TES V: Skyrim - Stop Skooma Trading (Walkthrough). TES V: Skyrim - Stop Skooma Trading (Walkthrough) Skyrim Jarl Riften does not give a task

Skyrim is located in the northern part of Tamriel, and is divided into possessions. At the head of each possession is a jarl, the highest state person. His confidants and confidants are the Tans, those people who in one way or another served for the good of the "fatherland", earned universal respect and became heroes. The title of thane in TES5 allows you to have a bodyguard-squire (huscarla), buy houses and land to build estates, evade fines for breaking the law - theft, burglaries, attacks. The title does not extend beyond the possession in which it was acquired. You will have to work hard to become a Thane in all the domains of Skyrim. Career advancement begins with helping the residents of the city and completing special tasks received from the Jarl himself or his assistant. When all the conditions are met, you need to report to the Jarl's house, usually the largest civilian building in the city, and report on your deeds. He, having estimated the merits, will award the title of thana and give out all due awards. From this point on, you can start thinking about and, which will open up new possibilities and add variety to the gameplay. The dedication does not always occur immediately, if the required line is not in the dialogue, you should raise the level of the character or go through the game further along the plot.

It is advisable to complete the tasks for obtaining the titles of the Than before the end of the civil war, otherwise difficulties may arise. You can buy a house and complete some tasks after declaring a short truce with the exchange of cities between the warring parties - the Imperial Legion and the Stormcloaks. A truce will be announced at the Temple of the Greybeards on High Hrothgar, prior to the battle with the dragon Alduin.

The popular game Skyrim opens up great opportunities for playing the role of a warrior, magician or robber in a country that has an atmosphere reminiscent of Norway in the days of the Vikings. Many elements of Viking life were taken from real story and introduced into the game to make it as interesting as possible.

In addition to this, there are also Jarls in the game who rule over parts of the country. Any player can become a confidant of the Jarl, that is, receive the title "Tan". However, not every gamer, having started playing this game for the first time, knows how to become a tan.

How you can become a Thane in Skyrim

The country where the game takes place is divided into several regions, each of which has its own city where the jarl sits. To receive the title of Thane, you need to come, ride a horse or cart to any main city of any region and go directly to the Jarl. After talking with the jarl, you can get a task for help local residents... After completing it, you again talk to the Jarl and receive the coveted title.

Most of the quests are very simple, so they will not be difficult for the gamer. Usually the jarl asks to complete some interesting quest and help three more residents with their problems. Quests are always tied to the problems of a particular region. It could be the illegal skoom trade in Riften or the dragon in Whiterun.

After the quest " Civil War»The player may have to re-confirm their thane title in the quest regions.

Why do you need the title of Thane

In addition to the fact that you will receive a significant title at the court of the Jarl, the title of Thane also gives some special advantages:

  • After assigning the title of Thane, the Jarl will grant you an enchanted weapon that you can use or sell. The enchantment is absolutely random and varied, so you can save and load again before that if the enchantment on the weapon does not suit you.
  • After receiving the title, the player will be able to freely move around the castle or the jarl's house and touch things that were previously protected from theft.
  • If you have the official Hearthfire house building add-on installed, then after obtaining the title, you can buy land in the region and build a house. Also, without the addition, you can buy yourself a house right in the city and equip it.
  • After receiving the title, a personal housecarl will be tied to the player, which can, if you wish, act as a companion and fight on the player's side.
  • If you are arrested for misdemeanors in the region where you are tan, then you can present the guard with a title and not go to jail. This trick works only once and if the penalty does not exceed 3000 gold.

Thane Title: The title is given through the main quest line.

The house can be bought for 5000gp from Proventus Avenicci after becoming a tan.

Name: House of Warm Winds.

Location: at the very beginning of the city, near the "House of the Warrior" smithy.

2 floors, 2 beds, 1 alchemy laboratory, 4 racks for weapons, 2 chests, 9 all kinds of cupboards and nightstands, 2 bookshelves.

A comment: The house is cozy, not too big. There are many bedside tables, so there is plenty of space for those who put everything in categories. The location in the city is great too. To the left is the forge, and to the right, a little further away, is the store "Belethor's Products", where you can turn in all the trash.

Riften

Thane Title: It can be obtained after several quests.

1) Run off as a messenger to Markarth and give a note. The quest is given by the fisherman, referring to the supplies.

