Where is the dragon in the inland lands. Dragon Age: Inquisition is a new generation of dragons. 4th - High Dragon of the Abyss

A high dragon is a fully matured female dragon. These huge winged monsters that conquer the skies and burn all living things in their path are legendary and rarest of all existing dragons.

In the Dragon Age series, fighting the dragon has always been very difficult and dangerous. To defeat this flying monster required strong tactics and ability to wield the entire group. And now in more detail. There are ten higher dragons left in Thedas, and for completing the game we are obliged to get to know each one (if, of course, we want ourselves a wonderful achievement " Dragon Thunder»)

Ferelden Frostbite

The first dragon that most of the players meet. This dragon has settled well in the Hinterlands and has begun to procreate. We, as heroes, are obliged to prevent this, and, of course, the reward for killing the monster is pretty good.
Dragon characteristics:
Attack type: fire
Vulnerable to cold
The battle itself is not difficult, but the dragon often takes off and begins to call on his children to help him, who calmly cut out a gaping archer or magician.
In battle, one should beware of his fiery breath and, of course, huge paws with a tail. When you lower his health to zero, the dragon will fall and leave you his treasure (we search the skull) [Achievement 1 \ 10]

Dragon nest

Vinsomer

Our next target will be very evil, as we will prevent the dragon from enjoying the giant's meat and interrupt their amazing fight. The dragon is located on Stormshore, Dragon Isle. You can get there by boat from Derwin's Mouth (unlocked by the Red Waters quest). This strong enemy will create a sea of obstacles for you before you get that cherished.
Attack Type: Electricity
Vulnerable to spirit
You should be afraid of the dragon's energy balls, the damage from them is terribly large. In close combat, the dragon does not show itself as such a formidable opponent. The only danger is his energy attacks, take care of magicians, archers. Do not forget about pauses, controls, cans and this monster will bow before you. [Achievement 2/10]

Dragon nest

Deep High Dragon

You can find the "Abyssal High Dragon" in the location Western Reach. For the dragon to come out, you need to go through an interesting chain of quests to hunt dragons. This dragon is used to living in warmth and comfort, I'm afraid he won't like it when we throw ice magic at him.
Attack type: fire
Vulnerable to ice
The battle takes place as usual. The tank tries not to let go of the boss, the close damage cuts its legs, the far one stands as far as possible, because the dragon often loves to please the team fireball... She will also hinder you in every possible way with her paws and tail, but do not forget about the wings! The awful currents of wind created by the flapping of huge wings can spoil your picture quite well. [Achievement 3/10]

Dragon nest

Gamordan Buregon (formerly Gamoran Stormrider)

You should begin your search on the Sacred Plains in Raven Marsh.
His nest is in a pond and this is a huge advantage in his direction. The dragon has an electrical attack, which water conducts well.
Attack type: electricity
Weakness for spirit
In battle, the dragon behaves in a standard manner. It attacks with its paws and tail, sometimes it starts to pursue a random target from our group. Occasionally, the dragon uses water against us, transferring an electric charge of enormous strength through it. If the heroes stand in the water, they will take considerable damage and be stunned, so try to spend most of the time on land. Further, according to the standard tactics: we damage the paw, drink cans, microcontrol, active use of spells and skills. The result - the dragon is defeated! [Achievement 4/10]

Dragon nest

Great mistral

This dragon is not so difficult to find, but it was on his search that I spent the most time.
Mistral is an ice dragon that dwells in the Emerald Cave. To find him, you need to move from the Stone of Terror (which is located near the small camp of the criminal, which Kasandra is chasing on the quest) to the north. There you will see a huge, beautiful dragon who will not appreciate your visit and decides to drive away uninvited guests.
Attack type: ice
Vulnerable to fire
To reduce the dragon's damage, you need to increase your protection from ice. In close combat, the dragon torments you with sharp claws and a huge tail. He also creates wind currents with the help of his wings. When the dragon becomes enraged, it freezes its body and creates an armor bar on top of its health. In flight, he releases ice balls, in order to dodge, use tactical controls. The battle with this high dragon can take a long time, and therefore stock up on healing potions and other supplies. When his health drops to zero, the dragon will disappear into oblivion and leave only a memory and a wonderful drop about himself. This is how we get closer and closer to clearing the world of Dragons and getting the long-awaited achievement. [Achievement 5/10]

