Military uniforms from different countries. Unusual military uniform of various countries. Photos of women's ceremonial uniforms

Today, countries do not skimp on the creation of an "exclusive" military image. Regardless of the type of military formation, the requirements for military clothing are the same everywhere: they must be comfortable, wear-resistant and, according to the Hague conventions, have national identification marks. In this article, we have made a selection of the most striking outfits.

Military establishment Republic of Fiji consist of two divisions: the ground army and the naval forces.

The ceremonial military uniform of the guard of honor is a red jacket and a white skirt, shoes are not provided. The honor guard can be found at the service at the mausoleum former president Fiji.

They did not come up with anything new for the parade uniform of the South Korean honor guard company: the uniform represents the traditional army attire of the Joseon era.

It looks like a robe with a hat, but for Koreans it carries a deep sacred meaning of ethnicity.

Marines dress uniform France dazzling white... The main accessory of this “image” is a white beret, which looks more like a chef's hat.

The sappers have their own must have - an apron designed to carry tools during neutralization. Veterans of the sapper regiment usually wear beards.

Naval, artillery and air military forces near the dwarf state Vatican no, but there is the "Pope's Holy Guard" Swiss Infantry Cohort, consisting of 100 people.

This cohort cannot boast of military power, but it is deservedly considered the oldest army in the world, founded already in 1506 and still existing today. Their military uniform was created at the same time and has not undergone any special changes until today. Another curious fact: the Vatican is formally the most militarized country in the world, because out of 560 inhabitants, 100 are military personnel.

Military guard Kingdom of Thailand wears a multi-colored uniform.

The bright red and white uniforms are intended for the personal protection of the king.

The gunners wear yellow and green uniforms, and the sky-blue tunics are sewn for the Air Force.

Islamic Republic of Iran keeps under seven seals all the information concerning the military potential of the country, while keeping the whole world in fear by the well-established production of ballistic missiles.

It seems that for these purposes they can also use their camouflage uniforms.

Elite Infantry Unit Greece called "evzones" - they can be found at the Presidential Palace and the Greek Parliament.

And if at the Fiji guard of honor the skirt is worn on bare legs, then at the "Evzones" long white stockings are also provided. The skirt is pleated, and there should be exactly 400 folds on it. It is not so easy to become an "evzone": men with a height of at least 187 cm are admitted to the elite unit, and you must have an extremely attractive appearance.

Kazakhstan is still a very young state with a rich history of coming to its own statehood and independence.

The uniform of the Kazakh honor guard is distinguished by its consistency colors and clear lines, and her story has just begun.

France

These are the orange aprons worn by the sappers of the French Foreign Legion. In the Bastille Day parade, they do not carry any load, but in the field they can accommodate various instruments. Legion veterans wear beards. There are other options for combat aprons, which compete with unloading vests in terms of consumer qualities.

Vatican

The Vatican does not have an army of its own. Therefore, even such a shrine as the Pope is guarded by the hired corps of the Swiss Guard, founded in the 16th century. Since the Catholic guards have no time to read fashionable army magazines, their form, developed by Michelangelo himself, has not changed for 400 years.

Italy

The police officers of Rome, walking in their uniforms in Piazza Navona, are very similar to Count Dracula.

Italian military hats are also of interest. "Bye-bye-swingingeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" :)

And also the brave Italian guard:

Greece

It is strange, but often the soldiers of the guard of honor are dressed up in the funniest form, guarding quite serious and even holy places. This is what the soldiers of the presidential guard look like - Greek evzones marching at the grave Unknown Soldier in Athens.

The changing of the guard of the presidential guard is the most lively curiosity in Athens. In such a heavy and warm form, it's not like walking - it's not easy to stand. In the summer, in the heat at forty, in double woolen stockings, heavy boots - five kilograms each, in a hat-fez that does not look like a panama hat at all, and even with a carbine - to march a real feat!

In translation, Evzon means "well belted". One of the "belted" has a special position: this person is obliged to make sure that the clothes of those at the post are always in perfect order. And at the same time, and so that tourists, trying to take a photo near the Evzones, do not cross the line of reason.