2) help Shadr. A dialogue between a man and a woman takes place near the Bee and Sting tavern. From the dialogue, one can understand that Shadr is in a bad situation. After the end of the conversation, you can take the quest from him. Ask Sapphire to forgive the debt. (I made a quest, convincing to forgive the debt, so I don't know other branches).

3) Deal with drugs in the city. The quest starts with Argonian Wujita. So as not to run around the city and not look for her, you can watch for Helga's flophouse after 6 pm. This quest starts the quest chain, after which I got the title.

But before you can be honored in the city, you have to buy a house.

The house can be bought from Anuriel for 8000 gold.

Name: Honey cake.

Location: The building is located to the left of "Helga's Overnight".

1st floor, 1 basement, 8 various cupboards and nightstands, 1 alchemical laboratory, 1 pentagram of souls, 6 racks for weapons (1 on the floor (4 slots) and 5 on the walls), 2 dummies for clothes / armor, 2 shelves for books, 1 chest, 2 beds.

A comment:Spacious house with a pretty basement. With access to both Skyrim and Riften. You can buy a garden from Anuriel. If you like a vegetable garden, you can buy it, but if you think that these bushes with cabbage, potatoes and berries are absurd, then you better not waste your money. The blacksmith is further away than in Whiterun, but the distance to the general trader is the same. You can still reach the merchants in 15-20 seconds.

Solitude

Thane title: it is given after buying a house and completing 5 quests from the townspeople.

1) the assistant jarl will have the quest "The man who shouted" Wolves ".

2) the jarl will have a quest to carry the horn to the statue of Talos.

3) after these two quests, the jarl will tell you that you can buy a house if you complete a couple of orders from the townspeople in order to become a tan.

The house can be purchased from Folk Firebeard for 25,000 gold.

Name: High Spire.

Location: next to the College of Bards.

2 floors, 1 basement, 10 all kinds of cupboards and nightstands (4-5 of them are barrels of vegetables in the basement), 1 safe, 1 chest, 6 weapon racks (2 on the floor, 4 on the walls), 1 bed, 1 sleeping bag , 3 exits from the house, 1 alchemy laboratory, 1 pentagram of souls, 2 mannequins for clothes, 5 bookshelves

A comment: chic mansion with an excellent basement and 2nd floor. But there are too few cupboards for storing your belongings. There are too many exits from the house. 2 doors are located 5 meters from each other, it is not clear why (well, for me). The shops are far away, but there is no need to dodge, along the main, slightly winding street, sprint for half a minute. The house is great.

MARKART

Title of Thane: The chain begins with the fact that upon arrival in the city, you will see the murder of a civilian by outcasts. Next, one of the eyewitnesses will give you a note. This quest chain. She leads you to the murdered body of the employer and imprisoning you (if the Imperials call you into their ranks after killing the quest person, then the chain is filled up), escaping from the prison, we help the townspeople. Next, the jarl should have a quest to find a helmet. We find a headdress, and the jarl sets a condition for becoming a tan: you need to have property in the city and help 5 of its inhabitants.

Title: Winter Hall.

Location: From the fortress of the jarl, all the time to the left, the outer house. (Next to the house of Neptune.)

1st floor, 1 alchemy laboratory, 1 pentagram of souls, 2 beds, 11 weapon racks, 1 dummy, 3 bookshelves, 14 cupboards and nightstands, 1 chest.

A comment: The house is gloomy. Not for everyone. Lots of display cases for daggers. The blacksmith is not very close, and after the chain to receive a house, the trash seller also stopped working for me. And looking for them takes longer than moving to Riften or Whiterun. There are a lot of pedestals, and the style of the house imitates the city.

Falkreath (Heartfire only)

Thane Title: Help 3 Citizens

We buy a piece of land from Nenya for 5000 gold.

The plot of land is located between Falkreath and Riverwood. You can build your dream home there.

Winterhold

Thane Title: Help 3 Citizens

Not home. You can get a room in the College of Mages by completing their quests

Morphal

Thane Title: Quest chain and help 3 villagers.

The quest chain starts with everyone talking about the fire. You need to find out who started it. (On the 2nd quest of this chain, you need to find a ghost. Go up the hill for the remains of the house and find a vampire with a child's coffin.)

After passing the chain, the jarl assigns you a task to help 3 residents.

After help, you become a tan.

