permissible under the following conditions:
- Treatment with spells must be with the help of the Koran, properties (syfat) and beautiful names of Allah Almighty, and also confirmed by the Sunnah.
- Rukia can be in any language, provided that the meaning of the spoken words is clear.
- Treatment with spells must be performed with faith and conviction that only Allah Almighty gives healing, and any procedures are in fact only the reason for this (Ibn Hajar “Fath ul-Bari”).

It should also be noted that for the full effect of the spells, the patient and the healer must completely rely only on the help of Allah and believe that the Koran is a medicine and mercy for believers. In addition, the healer must be particularly pious and religiously literate.

On this occasion, Ibn ut-Tin said: “Treatment with the surahs al-Muawazat and the names of Allah is spiritual medicine. Therefore, if the righteous of His creations use it, then, undoubtedly, there will be healing with the permission of Allah Almighty” (Ibn Hajar “Fat khul-Bari").

Also, according to the Sunnah, the doctor has the right to charge for treatment and even set his own conditions before the start of the procedures. Imam Muslim devoted part of his Sahih to this topic, entitled “Chapter on the permissibility of charging for treatment with spells from the Koran and through the remembrance of Allah (dhikr).”

Scientists argue for the permissibility of this with the well-known long hadith, which says that one of the companions cured the head of the Bedouin tribe with the help of Surah al-Fatiha, for which he was thanked with a sheep. Upon learning of this, other companions condemned charging for reciting the Qur'an, saying that they would not eat the meat of this animal until they had clarified everything with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). To this he replied: “Truly, the most worthy thing for which you take payment is the Koran” (al-Bukhari, Muslim).

A well-known scientist in the field of biogeometry, who developed patents developing this science, Doctor of the Swiss University Ibrahim Karim, made the discovery that the beautiful names of Allah have a special power (energy) that, through subtle invisible processes occurring inside the human body, heals a large number of diseases.

He discovered that each of the beautiful names of Allah has such a power that makes it work immune system much more effective in a specific organ of the human body. In accordance with resonance (the science of sounds), he was able to discover that just the mention of one name from the names of Allah leads to an improvement in the movement of energy flows in the body.

Language meaning:
Word "shifa"in Arabic it meansrecovery from illness . Arabs say: “Shafahu Allahu, yushfihi shifaan.” Allah healed him. Also in a word"shifa"they call something that is used to treat a disease, with the permission of Allah. For example they say:"Ashfahu Allahu asalyan" Allah healed him with honey. Word"istashfa"means demanding recovery.

This is the name in the Sunnah:
Note
the presence of the beautiful name “Ash-Shafi” is contained in Allah in the sunnah
the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Aisha, may he be pleased
Allah said that when the Messenger of Allah, may he bless him
Allah welcomes, visited a sick person or when a sick person was brought to
to him, he said:

(أَذْهِبِ الباس ربَّ الناس ، اشفِ وأنت الشافي ، لا شفاء إلا شِفاؤُك ، شفاءً لا يُغادِرُ سَقَمًا)

this disease, Lord of people, heal! You are the Healer, there is no healing,
except Your healing, (heal so that after this) there will be no
illnesses!

The meaning of this name in relation to Allah is:
Al-Halimi said: It is permissible to speak in du'a:Ya Shafi (O Healing One) . So
how Allah heals hearts from doubts, envy, diseases in the heart. And no one
is not capable of this except Him. And it is not permissible to appeal to anyone with this
name other than Him.

Traces of faith in this beautiful name:
1 - There is no Healer except Allah.
Cure
from diseases is not related to the doctor and his experience, or the medicine and his
force, however, this happens with the permission of Allah alone. The reason for this
are the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):“Heal! You are the Healer, there is no healing except Your healing.”
This was also pointed out by Jibril, peace be upon him, when he visited the prophet, yes
Allah bless him and greet him during his illness. Abu Said
Al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, said: One day Jibril, peace
him, came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and
asked: “O Muhammad, are you sick? He, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:Yes. Then Jibril said:

بِسْم اللهِ أرْقِيكَ من كلِّ شيءٍ يؤذيك ، ومن شر كل نفس أو عين حاسدٍ ، الله يَشْفِيك ، بسم اللَّه أرقيك

"In the name
I conjure you from Allah from everything that causes you torment, from evil
any soul and from the evil eye of the envious! May Allah heal you in the name of
I conjure you to Allah!