Dragon nest

Northern Hunter

Our next high dragon dwells in Crestwood. This dragon was my first and left a lot of pleasant and unpleasant memories about itself. In my opinion, the fight with this dragon was the most difficult. Perhaps because he was the first, and I did not have enough experience in fighting such monsters, my level was very low, and my clothes left much to be desired. But still, with blood and sweat, the power given to us, I mastered it, and so began my hunt for dragons.
Attack type: electricity
Vulnerable to spirit
Watch out for your magicians and robbers, because they become the sweet target for the electro-sphere, which can kill almost any hero in a matter of seconds. You should also be wary of his attacks with paws and tail, but do not forget about dragon breath. After a ton of cans on health, a hundred used skills and a couple of three deaths, our dragon will finally surrender and leave you with a sweet bonus in the form of new things. [Achievement 6/10]

Dragon nest

Sand mourner

To find this Dragon, go to the "Whistling Wastes" location and, starting from the first camp, go up the right edge of the map. Soon you will see a beautiful entrance between the mountains, this will be the passage to our sleeping dragon. Carefully approach the monster without waking it up ahead of time and start attacking with a tank.
Attack type: fire
Vulnerable to ice
This Dragon has strong legs and often loves to flap her wings. To break through its scales, you will have to try hard, since the dragon often covers its health with armor. Relaxing in this battle will not work, the Dragon can take off and instantly collapse on any of your heroes. Use cans, control all the heroes and do not forget about a pause, and this fiery beast will lie at your feet. [Achievement 7/10]

Dragon nest

Hyvernal

To fight this icy beauty, we need to repair the bridge at Empriz du Lyon. The dragon cannot stand the heat and often likes to refresh the whole team with icy breath.
Attack type: ice
Vulnerable to fire
During the battle, it is worth protecting the tank from ice attacks as much as possible, otherwise the battle will be fast. Other heroes actively use fire magic and inflict damage in all possible ways. During the battle, the Dragon decides to take a break, spreading its mighty wings and flying into the heavenly heights.
In this location, after capturing the fortress, there is a quest for all dragons, before you go hunting - do not forget to take it. [Achievement 8/10]

Dragon nest

Kaltenzan

This high dragon can be easily found on the second tower after crossing the bridge (mission beacon shown). Fights with two dragons are pretty similar and easy, so we won't talk much here, let's get down to business.
Attack type: ice
Vulnerable to fire
The dragon is very active on the battlefield and constantly jumps from side to side. A weak hindrance in killing him will be his breath and a fierce desire to survive, but when the dragon realizes her inevitable fate, she will summon her offspring to help. Get rid of the help as quickly as possible! It is the little dragons that make up the whole problem of this fight. The percentage by percentage of the Dragon's health will drop to zero and he will finally be defeated. The last target, we go! [Achievement 9/10]

Dragon nest

Highlands Slayer

Here it is, the last battle! Are you already looking forward to it? Be sure to save !!! Achievement may not be given the first time and then you will have to repeat the killing of the dragon.
We will find this monster in the third amphitheater behind the bridge, however, the mark on the map is on assignment to help you.
Attack type: fire
Ice vulnerability
This dragon is a huge threat! Throughout the battle, he will protect himself with armor and constantly call on his children, who have considerable damage, and it is not so easy to kill them. Several hazards during combat are: jump attack, stun, summon small dragons, fire breath, point-by-point fireballs (mortar principle). All this can take away the victory from you. I was lucky to kill this monster the first time, but at the end of the fight, the monster killed my Bull with one blow. The fight lasted about five minutes and the fiery queen surrendered. Drop, achievement, applause for the winners. [Achievement 10/10]

Dragon nest

V Dragon age: Inquisition you can find as many as 10 higher dragons, and finding them is not as easy as it might seem. Unfortunately, text guides are sometimes not very clear. Therefore, it was decided to make a video instruction for those who crave dragon blood! This video acts as a menu that allows you to choose exactly the location in which you are looking for a huge lizard, and after clicking, you will be thrown to the video you need, in general, this is the first interactive guide to finding dragons.

