Master class for beginners - the basis of a doll made of threads

You will need the following items:

  • Woolen or cotton threads (only natural, not synthetics!)
  • Pieces of colorful fabric, braid, ribbons, beads for decoration - at will
  • A piece of cardboard for winding the thread

Please note that when assembling the protective doll, do not use sharp objects. So scissors, pins, needles are completely out of the question! Therefore, all fabric items (skirt, headscarf, apron or other clothing) must be prepared in advance. And we will assemble the product using only our skillful fingers.

Amulet doll - step by step instructions

First of all, decide on the color of the threads from which you will "wind" the amulet. For this we chose the threads of the color of the sea wave, for the hair straw-yellow yarn is suitable, for bandaging the handles - a hot pink thread. So let's get started!

Take a piece of cardboard 10-12 centimeters wide, depending on how big your coil will be. We used the cover from an old wall calendar and folded it in half to make a pretty thick cardboard box. Start winding the thread of the selected shade on the cardboard, make about 25-30 skeins. The thicker the yarn, the fewer yarn turns will be required.

When a bundle of sufficient thickness in your opinion is formed, break off the thread and secure its end at the top of the reel, as shown in the photo. It resembles a brush - needlewomen who knit know how to make it. For beginners, it is recommended to make the knot stronger so that the doll does not fall apart when you remove it from the cardboard.

We remove the yarn from the cardboard. Bend the cardboard base slightly to make the process easier. You should have a brush like this. You do not need to cut it from below - remember that you cannot use scissors. After all, this is a protector doll that will protect your home. Let the loops remain, they can be nicely smoothed with your hands.

Take the thread of the same color as the body of the amulet doll. Drag a woolen brush with it as shown in the photo. Here you can experiment, it is not at all necessary to take a monochromatic thread, you can, on the contrary, highlight the neck line with a thread of a different color. It will be even brighter and more beautiful!

Now let's get down to the handles. Take all the same cardboard and wind the thread of the same color as the main body of the amulet. There should be half the number of skeins, otherwise the handles will turn out to be too plump. We fasten the thread with a loop and tighten the knot.

For the "palms" take raspberry-colored yarn. Cut small pieces of thread in advance, 5-7 centimeters, this should be enough to tie the "handles". Hide the tips in the body of the doll using a pencil or wooden stick. "Handles" for the amulet are ready!

Divide the "body" in half to form a hole where we will insert the "handles". They need to be raised higher, pressing them to the "head". Here we have such a "ghost" - not evil, but very cute!

Now you can proceed to decorating our amulet. Take a piece of fabric, preferably new and not synthetic. We use a pre-cut satin patch. You can knit an apron with openwork knit, or take any beautiful piece of fabric.

We fold the fabric in half, we will fix it on the doll with a red thread. We chose the red thread for a reason, since it itself is a strong talisman against many troubles and misfortunes. Woolen is worn by many people, including celebrities and public figures.

We will tie our apron to the "waist", fasten the thread with a bow at the back. Here we have such beauty! The fabric with the canvas effect looks very beautiful and original - its ends can be “tousled” by pulling out a few fibers along the edges and below. Unfortunately, now there was no such rag at hand to demonstrate how it looks like in an example. You can use gauze, bandage, burlap or embroidery canvas for this.

Moving on to the hair. As a rule, a folk doll is always a charm in a headscarf, it does not have a hairstyle. But why don't we give our doll real braids? We wind our hair onto a piece of cardboard, as before, "pens". Choose the thickness of the skein based on the type of thread. A hairstyle from silk threads looks very beautiful, but from bamboo yarn, as in the photo, it's also nothing!

Any girl, regardless of age, knows how to weave braids. When weaving, you do not need to twist the yarn tightly, let the braids be lush and beautifully laid, like the model on the catwalk!

Braids, to better hold, can be glued to the "head" of the amulet with PVA glue or transparent "moment". It is impossible to sew on hair, because we remember - there should not be any sharp objects when assembling the amulet doll!