Jibril is the best
created doctors. Because he treated through revelations. And I was sick
the best of people and the most good in body and soul, i.e. Messenger of Allah, yes
Allah bless him and greet him and the medicine was the best
medicine, because it was a spell with the name of Healing Allah. AND
despite all this, Jibril renounced his strength and power, giving
all the strength and might of Allah. He said:"May Allah heal you" Those. a spell on my part, but the healing is entirely from Allah.
Also
Allah Almighty showed His generosity to His prophet Isa, peace be upon him, thus
that he treated the sick, restored sight to the blind, cured leprosy and even
revived the dead. However, all this was with the permission of Allah. And about this
The prophet of God himself said, Isa, peace be upon him:

وَأُبْرِئُ الأَكْمَهَ وَالأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ

I will heal the blind (or deprived of sight from birth; or having
weak eyesight) and the leper and I will raise the dead by Allah's permission.
(Surah al-Imran, verse 49)

Also came in the authentic Sunnahthe story of the people of the ditch, when one of the king's blind advisors turned toto a believing boy with gifts, saying:Everything that is here will be yours if you cure me. To which the boy replied:I do not heal anyone, truly, only Allah can heal.”
Therefore, a huge mistake and damage to faith are the words of a person:“If it weren’t for such and such a doctor, I would not have been cured,” or “If it weren’t for such and such medications, I would not have recovered.”
After all reasons by themselves do nothing. They work only with permission
Allah and His decree. For He is the Creator of these causes, and
To those who predestine them. If any disease appears, it is with
the permission of Allah, and, accordingly, treatment and medicines come only with
permission of Allah. As the Messenger of Allah, may he bless him, said
Allah welcomes:“For every disease there is a cure, and if the medicine matches the disease, there will be a cure by Allah’s permission.”
How many different sick people were healed with the permission of Allah after
doctors declared themselves powerless in the face of their illnesses. How often do doctors
they themselves suffer from the same diseases for which they treat people and have even died from
them, and no one could help them.

2 - Disease is one of the warriors of Allah.
Almighty Allah created His creatures fit for worship. Made their bodies
healthy for this purpose, showed them a huge number of obvious mercies and
hidden so that they show gratitude. And if they obey Him,
He adds His mercies to them, and if they show disobedience, He
punishes them, as He said in the Qur'an:

لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ

Your Lord declared: “If you are grateful, I will give you more
big. And if you are ungrateful, then the torment from Me will be severe.”
(Sura Ibrahim, verse 7)

From what the Almighty made the causefor punishment and reward it is a disease. After all, the disease can bea reason for forgiveness of sins, and even entry into heaven. And it could also bepunishment in this world for anyone who disobeys Allah, not to mentionthat what will await him in the next world.
Firstly, illness is a mercy of Allah towards believers.
Truly, Allah shows mercy to His believing servants by forgiving them according to it.
cause of their sin, raises their degree, introduces them to Paradise.
1 – Forgiveness of sins.
Abu Said Al-Khudri and Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with them, said:
What"What
would not befall a Muslim, be it fatigue, long illness,
anxiety, sadness, trouble, sorrow (or) even a prick of a thorn, Allah
will certainly forgive him for this some of his sins.”

Also Ibn Masud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: (Once) I went to
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, suffered from(severe) fever, and said to him:“O Messenger of Allah, what a severe fever you have!” He said: “Yes, and my fever (brings me twice as much suffering as) any of you.” I asked: “Is it because you are destined for a double reward?” He said: "Yes it is" . He said (also):“Any Muslim who is pricked by a thorn or suffers something worse than this, Allah will certainly forgive his bad deeds for this, and he will be freed from his sins, just as a tree is freed from its leaves.”

2 – Desire for the good of Your servant.
In the Sahih of Imam al-Bukhari, there is a hadith in which it is said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):“The one for whom Allah wishes good will befall one of these (illnesses).” al-Bukhari 5645.

3 – Rescue from fire.
Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, said that one day
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, visited
together with Abu Hurayrah the patient. And the Messenger of Allah, may he bless him
Allah welcomes said: Rejoice, verily Allah said:“My fire, which I send to My slaves in this life, so that it will be a replacement for him from the next world”

4 – Allah is with the sick.
Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Verily,Allah will say on the Day of Judgment:O son of Adam, why did you not visit Me when I was sick? to which he will say:O Lord, how can I visit You, because You are the Lord of the Worlds, to which Allah will answer him:Didn't you know that one of My servants fell ill and did not visit him? Is it possible
you do not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me with him.”