At 11 am every Sunday in Athens there is a parade changing of the guard. The ceremony is attended by the entire personnel of the Evzon company - more than 150 people. On the eve of the event, the police block the avenue along which a procession with an orchestra at the head will leave the barracks to the main square of the country. During each parade changing of the guard, the orchestra traditionally sings the national anthem.

It seems that, marching, the Evzones make a lot of unnecessary, too “ceremonial” movements. But this is exactly what their traditional marching step looks like. Strange-looking boots with pumpons - tsarukhs - weigh 5 kilograms each, and each is lined with 60 steel nails. Nails - so that the Evzones can clink beautifully on the pavement. The sound of “well belted” footsteps cannot be compared to anything. Pumpons - also with meaning. Once the Evzones hid in them a dangerous and insidious weapon - sharply sharpened knives, with which they could unexpectedly hit the enemy. That is why they are so diligently demonstrating pumpons as they walk along the pavement.

Not everyone is taken to evzones. The candidate must be handsome and tall - at least 187 tall and, moreover, psychologically stable. The military step of the recruits is not taught for too long, only 5 weeks, but the classes are very intense. After training, the soldiers are allowed to guard at the Parliament and the entrance to the Presidential Palace.

South Korea

The wardrobe of the Royal Guard of South Korea is as similar to a military uniform as a squirrel suit to a judge's robes. Nevertheless, these courageous and tough warriors belong to the elite units and are capable of solving the most difficult combat missions. They just must not want to flaunt it, so they traditionally dress up in robes, underpants and tall hats.

And this is how the dress uniform of the South Korean diving troops looks like:

And here the attention to the South Korean parade was attracted rather not by the uniform, but by the actions of the military :)

Fiji

Believe it or not, these guys in tattered skirts and slippers are also the most honorable of the Fiji President's guard.

Russia

Black Sea elite combat swimmers at the celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol. In order not to step on each other's fins, the fighters did without them.

Thailand

December 5, National Day in Thailand - Birthday of His Majesty the King. In a colorful ceremony at the Royal Plaza in Bangkok, the elite units of the Royal Guard, similar to a box of pencils, solemnly confirm their oath of allegiance to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Iran

Female troops:

India and Pakistan

The Evening Dawn Ceremony is a complex, highly artistic ritual performed by Pakistani and Indian border guards to the delight of tourists at the checkpoint in the city of Amritsar. Takes place daily before sunset.

It must be understood that this is a purely local custom, because the tradition of lowering the flag at the Wagah checkpoint originated in 1947, when the newly independent British India split into India and Pakistan. Although the Indian uniform and headdresses of Pakistani and Indian border guards are from the times of colonial England.
The nightly ceremony at the post of Wag reflects all the complexities of relations between now hostile states, which were once part of one great country, demonstrating the strength and determination to defend their interests.

Here, in fact, the ceremony itself:

From the Pakistani side, the stands are chanting: "Pakistan zindaba-a-d!" ("Long live Pakistan!"), The Indian side replies: "Bharat! Bharat! " ("India! India!"). The patriotic song "My Pakistan" sounds from the speakers, drowning out the screams. Singing is also heard from the Indian side. Then an old man in a green robe runs out to the gate, the state flag fluttering in his hands. The crowd greets him with a loud cheer, "Pakistani bapu!" ("Pakistani daddy!"). It turns out that he is as much a part of the tradition as the launching ceremony. national flag... "Muslims!" - the old man invitingly shouts, referring to the stands. Long live Pakistan! The crowd replies. Music and slogans from both sides merge, forming some kind of inconceivable cacophony.

Meanwhile, in front of the flagpoles, the main action begins. Guardsmen in national uniforms appear on both sides. After difficult rearrangements, the gates are thrown open and the guards of honor greet each other. On the Pakistani side, the Rangers, huge Pashtun guys, are doing something like a war dance. Then officers from the Pakistani and Indian sides (some in black uniforms with black sultans on their heads, others in khaki uniforms and with red sultans) shake hands. The crowd in the stands greeted the handshake with loud shouts. The officers begin to lower the banners - the audience is on a rampage. Then - another handshake, and the gate slams.