True, I would advise you to attack dragons after you reach level 14-15, otherwise even the weakest lizard will suit you kuzka's mother. Well, the main tactic of killing these creatures, nevertheless, is not the wild control of all your wards, but only right choice companions, and in this you just the same will help the weaknesses of the dragons, which are indicated below.

Well, so that this post is not empty, I will also describe all the dragons separately, and we will start with the smallest!

Ferelden Frostback Level 12

It is located in the very first location - The Hinterlands, you can find it if you go northeast of the Sunset Camp. On the way to the big dragon, I advise you to avoid the small ones, as the big one constantly circles around your squad and shoots fire. In my own skin I experienced what happens to those who do not obey this advice. It is a fire lizard, does not tolerate cold.

Northern Hunter Level 13

Found in Crestwood, southwest of Three Trout Farm Camp. I advise you to destroy all the living creatures in the circle, if at least someone is near the dragon, otherwise while I was valiantly fighting the dragon, a buffalo attacked me and ruined the whole hunt. The dragon is electric, and has a vulnerability to spirit magic.

Abyssal High Dragon (Abyssal high dragon) Level 14

Located in the location - Western Limit, in the southwest. In order to meet this dragon, you have to complete a series of tasks from a fellow named Frederick. He can be found near the camp at the Nazer Pass. The tasks are not difficult and do not require any prompts, so I think you can handle it without any problems. This dragon is fiery, and as a result, it is vulnerable to cold!

Gamordan Stormrider Level 15

Lives in the northeast of the Sacred Plain location. In order to get close to this little animal, you need to clear a passage on the command table, and then we go to the very end of the swamps. Another electric animal, just a little unusual - it can electrify the water, so be careful, or you will not be hello. Resistant to electricity, but vulnerable to spirit magic.

The Greater Mistral Level 17

This lizard settled in a location called the Emerald Graves. You can find it far to the north, if you go from the camp in Stonezhut. He prefers fire, is afraid of the cold - go for it guys.

Vinsomer Level 19

This dragon is located in the location - Storm Coast. In order to find it, you have to storm the fortress in the Derwin's Estuary in the west - where it is located, you can see in the video. As soon as you cut out the entire population of this fortress, at the very end you will see a boat, approaching which you will go to Dragon Island. Vinsomer is vulnerable to spirit magic, resistant to electricity and, as a result, uses it.

Sandy Howler Level 20

Located in the Whistling Wastes, far west of the Sand Cliffs camp. What's remarkable is that when you find the reptile, it will sleep sweetly! When you wake her up, she will spit fire at you, but at the same time react very sharply to cold attacks. She also calls on little dragons to help her.

With the next three players it is a little more difficult, because it seemed to me unreasonable to show them all at once on the first map! It was decided to make a separate submenu for them:

Well, now, to the dragons themselves:

Hivernal Level 19

One of the weakest dragons in the Empriz du Lyon location. In order to get access to it, you need to build a bridge, giving instructions to this at the command headquarters. Be in the first colosseum encountered. Loves cold and is afraid of fire. The video clearly shows that against him it is required to take with him to the detachment of magicians possessing the fire element, otherwise there will be almost no sense from the magician. Calls for help in the form of little dragons.

Kaltenzhan Level 21

Middle brother in Emprise du Lyon. In order to get access to it, you need to build a bridge, giving instructions to this at the command headquarters. Be in the second colosseum. Loves cold and is afraid of fire. The video clearly shows that against him it is required to take with him to the detachment of magicians possessing the fire element, otherwise there will be almost no sense from the magician. Calls for help in the form of little dragons.