You can decorate the head of the amulet doll as you please. Here you can use any decoration - beads or small beads gathered on a thread, an elegant headscarf from a piece of fabric, lace. We chose a wreath for our Bereginya, knitted of threads of two colors - salad and pale orange shades. We knit the wreath in a loose knit so that the "pigtail" can stretch a little. We tie the ends of the wreath together, closing the circle.

To prevent the wreath from slipping off the pupa's hair, it can also be glued. That's it, Bereginya is ready! Now you can assign her to her permanent place of residence - in the kitchen, in the bedroom, on the windowsill, or right in a bouquet of flowers!

A self-made folk doll can be used not only as a talisman. It can be a cool toy for a child, a keychain, a car pendant. On the basis of our master class, you can “wind up” a couple of dolls-girls - a doll-boy. To do this, you need to divide the skirt into two parts and form legs from them. You can decorate the craft to your liking - glue short hair, tie a bandana, attach a foil saber to its side, etc.

In our high-tech time, the amulet doll, of course, can be found much less often, however, in recent times there is a growing interest among Russians in the magical objects of their ancestors.

Protective dolls are always made from natural materials.

Slavic amulet dolls were of particular importance and made them exclusively with their own hands, while using only natural materials. Synthetic fabrics or threads will never be able to perceive the energy of a person in full and, accordingly, no magic power the made little thing will not possess.

Slavic amulet dolls and their meaning

We usually associate the word "doll" with a toy. However, this does not apply to amulet dolls, with a few exceptions: there were several varieties of such amulets for babies, which, in addition to protective functions, also served as a toy for the baby. Basically, the amulet doll took the most honorable place in the house and enjoyed the respectful attitude of all family members. There were also ritual dolls that were made specifically for some big holiday, and then burned in a ritual fire.

There were always several magic dolls in ancient Slavic families, and each had its own purpose. Often, these dolls were inherited from generation to generation, because they were valued as family heirlooms. Slavic amulet dolls protected from damage, evil eye and all kinds of misfortunes, took care of the health of family members and ensured well-being in the house.

The faces of the dolls should never be done.

Outwardly, the dolls looked different, their appearance depended on their purpose. The experience of the craftswoman was also of great importance. However, the main rule was always strictly observed - the ancient Slavic dolls never had facial features.

The ancient Slavs believed that by giving the doll individuality, they could draw attention to it. dark forces as to the prototype of a specific person. In this case, the doll, instead of protection, could attract negativity into the house.

In addition, willingly or unwillingly, the craftswoman, highlighting the eyes, nose and mouth of the doll, made it similar to a specific person. In this case, the magical potential of the amulet doll was significantly reduced, and the doll itself turned out to be energetically connected with the person whom it resembled by facial features.

In addition to protective properties, Slavic amulet dolls had other meanings:

  1. They helped the hostess in her chores around the house.
  2. Young girls were assisted in finding a worthy groom.
  3. For big holidays and important family dates, a special doll was made, which by all means on this day had to be with all family members.

Ash

The ash doll contains a part of the hearth

This doll was by all means in every home. She protected the house and people in the house from all kinds of attacks from the dark forces. When creating it, a handful of ash from the hearth was used, therefore, her name is Ash.

The ash was mixed with something for strength so that a ball could be rolled out of the resulting mixture. This ball became the basis for the doll's head, the rest, as usual, was done using fabric and threads. This doll differs from the others in that no hair or headdress has ever been made for it.

The ash doll stayed with the family throughout its life, it was often inherited by subsequent generations, but passed only through the female line, that is, from mother to daughter. The ash doll symbolizes the unity of generations and helps young women who have just become housewives in taking care of their home and family.

An ash doll was also made when moving to a new place of residence. At the same time, ash was taken from the hearth of the old house.

Krupenichka

Krupenichka has always been considered a symbol of wealth in the house.