Having thrown out the accumulated emotions, the audience with a sense of fulfilled civic duty, return to their business. Of course, to a certain extent this is an invented and rehearsed show, but it has the main meaning: each side seeks to show “we are peaceful citizens, we do not violate borders, we are ready for cooperation, but our strength and power will be enough to defend our interests. "

Ninzi of the 21st century. And if you also imagine that there are more than a billion of them ...

Based on materials from sites freemindforum.net, vsyako-razno.ru and ngine.com.ru.

It is not customary to laugh at the military, but now we will break this tradition a little. Going into any army in the world, a person agrees in advance to obey someone else's will. And at the same time, the will of the designers who came up with such a strange shape for this army.

1.Greece. It is strange, but often the soldiers of the guard of honor are dressed up in the funniest form, guarding quite serious and even holy places. This is how the Greek Evzones, marching at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Athens, look like. Only very cynical people can laugh at the memory of the fallen. But not all tourists manage not to laugh at the sight of these guys in completely clown clothes and funny movements.

2. India and Pakistan... The Evening Dawn Ceremony is a complex, highly artistic ritual performed by Pakistani and Indian border guards to the delight of tourists at the checkpoint in the city of Amritsar. Takes place daily before sunset. Kind of like our changing of the guard at the mausoleum, only funnier.

3. The name of the capital of Côte d'Ivoire - Abidjan - in the Ebrie language means "cut leaves". And they, in turn, symbolize the end of civil strife. Nevertheless, the country still has an army, and it is she who marches in the parade in front of the presidential palace. The original color scheme allows the soldiers to seamlessly blend in with a herd of denim zebras (if scientists ever breed such a breed).

4. And this is how the valiant canine soldiers from the K7 division with their four-legged subordinates look like. Trained Lebanese dogs will tear apart anyone who gets in their way. And if no one gets up, they will tear their own masters out of sadness and lack of demand. Therefore, even at the military parade in Beirut, all instructors are dressed in special anti-dog suits. Funny, but safe.

5. India... And this is the Indian border guards prancing on their smart camels in the center of Delhi on the occasion of the Republic Day. Of course, no one will ever recognize them as border guards, including trespassers of the Indian border. They will decide that the circus has arrived, and will boldly go to violate the border. This is where they will be caught. Hooray!

6. France... The parade uniform of the French army did not differ in particularly funny details, so the designers urgently had to supplement it with such berets. Now you can’t understand who is coming - a marine or a cook. Especially if the chef puts on battle awards, grabs his chef's machine and goes to the Bastille Day parade.

7. Fiji... Believe it or not, these barefoot half-warriors, half-women in tattered skirts are also the most honorable of the guards. Moreover, they are keeping vigil at the coffin of former Fiji President Ratu Kamisese Kapaivai Tuimakilai Mara. But even such a sad occasion did not make them change anything in their wardrobe. Well, at least put on mourning black skirts and no less mourning black slippers.

8. Haiti... Hardly anyone would dare to call Haiti a peaceful country. Haitians will always find a pretext for armed conflict, which is why their military uniforms are usually dirty, camouflaged and covered in blood. But if it comes to the parade, the Haitians do not deny themselves jewelry. Unsurprisingly, the officer looks like a Christmas tree.

9. Thailand... Each day of the week in Thailand has its own planet, its own deity, animal deity and, most importantly, its own color. And of course, every Thai resident knows the color corresponding to his birthday. And of course he knows that there are seven days in a week. You probably know too. Therefore, do not be surprised that there are nine multi-colored military men in the photo. Two extra.

10. South Korea... The wardrobe of the Royal Guard of South Korea is as similar to a military uniform as a squirrel's suit on a metropolitan's cassock. Nevertheless, these courageous and tough warriors belong to the elite units and are capable of solving the most difficult combat missions. They just don't want to flaunt it, so they traditionally dress in funny yellow robes, white underpants and tall hats.

11. We have already appreciated the berets, and now let's look at the aprons of the sappers of the French Foreign Legion. At the parade, they do not carry any load, but in the field, they can accommodate ammunition and tools. There are other variants of combat aprons, which rival those of cargo vests in terms of consumer qualities. In addition to the French, they are used by British paratroopers, the Royal Marines, the South African army, as well as mountain rifle units from a number of countries.