Highland Ravager Level 23

The most powerful dragon in Emprise du Lyon. In order to get access to it, you need to build a bridge, giving instructions to this at the command headquarters. Be in the third colosseum. He prefers fire, is afraid of the cold, so feel free to take Vivienne with you. Calls for help in the form of little dragons.

To be honest, this is my first experience in compiling guides of this kind, and guides in general. Therefore, criticism is welcome, and especially advice.

Thank you for the attention.

In Game Dragon Age: Inquisition has ten supreme dragons related to three elements: fire, ice and electricity. Each of them has its own vulnerability, tactics and resilience. Also in the game there are two storyline dragons, which will be discussed separately.

Open world dragons:

  1. Ferelden Frostbite. Dwells in the Hinterlands in Lady Shyna's Valley. This is a level 12 fire dragon. It is most sensitive to cold damage, so it will be useful to take companions into battle that can deal damage to them. From the rest of the characteristics, it can be added that this dragon belongs to the flying, and also summons cubs. Looking at the level, it may seem that it is the easiest, and this is partly true. However, forgedness lies precisely in his tactics. It almost never lands. After receiving a certain amount of damage, he flies to the second sub-location. There he periodically summons the cubs. He descends to the ground extremely rarely, preferring to sit on ledges and trees. He also just loves to attack from the air with fire, so as soon as you see that a fireball has separated from him, immediately take the detachment scatteringly. These balls also continue to burn for some time, inflicting fire damage to the incoming one. When the dragon has less than 20% health, it will land on the cliff, where it will need to be finished off.
  2. Northern Hunter. Lives in Crestwood near Three Trout Farm. This is a level 13 electric dragon. This is one of the lightest dragons: it does not fly, does not increase armor, does not summon cubs. The only difficulty might be the Static Cage, which he loves to throw on. You should be especially careful if animals are walking nearby. The damage dealt by the static cage immediately makes them hostile, which can complicate the fight. The Northern Hunter is resistant to electricity, but vulnerable to spirit magic, so if the companions have a weapon that deals damage with this element, feel free to take them to the squad.
  3. Deep High Dragon. Dwells in the Western Reach. To fight her, you will have to complete the dragonologist quest chain. This is a level 14 fire dragon. Not the most difficult dragon - it does not fly, does not summon cubs, but builds up armor. It is worth hiding behind strong shelters, since it destroys others.
  4. Gamordian Buregon. Dwells in the Sacred Plains, in the swamps. To fight him, you will first need to open access to the swamps. This is a level 15 electric dragon. Does not summon cubs, but flies and increases armor. The main difficulty is the lack of cover and water, which he actively uses against the squad.
  5. Great Mistral. Dwells in the Emerald Graves north of Rockjut (or Ghastly Stones). This is a level 17 ice dragon. Flies, builds up armor, does not summon cubs. In general, the tactics are similar to those against other flying dragons. The dragon is sensitive to fire, so if one of the companions has a weapon enchanted with this element, it would be nice to take it with you. But the creature is immune to cold, so ice staves and weapons enchanted by cold are completely useless.
  6. Vinsomer. Dwells on a dragon island near Stormshore. This is a level 19 electric dragon. Does not fly and does not summon cubs, but increases armor. The main difficulty is the small size of the battlefield, where there is nowhere to hide and maneuver, so the main help will be "tanks" wielding a sword and shield.
  7. Sand Weeper. Dwells in the Whistling Wastes near the main entrance to Fairel's Tomb. This is a level 20 fire dragon. He sleeps, so you can go to the tomb bypassing him. Does not fly, does not increase armor, but summons cubs. As with Vinsomer, things are complicated by the small size of the arena, as well as the cubs.
  8. Hyvernal and Kaltenzan. Two ice dragons are level 19 and 21, respectively. They live in Empriz du Lyon. Access to them opens after the restoration of the bridge. Both fly, and the second also summons cubs. Like the Gamordian Buregon, it uses water against the group - those closest to the impact of the ice "projectile" take cold damage.
  9. Mountain Slayer. Fire dragon level 23. Lives in Emrise du Lyon. Does not fly, but builds up armor and summons cubs. Difficulties are created by the small size of the arena (the battle takes place in a cave), cubs and fire mines, which the dragon imposes on the places of the greatest concentration of squad members.

