Activities in children's libraries Cosmonautics Day. Report on activities for the Day of Cosmonautics. into outer space

Every year, on April 12, the whole world celebrates Cosmonautics Day. This is a real holiday that unites people from all over the Earth in a single desire to know what is beyond its borders. In addition, April 12, 2015 marks the 54th anniversary of the flight into space of the first cosmonaut of the Earth, Yuri Gagarin. The city libraries host events dedicated to this holiday.

So, the staff of the Central City Library named after V. Mayakovsky held an educational hour "Star Children of the Earth" for 6th grade students of MBOU "Secondary School No. 39", dedicated to Yuri Gagarin. The guys learned that in childhood, Yura was an ordinary child, he dreamed of becoming a pilot. But the first profession that the future cosmonaut chose for himself was the profession of a metallurgist. Yuri Gagarin studied at the Saratov flying club, graduated with honors from the aviation school in Orenburg, then served in the Arctic, studied flying. He was the best in his studies, honest and decent, very brave. His confidence and optimism, his desire to conquer space overcame all obstacles. The first manned flight into space lasted only 108 minutes, but it was the most difficult and dangerous, and it was proved that man can live and work in space. A little over an hour after this flight, Yuri Gagarin became the most famous person on Earth. In addition, the guys found out that Chuvashia is the birthplace of three cosmonauts: Andriyan Nikolaev, cosmonaut No. 3, Nikolai Budarin and Musa Manarov, who glorified the Chuvash people with their flights.

In the library - children's information center. V. Sukhomlinsky hosted a competitive game program "This mysterious space"The event began with a conversation dedicated to cosmonautics and the first cosmonaut of the Earth - Yuri Gagarin. Then the participants of the meeting, with the help of improvised objects, compiled an approximate model of the Universe, discussed temporal-spatial theories. At the end of the event, the librarians figured out what to fly to Mars on all, all my life there are no volunteers among those present yet: the guys decided that there is nothing more expensive and nicer than our Earth.

The N. Chernyshevsky library hosted a thematic hour "To become an astronaut, you need to know a lot" for the pupils of the MBDOU "Kindergarten No. 36". The participants of this event were the guys from preparatory group"Butterflies" and "Seven-flowers", which went on an educational journey-game. The children got acquainted with the history of the development of astronautics, expanded their knowledge of the Universe, cosmic bodies and phenomena, watched an electronic presentation about A.G. Nikolaev. In the second block, children guessed riddles and answered quiz questions, and also took an active part in the "I want to be an astronaut" competition.

And in the library of the Vostochny settlement there was a holiday "If you don’t get sick, you can fly into space". During the cognitive hour, young readers learned that the very first test cosmonauts were animals - dogs, and then Yuri Gagarin flew into space. Cosmonaut No. 2 G. Titov, A.G. Nikolaev, P.R. Popovich, V.F. Bykovsky, V.V. Tereshkova ... When the librarian asked what it takes to become an astronaut, the guys answered that you need to study well, read a lot and be physically healthy. Children got acquainted with an amazing, rare and dangerous profession astronaut. The cosmonaut's profession is special, it makes very high demands on a person. An astronaut, first of all, must have excellent health. He has to work in unusual conditions: during launching into orbit and returning to Earth, considerable overloads act on him. Thus, a tenfold overload means that an astronaut, for example, with his own weight of 80 kg, feels his weight equal to 800 kg. And in orbit, he finds himself in conditions of weightlessness, completely unusual for a person who was born and lives in conditions of the earth's gravity. To be healthy, you need to go in for sports, so after an educational hour, the guys enjoyed playing outdoor games with a ball on the street near the library.

(Slide number 1.) Children read poetry.

Stars, stars, for a long time
Chained you forever
A man's greedy gaze.

And sitting in animal skin
Near the red fire
Inseparably into the dome blue
He could look until morning.

And looked in silence in debt
A man in the open space of the night -
Then with fear
Then with delight
Then with a vague dream.

And then with a dream together
The tale was ripening on the lips:
About the mysterious constellations
About unknown worlds.

Since then they have been living in heaven,
As in the night edge of wonders, -
Aquarius, Sagittarius and Swan,
Lion, Pegasus and Hercules.

(Vasily Lepilov)

All planets in order
Any of us will call:
One is Mercury,
Two is Venus,
Three is the Earth,
Four - Mars.
Five is Jupiter
Six - Saturn,
Seven - Uranus,
Behind him is Neptune.
He is eighth in a row.
And after him already, then,
And the ninth planet
Called Pluto.
(Arkady Hayt)

First verse:

Here is our starship flying forward
Towards the stars.
Goodbye home! Let us wag our tail
Comet and then

Chorus:

Second verse:

Yes! We fly wherever we go
It's not easy to step!
We will open everything, we will demolish all obstacles,
We will save everyone from monsters

Chorus:

Third verse:

Everyone there is glad to see us! Cosmopot
Calls us to visit!
Thousands of planets tell us: "Hello!
Stay here! "But no -

Chorus:

(Back to the first slide.)