12. Even the photographer who filmed the Iranian army parade in Tehran was not completely sure whether the Iranian army was in front of him. You must admit that it is very difficult to determine not only the rank, but also the type of troops based on the Chinese Kalashnikov assault rifles and the green waste from the garment industry. But camouflage in the form of lush vegetation helps a lot to detect an Iranian soldier in the desert.

13. The Vatican does not have its own army. Therefore, even such a shrine as the Pope is guarded by the hired corps of the Swiss Guard, founded as early as the 16th century. Since the Catholic guards have no time to read fashionable army magazines, their form, developed by Raphael himself, has not changed for 400 years.

14. Lest you think that the South Korean army is sad people in yellow coats, we decided to show also combat swimmers. In honor of the parade, they do not hide their faces under a mask and even took their pipes out of their mouths. The hardest thing is not to step on each other's fins.

Fighter in full dress must look courageous, fearless, neat and stately. We propose to take a look at the military uniform of those peoples who have succeeded perfectly in combining all of the above characteristics and spice them up with a portion of the national flavor.

Mongolia

Although the traditional Mongolian military uniform is mainly used for the guard of honor, escorting dignitaries, diplomats and guests, the costume is reminiscent of the era of Genghis Khan. Basic red shirt with embroidery on the sleeves, high collar. A vest is put on top, and a gold medallion is clinging to the chest.

South Korea

The wardrobe of the Royal Guard of South Korea is as similar to a military uniform as a squirrel's suit on a mit-ropolite's cassock. Nevertheless, these courageous and tough warriors belong to elite units and are capable of solving the most difficult combat missions. They just don't want to flaunt it, that's why they traditionally dress in funny yellow robes, white underpants and high hats.

This uniform is a reflection of the Joseon period in Korean history and has retained many elements since 1897. It is called Gugunbok and consists of Dongdali (inner robe with scarlet sleeves and collar) and Jeonbok - sleeveless outer robe. High boots Hwa and Jeonrip - a wide-brimmed hat complete the look. Jeonrip is decorated with beads, ribbon and peacock feathers. Deungchae is a baton with a whip, which is attached to the belt in a horizontal position.

India

The Indian military uniform is designed in the spirit of the British style. This is the first state in which khaki uniforms were introduced: high trousers, protective leggings, short sleeve shirts. The uniforms of the Indian army are varied, and the belts, traditional turbans and their color also differ. An olive shirt goes well with a bright red turban-like headdress.

Switzerland

The uniforms here today have the appearance of Renaissance uniforms: dark red, blue and gold stripes cover the entire uniform. On the head of the guard soldier is a black beret or a silver Morion helmet (in the case of a parade). The sergeants wear a black top with crimson leggings, while the other officers wear an all crimson uniform. Regular troops are usually dressed in deep blue uniforms, with a flat white collar and a brown belt.

England

The military uniform here is one of the country's calling cards. The red coat color was first used in 1658. The Royal Guards are divided into five different regiments. Their representatives differ from each other in accessories and badges. The unifying elements of the uniform are a bright red jacket, dark trousers, black boots and a headdress made of bearskin.

Greece

The Greek army is mainly composed of infantry soldiers and mountain armed forces. Today their role is to guard the Presidential House and the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier located in Athens. The traditional uniform consists of Fustanella - a skirt combined with a white shirt, Fermeli - a vest (with rank details). On the feet of the soldiers are red leather shoes with black pom-poms.

From a historical point of view, the fair sex has recently become full members of the armed formations. The traditional role of women in the army is service in medical, liaison, legal, financial units and other areas not related to direct military tasks.

From the second half of the XX century, the army ranks of combat crews began to be actively replenished with girls. In the USA, France, Canada, Italy, Greece, Finland, Macedonia, Bolivia and other states, they serve on a contract basis.

A number of countries have a compulsory conscription. These include Israel, North Korea, Malaysia, Norway. Sweden also plans to introduce universal female military service from 2018.

To date, women have occupied a significant niche in the armed forces, so a special female military uniform, including a dress uniform, was required. It was developed taking into account modern requirements. In most cases, it is characterized by strict functionality and maximum comfort.