Quest dragons (Warning: SPOILERS!):

  1. Guardian Mital. The first of the story dragons. Occurs in the "The Final Act" quest if the Inquisitor drank from the Well of Sorrow. If Morrigan saw it, he won't. This is a level 22 fire dragon. To defeat him, it is enough to remove half of his health. After that, the dragon flies away. Defeating him is necessary to obtain the achievement "On Fiery Wings".
  2. Red Dragon. It occurs three times throughout the story, starting with the quest "Will Burn in Your Hearts", where he destroys the Shelter. His next appearance is heard in the quest "There lies the Abyss", there he severely wounds the Guardian-Commander Clarelle. His last appearance happens in final quest"Marvel at the perfection", where you can fight with him. This is a level 23 lyrium dragon. At the beginning of the battle, he will have half his health. He is vulnerable to electricity, does not fly, does not summon cubs, but increases his armor. Appears after the first victory at Coryphaeus. When he is defeated, the final battle with the Elder will take place.
  1. Give commands to the squads in "manual" mode.
  2. Be especially careful to control the rogues armed with daggers - they specialize in close combat, but do not know how to build up armor like warriors. Because of this, they often "go to bed" first.
  3. Iron Bull, although he enjoys fighting a dragon, is not the most suitable warrior for this. Cassandra or Blackwall is much better. Also, the "tank" can be an Inquisitor with a sword and shield.
  4. The fight with the Sand Wailler can be avoided altogether if he is not awakened by the companions or one of the predators.
  5. There are special dragons runes for fighting dragons. They are the most preferred for combat. If they are not there, then the strengthening of the element, to which the dragon is vulnerable, is suitable.

You will meet dragons from time to time anyway. There are ten of them in the game! And everyone High Dragon lives in a certain area and has its own unique characteristics: abilities / skills / talents, weaknesses and resistance. Below you can find out all the information about each dragon in the game.

First - Ferelden Fire High Dragon

This dragon lives / dwells in the Hinterlands and in the Valley of Lady Shila. It has resistance to fire, that is, you will not benefit from fire damage in battle. Its main and main weakness is the opposite of fire - cold!

Fighting with it will be generally useless if you do not have things with resistance to fire, since with one of its fireballs, it can immediately lay down your entire party. You must have weapons with cold runes! It is very important! When you start fighting her in close combat, be sure to watch her paws - attacks will be noticeable and not too difficult to avoid. In addition to hitting with a paw, it also beats with its tail. As it should have been, she will spew out a flame. Its small embryos (dragons) will attack your archers and magicians - keep in mind. We recommend that you fill up these little bastards right away. The main ability is to spread fire across the entire area (mass ability).

Second - High Dragon Vinsomer

This dragon lives in the location Storm Coast and Dragon Island. Resistant to lightning attacks.

In a battle with this dragon, you better put on armor that will have resistance to electricity and insert runes into your weapon that will have damage from the power of the Spirit. We recommend that you have a full focus scale before starting a fight and stock up on cans of healing potions.

You need to keep a close eye on the small dragons. Vinsomer is a very active High Dragon who loves to kill first magicians together with robbers. Its powerful roar immediately stuns your entire party. In addition, Vinsomer has the ability to be covered by an electric field, so when he does this, we recommend that you stay away from him as far as possible.

Third - High Dragon Northern Hunter

The Northern Hunter lives only in Crestwood and has, like Vinsomer, resistance to lightning, therefore, based on this, his main weakness is spirit.

