Where to begin?

The day before the procedure, it is advisable to reduce the consumption of fried, fatty, meat, dairy products, fast food and other heavy foods. Suitable for eating vegetables, fruits and fresh juices and smoothies made from them. That is, in a simple way, arrange a fasting day on plant foods, to which you can add cereals, but not legumes.

Colon cleansing methods

Strong salt solution

This method is similar to the one that I described in detail in the article about Shank Prakshalana, except that the exercises are not required.

Personally, I have not practiced this method, because I think it's easier to combine drinking salt water with exercise.

But the method has a right to exist, it is simpler and suitable for everyone.

For cleansing, take about 2.5 liters of water, boil, cool to about 40º and dissolve salt in it (1 tablespoon of salt for 1 liter). If you cannot drink such salty water and it will provoke the urge to vomit, prepare a weaker solution, but there should be at least 1 teaspoon of salt per liter of water.

Now your goal is to drink 10-12 glasses of solution within an hour and a half.

First, drink a couple of glasses of salt water and wait until you feel it moving through your intestines.

After a while, you will want to visit the toilet. You can stop drinking water when the liquid coming out of you becomes clear, like water.

After finishing cleaning, you should drink 2 glasses of plain water (without salt) and wait an hour, after which you can move on to nutrition, which should start with vegetable juices. An hour after juicing, you can move on to solid foods.

Such cleaning of the gastrointestinal tract must be carried out several times (up to 5 times) with interruptions of one or two days.

While I was describing, I wanted to do it myself, purely out of curiosity "will it work or not." Shank Prakshalana then I regularly perform, but here it seems the same, but without unnecessary energy consumption.

Castor oil

Castor oil is considered a very good laxative. It is preferable to use it for cleansing for those who have problems during the emptying of the intestines, since this oil removes everything painful sensations.

However, when cleaning with castor oil, you should not make further plans for your day, since the urge to defecate is possible for several hours in a row.

For cleaning, castor oil is taken orally in a proportion of 1 g of oil per 1 kg of body weight. Shake the oil with citrus juice (preferably lemon or orange). The juice should be 2 times more in volume than oil.

Drink in large sips, in one gulp, holding your breath. You can pinch your nose straight.

It is better to use oil as natural as possible, preferably Indian.

If after that there is a nausea urge, it is recommended to eat some raisins.

With magnesium sulfate

The method is very effective, but disgusting. I used it three times during the Moritz liver cleanses.

I'll tell you how I took it (you can use the method indicated on the package if you decide on this method).

Only light food is required the day before cleaning. On the first day of brushing, the last meal is at 2 p.m.

4 tbsp. tablespoons of sulfate must be dissolved in 720 ml of water. Divide the liquid into 4 parts (180 ml each) and apply 2 times in the evening (I drank at 18 and 20 o'clock and went to bed at 22 o'clock), and 2 times in the morning (at 6 and 8 o'clock).

In the morning, you and the toilet - best friends.

Enemas

You can also purify with the help of Esmarch's mug, collecting diluted lemon juice, decoctions of herbs, etc. as a medicinal composition in it.

An enema can only cleanse the lower intestines. At the same time, it will be effective if you repeat it 2-3 times in a row.

The water should be warm, about 38 degrees. It is best to use saline solution: for 2 liters of water, 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of soda.

Senna and other herbs

A number of herbs have laxative properties (buckthorn, rhubarb, common caraway, senna herb, common fennel, joster). Drinking decoctions from them, you can cleanse the intestines. However, deep cleansing cannot be achieved with this method.

It makes sense to use in case of constipation and intestinal congestion. Frequent use of a laxative, even if it is of plant origin, is undesirable and addictive.

Senna is the most popular. It is enough to brew 2 sachets in boiling water, leave for 15 minutes and drink before bed. Wake up in the morning most likely early from the urge to go to the toilet.

Activated carbon

If there is a need to bring the stomach back to normal in a short time, better remedy than activated carbon is hard to find. It is a strong adsorbent and therefore, in cases of the appearance of putrefactive processes, when toxic damage is observed, its use is of primary importance.

However, with frequent use, it has a side effect: the body becomes poorer in minerals and vitamins, the microflora is killed, and the intestinal villi suffer. Coal, along with everything harmful in the body, also absorbs the useful.

Cleansing the gastrointestinal tract with food

More enjoyable than drinking medicated solutions or taking enemas, cleansing folk remedies using vegetables and fruits: they are delicious and you don't have to overcome yourself to drink or eat them.

All who practice this method of cleansing eventually come to a certain "their" product, the most suitable for the body for these purposes. Here are the most popular cleanings of this type.

Fresh

For this procedure, it is optimal to carry out monthly. Juice made from citrus fruits, apples, or peaches works best. Your goal is to drink more than 2 liters of juice during the day without eating anything. It is allowed to drink plain or mineral (without gas) water.

Broom salad

Chop cabbage + carrots + beets (all raw), mash with your hands and eat during the day. You can fill with lemon juice and butter. Any oil, of course, is better to use cold pressed.

Often acts as a laxative, but does not affect everyone. Try it.

Watermelon

This is another pleasant cleaning that should be done for several days. On cleaning days, it is recommended to eat watermelon 10 times less than your weight.