We are given a piece of land located between Morphal, Solutjud and Dawnstar

house description:

(see Falkreath).

Title of Thane

Huscarl Lydia is one of the most popular and beloved characters in Skyrim. To see it and get your hands on it, you need to become a whiterun tan.

For loyal service for the benefit of the people of Skyrim, Yarls can bestow the title of Thane on a hero.

Conditions for obtaining a title
The title can be obtained from the following holdings:
  • Winterhold
  • Whiterun
  • Riften
  • Limit (Markarth)
  • White Beach (Dawnstar)
  • Hjaalmarch (Morthal)
  • Haafingare (Solitude)
  • Falkreath
  • Eastmarch (Windhelm)

To obtain the title, you need to complete tasks from the townspeople, or from the jarl and the ruler. Let me remind you that they can be found in the throne room of the palace, or in the large houses of the jarl.
In Whiterun, the title goes to you at the beginning of the main storyline.
In cities where you can buy a house (Riften, Markarth, Solitude and Windhelm), the title of thana is given only after buying this very house. Then the jarl will give you an assignment to help a certain number of inhabitants of the city, and then will award you with this honorary title.
In smaller towns (Winterhold, Dawnstar, Morthal and Falkreath), the title is given simply for helping the townspeople.
What kind of tasks do you need to complete? It is impossible to say for sure. Due to Radiant Story, you can have completely different tasks from the Miscellaneous section. Just go around all the characters and you will surely find plenty of tasks from them. In addition, tasks are issued in batches. Collected and completed one game - you can walk around the city again, and the characters will have new assignments.
Also, let's not forget about the title "brother by blood" among the orc tribes. However, without him you will not be allowed into the village at all. The quest for obtaining a pass can be taken right at the gate. Alternative admission to the Orc village: complete the quest to free the gold mine from outcasts. The quest is taken from the head of the mine "Left hand", near Markarth. After completion, the assistant head decides that we can be trusted, and he will notify all the orc fortresses about this.
P.S. About the bad. Civil War and the mission "Endless Time" negatively affect the obtaining of the title. The fact is that because of them, the Jarl can change. The author did not manage to get the title in Riften - the house was bought, the people were happy, the task was hanging, but the lines in the dialogue did not appear.
Thane's privileges So you have become a tan! First of all, you may be presented with a title symbol in this possession. A sword, for example. Not too much good weapon, but it is quite possible to hang it on the wall in the house and admire it from time to time.
In big cities where there are houses, you get a huscarla. Huscarl is a man, a bodyguard. He or she will live in your house in a separate room. You can take them with you as companions. And they can follow the order in your absence.
Loyalty of the Guard. They can close their eyes to minor violations of the titled person.

After you become a tan, you will have a servant - a personal housecarl. The first of these will be Lydia after you defeat one of the dragons at the start of the storyline. If you have a servant, then a special room for servants will appear in your house.

Once you become friends with the whole city, then find a person among the local bigwigs who will sell you a house. He will also be able to sell you furniture, decorations and other items for your home. The improvements include a lot, even storage racks.

By the way, if your friend lives in her house, and you want her to move to your home, then you just need to talk to him / her about it.

Quest: Wujit
Requirement: Completed quest Healing Wujita
Reward: a random enchanted item depending on the level.

Acceptance of the task is possible after the end of the quest Healing Wujita from the Argonian Wujit of the city of Riften.

We ask her where she gets the skooma. Wujita is afraid to tell us, but after persuading or bribing, she agrees to answer us. We learn that the skooma is taken from Sartis Idren, who keeps it in the locked cache of Riften's warehouse, and the jarl has the key to the warehouse. We go to the Jarl of riften and find out that she knows everything about this, but they cannot catch this merchant.

We offer our help and get the key from the warehouse to catch the poison trader.

We penetrate into the warehouse of Riften using the key and kill Sartis Idren and his bodyguard.

Then we return with a note to the Jarl. We tell her that Sartis is killed and she will ask us to deal with his accomplices and for this will give an opportunity to get closer to obtaining the title in Riften. And we learn that they can be found in the Cregslane cave.

We go to the place and kill everyone without exception (if you have already been in the cave before the start of the quest and killed everyone, then you will not be able to go through the quest further).

After the murder, we return to the jarl and report that the skooma warehouse in the Kregslein cave is finished, for this she will give a gift (it can change depending on the player's level).