Just like fighting Vinsomer, you need lightning protection. The behavior of this High Dragon is practically the same as that of Vinsomer. He tries to attack more robbers and magicians, so again you have to make sure that he does not kill them. In addition to the fact that he can hit you with any of his limbs, he can breathe lightning, which is like the breath of fire.

Otherwise, the fight will be more like a fight with Vinsomer.

4th - High Dragon of the Abyss

The Void Dragon lives in a location called Western Approaches. Has resistance to fire and, accordingly, weakness to cold.

This dragon has a great weakness for cold. We recommend that you make your tank take over all of its attacks. At this time, all your other party members and you (if you are not a tank) will have to beat him with cold magic.

He will also attack you with his limbs: tail, paws and wings. Your heroes who hit him in melee will have to avoid these attacks. In addition, with his wings, he will be able to create barriers that will protect him from ranged attacks - at such moments you would be better off getting close to him and hitting with a tank or a robber. But before that, make sure you have full focus.

5th - High Dragon Gamoran Stormrider

Gamoran is located in Crow Marsh and the High Plains. Has resistance to lightning attacks and weakness to spiritual attacks.

You should use normal melee attacks. As a couple, on a random basis, he chooses one target from your group and begins to constantly pursue it.

Be sure to need armor with resistance to lightning, your mages or mage will have to support the whole group. Stock up on healing potions as always and try to stay in dry territory. As usual, all weapons should be sharpened for spiritual attacks.

Sixth - High Dragon Mistral

This High Dragon dwells very deep in the Emerald Caverns, so you still need to get to him. From the Stone of Terror, go north until you hit the very edge of the map.

Mistral is level seventeen and uses the element of cold. If you have breach skills, then use them as often as possible, since from this the dragon takes just a lot of damage from them. We recommend that you focus on one limb of the dragon.

Since High Dragon Mistral deals cold damage, wear armor with protection from it. Just like the previous dragons, he can attack you with his wings.

From time to time she will shoot you with her ice balls, so at this moment you will need to rather switch to the hero the ball is flying at and take him away. If you do not do this manually, then the AI will slow down as always and silently accept the attack. Well, remember that the battle will not be fast, so stock up on healing potions (as much as possible).

Seventh - High Dragon Hevernal

To get to this dragon, you first have to repair the bridge. High Dragon Hevernal dwells in a place called Empriz du Lyon. She is at the nineteenth level. The dragon sits at the very top of the tower, which is located immediately behind the bridge.

Like Mistral, Hevernal is also an ice dragon, so wear armor that provides resistance to cold. Move the mages together with the archer to the back row. Hevernal constantly breathes in front of him his icy breath, you will have to put next to her, a fat enough tank. Otherwise, everything is the same as in the battle against the previous High Dragon. Use fire spells and weapons to inflict heavy damage on her. For a complete battle with her, she will take off only four times.

Eighth - High Dragon Kaltenzan

She will sit on the next tower after the first High Dragon, also behind the bridge. Kaltenzan is already level 21. Just like the previous ones - the ice High Dragon. To accumulate aggro (which is necessary), take your tanks / tank forward. By the type of combat, she has the same behavior as Heyvernal, only her ice breath will last much longer. She jumps very often and is extremely mobile, so your battle with her will drag on for a long time. Do not expect an easy battle, stock up on healing potions, regeneration potions.

Try to keep the tank in good shape, so that he hollows it. With the help of magicians, kill all the little things that came to you after her cry. You will pass this action two more times.

9th - High Dragon Ravager

This High Dragon is the final dragon of the Breeding Site quest. Go around the tower so that you don't have to fight with low health. This monster is already at level 23 and attacks with a fiery element. We recommend that you recharge the focus (this must be done with all dragons). The Ravager is constantly jumping and making jumping attacks, so try to avoid this.

She will constantly growl and call for reinforcements, attack you with her wings and create armor for herself. When little guests come before you, then kill them rather with your magicians and charge yourself with a focus!

Tenth - High Dragon Sand Howler

So, start from the Sand Crags camp and travel further westward. Eventually, you will find yourself near wyverns and a small trail that runs between the mountains. Follow this path and soon you will stumble upon the High Dragon. She has a twentieth level and at the moment of meeting her, it turns out that she is sleeping.