5 – Entering Paradise.
Anas, May Allah be pleased with him, I said, I heard the Messenger of Allah,
may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Verily, the Almightyand the Great Allah said:“If I put My servant to the test (by depriving him) of his two loved ones, and he begins to show patience, then Paradise will be his compensation from Me.” By favorite we mean the eyes.
Ata bin Abi Rabah, may Allah have mercy on him, said that one day Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said to me:“Should I show you a woman from the inhabitants of Paradise? To which I replied:Certainly! Then he said: One day this dark-skinned woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said:I have epilepsy and I am naked, ask Allah for me. To which the prophet said to her:If you want, then be patient and you will have Paradise, and if you want, I will ask Allah for you to heal you.” . Then she said:I will endure, but I am exposing myself, so ask Allah that I do not expose myself. And he asked for her"

6 – Height of degree in Paradise.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“When Allah ordains His slave a high position, which he cannot achieve by his own deeds, Allah tests him with something in his body, or in his child, or in his property. After which he grants him patience until he reaches the high position that Allah, Holy and Great, has predetermined for him.”

7 – Heaven is in visiting the sick.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:“Whatever believer does not visit a sick person in the morning, seventy thousand angels ask for forgiveness for him until the evening, and if he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels ask for forgiveness for him until the morning comes, and he will have a garden in Paradise.”

8 – Of the sick, there are those who will receive a martyr’s reward.
Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:“Plague is a shahada for every Muslim”
Also Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:“There are five martyrs: the one who died from a stomach illness, from the plague, drowned, died under the ruins, and the one who died in the path of Allah.”
Jabir bin Atik, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the MessengerAllah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:“Shahadah, besides death in the path of Allah, is of seven types. The one who died from a stomach disease is a shahid, the one who drowned is a shahid, the one who died from pleurisy is a shahid, the one who died from plague is a shahid, the one who died from a fire is a shahid, the one who died under the ruins is a shahid and the woman who died from pregnancy is a shahid.”

Secondly, illness can serve as a punishment for those who disobey Allah and His Messenger.
Indeed, Allah Almighty punishes those who disobey, and one of the punishments is illness. The Almighty says:

مَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ

He who does evil will receive retribution for it. (Surah an-Nisa, verse 123)
Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, once asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:How can you succeed after this verse? Will we be rewarded for every evil we have done? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:May Allah forgive you, O Abu Bakr, aren’t you sick? Aren't you getting tired? Aren't you facing difficulties? He replied: Certainly! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:This is the reward for this (i.e. evil).
In Sharia, there are arguments for why Allah punishes people with illnesses.

1 – Spread of debauchery and obscenity.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“In whatever nation open debauchery spreads, diseases will certainly appear among them that did not exist in those who came before them...”

2 – Dua of the oppressed.
One one of the greatest reasons for which diseases are sent is dua
oppressed so that Allah will punish the one who has done evil to this oppressed.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:“Fear the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no curtain between it and Allah.”
One day, one woman stated that Saeed bin Zayed bin Nawfal, may there beAllah is pleased with him; he unjustly encroached on part of her land. And Said said: O Allah, if she is lying, then blind her and kill her on her own land." And Urwa bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, said thatshe became blind, and one day, when she was walking along her land, she fell into a hole and died.”
The Muslim version says:“She was seen walking blindly along the walls, and she said: The dua of Said has befallen me. And one day she passed next to a well on her land, over which she was arguing, and fell into it, and it became her grave.”

Also, Allah Almighty punished some unbelievers and sinners with diseases, including:

1 - Abu Lahyab, may Allah curse him
Allah Almighty revealed Surah Al-Masad about him:

تَبَّتْ
(1) (1) بَ
(2) سَيَصْلَى نَاراً ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ (3) الْحَط َبِ
(4) جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ (5

May the hands of Abu Lahab be lost, and may he himself be lost. His wealth and what he acquired (position in society and children) did not save him. He will fall into the fiery Fire. His wife will carry firewood, and around her neck she will have a braided rope made of palm fibers. (Surah al-Masad, verse 1-5)
Allah Almighty sent down a terrible illness on him, and this happened on the day of the defeat of the polytheists in Badr. As soon as the news of the defeat of his people reached him, he immediately fell ill with this disease and died a terrible death. Even his relatives could not wash him. They poured water on him from a long distance because of the terrible stench that came from him.
decomposed body.