Shielding from the light with your palm,
The boy is sitting.
Silence.
And suddenly magical:
- Rocket
Reached the Luna station. - And looking up from notebooks,
Said with dignity:
- Order. -
As if it should be so.
It should be like this
And not otherwise.
And there is no wonder
What is it by us
We started
Assault on unsolved planets.
Do not reproach him for stinginess:
The boy is restrained because
What a continuation of discoveries
The era has entrusted him!
(L. Tatyanicheva)

In a space rocket
With the name "East"
He is the first on the planet
I was able to rise to the stars.
Sings songs about it
Spring drops:
Will be together forever
Gagarin and April.
(V. Stepanov)

On April 12, the whole world celebrates Aviation and Astronautics Day - a memorable date dedicated to the first manned flight into space. This is a special day - the day of the triumph of science and all those who work in the space industry today. The first space flight lasted 108 minutes. Nowadays, when many months of expeditions are made on orbiting space stations, it seems very short. But each of these minutes was the discovery of the unknown. The flight of Yuri Gagarin proved that man can live and work in space. This is how a new profession appeared on Earth - an astronaut.
As a holiday, the Day of Cosmonautics was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 9, 1962, and received international status in 1968 at a conference of the International Aviation Federation. On April 12, Russia celebrates Cosmonautics Day to commemorate the first space flight made by Yuri Gagarin on the Vostok spacecraft. In 2016, this event turns 55. Libraries of the Bogotolsky District prepared and held various events dedicated to this significant date.

"Space Relay"

On April 12, the Bolshekosulskaya Library hosted the Space Relay, timed to coincide with the Cosmonautics Day.

The purpose of this event: to expand children's ideas about astronautics, to form a sense of patriotism through familiarity with the great achievements of the Russian people, to develop the creative abilities of students through the use of game elements. The event was attended by 14 children.

The alternation of intellectual and sports and entertainment competitions made the event attractive for both boys and girls.

The librarians introduced the children to the history of the holiday, told about the first cosmonaut Yu. A. Gagarin, about the first manned flight in space which lasted only 108 minutes, but it was the most difficult and dangerous, and it was proved that a person can live and work in outer space... A little over an hour after this flight, Yuri Gagarin became the most famous person on Earth.

After that, the librarians invited the children to take part in the "Space Relay". It was attended by two teams "Stargazers" and "Gagarin". The guys from each team fought for the title of "Best Star Squad".

"Through hardship to the stars"

On April 12, the Krasnozavodsk library hosted an information and educational game "Through hardships to the stars" for students in grades 3-4, dedicated to the Day astronautics.

The event began with a story by the head of the library, M. V. Panfilova, about a national holiday, about what now seems familiar to us, that spaceships start from Earth. Docking takes place in the high heavenly distances spacecraft... Astronauts live and work in space stations for months, automatic stations leave for other planets.

You may ask, "What's so special about that?" But after all, quite recently, space flights were spoken of as fantasy. And on October 4, 1957, a new era began - the era of space exploration. On April 12, 1961, for the first time in the world, the first cosmonaut of the planet made a flight on the Vostok spacecraft. It was our citizen Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin. The inhabitants of the Earth will always remember with gratitude the names of people who discovered a new sphere of human activity.

The story of the birth of cosmonautics was told to the accompaniment of quiet melodies about cosmonautics, in verse form by the presenters P. S. Zhiganova (representative of the social protection MBU KTSSON) and M. V. Panfilova. The children watched with great interest the presentation of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, from which they learned not only about the first cosmonauts, but also about famous designers, as well as about the first pier on the coast of the Universe, which became the Baikonur cosmodrome.

Then all those present actively joined the game program, dividing into two teams "Cosmos" and "Gagarin", the guys visited six space stations. Entertaining contests: "What we will take with us into space", "Space riddles", "Meeting with aliens", "Radio operators' competition", "Designers laboratory", "Space training", "Meeting with aliens" raised the fighting spirit of the guys. All participants were recognized as space connoisseurs.

The Gagarintsy team won, one point ahead of the Cosmos team. Everyone, satisfied with their success, received sweet prizes. This wonderful event is over, but there are still many interesting meetings for children and teenagers ahead.

In a space rocket
Called "East"
He is the first on the planet
I was able to rise to the stars.
Sings songs about it
Spring drops,
Will be together forever
Gagarin and April.

It was on April 12, exactly 55 years ago, on this day, that the whole world applauded this man, who in less than 2 hours became known in the most remote corners of the Earth. The feat of Yuri Gagarin - the world's first orbital space flight, during which three absolute world space records were set: flight duration - 108 minutes (1 hour 48 minutes); flight altitude - 327.7 km; lifting the load to this height - 4,725 kg. This flight was unique.

The librarian also introduced the children to interesting facts from the biography of Yuri Gagarin.

The head of the club, N. A. Emelyanova, conducted a quiz about Space and contests: “In the solar kingdom, the Space state”, “Man on the threshold of the Universe”, “Lunar mosaic”, “Pioneer means the first”. The children were happy to guess space riddles.

At the end of the event, the librarian introduced the children to books about astronomy and stars, and congratulated all those present on the Day of Cosmonautics.