Take your tank forward and gain aggro. Deal as much damage to her as you can. Gradually begin to bring out the mages along with the robbers. This High Dragon is fiery, so use ice weapons. She will breathe a fiery stream on you, beat her wings and, like the previous ones, call her unique armor.

She, like all previous dragons, will be extremely mobile, so keep an eye on her and try to keep control of your team.

Dragon Age has such a resounding name for a reason - the most interesting and memorable creatures in this game are undoubtedly dragons. In the first part of the game, Flemeth, the High Dragon on the Top of the Mountain and the Archdemon are remembered, besides them there were also smaller dragons. In the second part, there was one higher dragon at all. The battles with these creatures were interesting and exciting, but in the third part it looks like a boss from some MMORPG.

One appearance of a dragon somewhere in the distance is already an unforgettable sight, so high quality it is done (in contrast to everything else). The behavior of the dragon and in general everything that is connected with it is somehow made alive and realistic - they will let us know in advance where the dragon's lair is, we will understand about its approach by the mighty flapping of its wings, but finally, the dragon cubs will convince us of the correctness of the path.

Yes, you can go to the dragon and die from one blow, or you can go too late and carry this lizard into the lung. When the difficulty and level coincide with the required, then the battle itself becomes really interesting. The dragon does not just bite and flap its wings, it kicks with its hind legs, hits its tail, bounces off too violent attacks, and sometimes uses its special abilities.

V Dragon game Age: Inquisition will give us as many as 10 High Dragons to be torn apart. For their genocide, you can get a lot of influence points, experience and loot (purple things are poured from the dragons, and not one at a time, but several). When fighting dragons, you should remember that sometimes they will bomb from the air with their breath, inflicting a lot of damage when they hit, and not necessarily fire. It is quite easy to dodge a flying projectile ... the character we play for, but our narrow-minded comrades-in-arms will come under fire all the time.

All flying lizards can use the whirlwind ability (they begin to flap their wings and suck the whole group towards themselves). At the same time, the dragon does not do so much damage, but it spoils the location pretty much, it is better to retreat away with your light-dressed damagers. Let's say the archer has a wonderful bounce. In close combat, the dragon can bite painfully, paw or kick a cunning hero in the back, do not forget about the tail, which the dragon also does not disdain to use. In addition, when the dragon's health is brought to a certain state, this very dragon can fly into the air, cut in protection or use its other ability, depending on the type of dragon.

You can also attack individual parts of the dragon, but directing the damage of the entire group to a certain point is quite problematic. Despite this, having cut out a limb, the dragon will lose part of its maneuvers, despite the fact that its general life will also decrease,

Types of dragons

Ferelden frostbite

Level 12
Where to find: Hinterlands, go from the camp near Zakatny to the northeast into the passage between the rocks.
Release and resilience: Fire
Vulnerability: Cold

Tips: Frosty uses a massive stun for a short time, summons cubs coming from different directions (I lured them out and shot them with a bow). Periodically takes off, bombarding large area, it is difficult to dodge this, because the earth will burn decently in time. If you really get bogged down, then it is better to go downstairs, where there will be more space. The dragon has no defense, so when landing, we take out a trifle and plant everything we can. Also, the dragon will sit on the ledges, where archers and magicians will come in handy, but upon completion it will sit on a large ledge in the north. The biggest danger is fire bombardment and small dragons, but if you dress against the fire, take the magicians' staffs on the ice and take out the little things in time, then the dragon is quite light.

Northern hunter

Level 13
Where to find: Crestwood, southwest of Three Trout Farm Camp. On the way, you will meet a manor at the top of the slope - from there you can see the ruins in which the dragon lives.

Vulnerability: Spirit Magic

Tips: Attacks the Northern Hunter with lightning. There is no defense, it does not fly away. Distinctive ability: knows how to create an electrical "storm" on the field, which is attached to each of the party members and acts for some time, periodically activating the "chain lightning".