2 - Asuad bin Abdu Yagus
He was one of those who mocked Islam. When he passed next to the poor Muslims, he said to his friends: These are the kings of the earth who will inherit the kingdom of Kesra. And when he passed next to the prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, he said: Didn't anyone speak to you from heaven today, O Muhammad?
One day, this enemy of Allah left the house and was struck by poison, which turned his face black. And he fell ill with a terrible disease, from which his whole body was filled with pus and he died from it.

3 – Ghulam Ahmad Al-Qidyani
He claimed to be a prophet. And not only that, he began to condemn and vilify real prophets. And he raised himself above their level, and raised a lie against Allah and His messengers. And his punishment was in accordance with his deeds. He fell ill with cholera and his body became weak. He relieved himself right in his bed, even najas came out of his mouth. His father-in-law said: When his illness became more severe, they woke me up and went to him, and saw that he was suffering from pain. And he turned to me with the words: I'm sick
cholera, and after that he didn’t say anything until he died.”

4 – Of the inhabitants of Hell, there will be those who will be punished with diseases.
There will be those who will be led into Hell blind and deaf. On the Day of Judgment they will become deaf, blind, and dumb. The Almighty says:

On the Day of Resurrection We will gather them prone, blind, dumb,
deaf. Their refuge will be Gehenna. As soon as it subsides, we
add flame to them. (Surah al-Isra, verse 97)

5 - Mourners of the Dead
Abu Malik Al-Ashari, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Naiha (who mourns the deceased), if she does not repent before death, will be resurrected on the day of judgment and will wear a shirt made of molten copper and chain mail made of jarab (a disease that causes the skin to separate from the body).

3 - Heal yourself, O servants of Allah!
Verily, Allah is the Healer. He established the cure in the causes that
sent down and ordered His prophet to be treated by them and other legalized
reasons.
Osama bin Shurayk, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
Once I was with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the Bedouins came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, should we be treated? To which he answered them: “Yes, O servants of Allah, be treated, because the Almighty did not create a disease without creating a cure for it, except for one disease. They said: And what kind of disease is this? He said: "Old age"
Taking reasons for curing illnesses does not contradict hope, and is even one of the wonderful manifestations of trust in Allah and from the fullness of monotheism. After all, a person, taking a reason, knows that this reason does neither harm nor good, except with the permission of Allah, and it cannot reject something from the predestination of Allah.

4 - Do not be treated with forbidden things!
Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily, Allah created diseases and medicines, and therefore be treated, but do not be treated forbidden.”
Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, once made a drink from fruits by fermentation. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her and saw what she was doing and asked: What is this? She answered: So-and-so got sick and was prescribed this. After which he kicked the vessel and broke it, saying: Verily, Allah has not made any treatment forbidden."
Ibn Masud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Indeed, Allah has not cured for you what He has forbidden for you.”
One day, a man came to Ibn Masud, may Allah be pleased with him, and said: My brother is complaining about his stomach and he was told to drink wine, should I give him something to drink? To which Ibn Masud replied: Subhanallah! Allah did not cure the defilement! The cure is in two things: In honey, which is a cure for people, and the Quran, which is a cure for what is in the hearts!

There is no one like Him in Healing:
1 - The power of Allah is in healing.
Anyone who recovered, recovered because of a doctor or someone else, it was all because of taking medicine or something else. And no one can claim to have healed a sick person without a reason. As for Allah Almighty, He is powerful to heal with His power without any reason. Therefore, the attribute of healing from Allah Almighty is an attribute of action and is not a cause.