Abyssal High Dragon

Level 14
Where to find: West End, Southwest. To call this beast, you need to complete the quest of the dragon master Frederick, who stands not far from the camp at the Nazer pass. Having dealt with the bandits, we will have to find a Tevinter tome about dragons (this lies in the Windless Ruins in the left room on a pedestal). After translating the tome, you will need to place the bait on the plateau south of the camp and the dragon will come to get acquainted.
Release and resilience: Fire
Vulnerability: Cold

Tips: The dragon loves her fiery breath very much and is not going to fly away from you anywhere. Sometimes it uses defense, but is generally inactive.

Gamordian Buregon

Level 15
Where to find: Sacred Plain, head north-east. To open a passage to the desired area, you need to complete the operation in the rate for clearing the passage. The dragon lives and enjoys life in the farthest part of the swamps.
Release and resilience: Electricity
Vulnerability: Spirit Magic

Tips: She loves to throw electric bombs, and if she gets into the water, little damage will be done to you, even if you are standing at a sufficient distance from it, but in the same body of water (laws of physics about electrical conductivity, yeah). It also flies into the air at least three times in order to try to "fry" you with a current from a distance with bombs. Does not use defense.

Great Mistral

Level 17
Where to find: Emerald Graves, go north from the camp in Kamezhuti to the cliff (landmark - a large white tree and ruins)
Release and Resilience: Cold
Vulnerability: Fire

Tips: Mistral is a fan of flying. Ice bombs will fly at us from above, but they will not damage so much to be very much afraid of them, and small cubs will not attack us, so you can run a little. He uses defense, although rarely. Ice breath is especially dangerous, which can easily kill a dead archer, or a fairly simple dragon.

Vinsomer

Level 17
Where to find: Stormshore, first of all you need to storm the fortress of Darwin's Estuary in the west. There will be a boat at the far dock, which will take you to Dragon Isle.
Release and resilience: Electricity
Vulnerability: Spirit Magic

Tips: Often cuts in defense and generally behaves quite mobile. He does not like to fly, there is no mass stunning either, instead there are electric bombs and breathing. Knows how to create an electric storm on the field.

Sand mourner

Level 20
Where to find: Whistling Wastes, west of the Sand Cliffs camp. The dragon sleeps peacefully in front of the entrance to Fairel's tomb. If you are completing a quest, then such an attraction will be difficult to miss.
Release and resilience: Fire
Vulnerability: Cold

Tips: The dragon does not fly away, but it behaves very mobile. He actively cuts in defense and often summons cubs. Applies fire breath and sets the area on fire with bombs.

Hyvernal

Level 19
Where to find: Emprise du Lyon, west. The area becomes available after the completion of the operation at the headquarters of the command to restore the destroyed bridge - to the west of the camp at the Tower. In addition, the commandant of the fortress gives the task of killing three dragons (if you have already cleared it from Imshel and the red templars). Hyvernal lives on the summit of the first of the three Colosseums.
Release and Resilience: Cold
Vulnerability: Fire

Tips: Often uses Blizzard's massive AoE attack that freezes and deals damage over time. Takes off at least 3 times, freezing with breath on descent. Does not use defense, no cubs.

Kaltenzan

Level 21
Where to find: Emprise du Lyon, the second colosseum.
Release and Resilience: Cold
Vulnerability: Fire
Tips: Has a fairly strong mass attack, summons at least two cubs. Flies away several times and uses defense.

Highlands Ruiner

Level 23
Where to find: Emprise du Lyon, the third colosseum.
Release and resilience: Fire
Vulnerability: Cold
Tips: This dragon knows how to massively set fire to an area; before starting, circles are drawn on the ground. Even if you managed to run away from the affected area, you can be overtaken by her cubs, so be careful. The Mountain Bane is the most powerful dragon in the game. Cuts in defense. Do not forget to change your clothes, because unlike the previous two, this dragon is fiery.