2 - Allah knows both about diseases and what cures it.
The more a doctor understands and gains knowledge about the art of medicine, the more
he learns more about diseases and their causes. And, accordingly, about medications and treatment. One of the doctors may know more than another, and surpass him, however, this question is relative in creatures. He may know something that others do not know, and not know what others know. And even if he is superior to others in something, this does not mean that he has learned all the intricacies of this issue. He may know the disease and its causes, but not know the cure for it. And even if he finds out about the medicine, the healing is still not in his hands.
As for Allah Almighty, He knows both about diseases and the cure for them, in general and in detail. Since He is the Creator of our bodies, He controls them, creates diseases, and is powerful to protect from the harm of these diseases.
As Ibrahim, peace be upon him, said:

(78) وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي و (79) وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ

He is the One who created me and guides me on the straight path, He is the One who feeds me and
gives water, He is the One who heals me when I am sick. (Surah al-Shu'ara, verse
78-80)

3 - Side effects and excess dose.
Anyone who treats or prescribes medicine to a patient mainly relies on guesswork. That is, this medicine should most likely help. However, he cannot guarantee a person one hundred percent that he will not side effects from this medicine.
There is also excess in the dose of this medicine. Sometimes, as we all know, the cure can be worse than the disease itself. And all people know this. They even write about it themselves
pharmacists in the instructions for medications.
As for Allah, He is holy and great, He is powerful to give complete recovery without leaving behind the consequences of the disease and side effects. As the messenger said
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: Remove this disease, Lord of people, and heal! You are the Healer, there is no healing except Your healing, (heal so that after this) there will be no disease left!

Healing can be one of the following types of testing:
As the Almighty said:

وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً

We test you with good and evil for the sake of testing. (Surah al-Anbiya, verse 35)
Indeed, healing is one of the favors of Allah, which He bestows on us to test whether we will be grateful or ungrateful. As it is stated in the hadith, which is reported from the words of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: “[Once] Allah wanted to test three of the Israelites: a leper , bald and blind, and
sent an angel to them, who appeared to the leper and asked: [He] said: “Good color, good skin, and so that the things that make people hate me go away.” .
Then the angel passed over him [with his hand, after which] what disgusted him disappeared, and he was endowed with a beautiful color and good skin.
[Then the angel] asked: [He] said: “Camels” , and he was given a pregnant camel, [after which the angel] said: “May Allah make it a blessing for you.” [Then the angel] appeared to the bald man and asked: “What do you want most?” [He] said: “Beautiful hair and let go of what makes people disgusted with me.”
Then [the angel] passed over him [with his hand, after which that which disgusted him] disappeared, and he was endowed with beautiful hair. [Then the angel] asked: “Which property do you like best?” [He] said: "Cows" , and he was given a pregnant cow, [after which the angel] said: “May Allah make it a blessing for you” . Then [the angel] appeared to the blind man and asked: “What do you want most?” [He] said: “So that Allah restores my sight and I see people” . Then the angel passed over it [with his hand], and Allah restored his sight. [Then the angel] asked: “Which property do you like best?” [He] said: "Sheep", and he was given a pregnant sheep. And after that [a camel and a cow] gave birth, and [a sheep] gave birth, and after a while] [one of them] already had a whole valley of camels, [another] had a whole valley of cows, and the third had a whole valley of sheep . And then [the angel] appeared to the [former] leper, taking on his [former] appearance, and said [to him]: “[I am] a poor man. On the way, I lost all my means, and I have no one to turn to today except Almighty and Great Allah, and after [Him] - to you. I conjure you by the One who gave you good color, good skin and wealth, [give me] a camel with which I can complete my journey!” [In response, this man] said: “[I have] a lot of debt” . [Then the angel] said to him: “I think I know you. Were you not the leper to whom people were disgusted? [And were you not] a poor man to whom Allah gave [wealth]?” [This person] said: “Verily, I inherited this wealth only from [my ancestors].” [Then the angel] said:
Then [the angel] appeared to [the one who was previously] bald, taking on an appearance similar to his [former] appearance, and told him the same thing that he had told [the former leper, when] he gave him the same answer, [the angel] said: “If you lied, may Allah make you [the same as] you were!” And [then the angel] appeared to the [former] blind man, taking on an appearance similar to his [former] appearance, and said to him: “[I am] a poor traveler. I have lost all my means during my journey, and I have no one to turn to today except Allah, and after [Him] - to you. I conjure you, by the One who restored your sight, [give me one] sheep, which will be enough for me to complete my journey!” [The former blind man] said:
“I was [truly] blind, and Allah restored my sight. Take what you want and leave what you want, and I swear by Allah, no matter what you take, for the sake of Allah Almighty today I will not burden you with anything!”
[Then the angel] said: “Leave
own your property, for, truly, you were only put to the test, and Allah was pleased with you, but He was angry with your two companions [in misfortune].”

In this case, not one will be able to resist him.