It was permissible for the hostesses to make dolls Krupenichek only with their own hands. Krupenichka provided enough food in the house so that none of the family members would go hungry. The place in the house for Krupenichka was chosen so that she was always in full view. As a rule, the Krupenichka doll found refuge in the living room, sometimes in the kitchen.

The Krupenichka doll has always been revered by the Slavs as one of the main home amulets.

The name of Krupenichka comes from the fact that when making this amulet, grains were laid inside the doll. For this, a bag was made, which later became the basis of the doll's body. During the sowing period, the grains from Krupenichka were the first to be sown in the field and personified the hope for a good harvest. Krupenichka regularly took care of the harvest, and the first harvested grains were again put into the doll's body.

In appearance, they tried to make Krupenichka complete, because the thin one could not justify the hopes placed on her.

Today, in urban settings, the Krupenichka doll can also help to ensure prosperity. You just need to put a handful of any cereal in her body. Groats need to be used for food from time to time, replacing the empty place with new cereals.

Herbalist

Herbalist is a strong talisman against the evil eye

The herbalist or, in other words, the Kubyshka is a doll that is necessary in any home. This amulet protects against negative attacks from the outside, has a beneficial effect on family relationships and purifies the atmosphere in the house.

The Kubyshka doll was made plump, and its insides were filled with medicinal and aromatic herbs. The herbs were changed from time to time for new ones, so that the house with the Kubyshka (Herbalist) always had the aroma of wild plants and felt comfort and coziness.

The place of the Kubyshka doll in the house is at the entrance, above the door, because its purpose is to protect the family and home from extraneous dark thoughts. The Slavs believed that even if a person came to the house with bad intentions, then, passing under the Kubyshka, he would forget his evil thoughts.

If there was a small child in the house, then the Kubysh doll was placed next to him in order to reliably protect the baby from a possible evil eye.

The Slavs believed that in the period from birth to baptism, the child is open to the dark forces, so the Swaddling clothes were made without fail - to protect the babies.

Then the Pelenashka doll was removed, but not destroyed. If a child fell ill, then Pelenashka again became his protector, being next to him and taking on his illness.

Sometimes wheat grains were put into Podorozhnitsa's bag - a symbol of the fact that hunger would not overtake a person on the way.

Rules for making amulets dolls

When making amulets dolls, you must follow some rules.

The ancient Slavs had several rules for making amulets dolls, which must be observed in order for the amulet to gain strength and perform its protective functions:

  • you should have a positive emotional attitude at work, you should not be disturbed or distracted by anything, you should be physically healthy. If something oppresses you, postpone the work on the doll to another, more suitable day;
  • you shouldn't have any negative thoughts about someone or something. The negative energy of thought during work is easily transferred to the future amulet. In this case, instead of a positive result of work, you can get a negative one;
  • making dolls is preferable during the waxing moon. The day of the week is of no fundamental importance, but it is better not to plan work on Sundays and holidays;
  • when working on reeled dolls, needles, scissors and other similar items should not be used. The threads are broken off by hand (in extreme cases, they are bitten off), and tying is used instead of needles;
  • when tying knots, you need to monitor their number - it must be even. Tying each knot, you need to pronounce one of the desires ( physical health, material wealth and so on),
  • if the doll is made on a rigid base, then use two twigs or chips, placing them in a cross;
  • for the manufacture of dolls, only natural materials are used, and the threads for tying are always chosen in red.

How to read a doll

You can learn a lot from your favorite doll.

If you have made a doll-amulet for yourself, then you can tell fortunes and learn something new and, sometimes, unexpected about yourself. The main thing is to be sincere.

First of all, take a fresh look at your doll and note what you are not satisfied with or what you would like to replace. For example, excessive brightness or, on the contrary, the fadedness of the dress, the disparity of the hands, or something else like that.

If you are struck by the uneven posture of the doll, then this may mean that you are now in an unstable situation. If the doll's clothes did not please you, then maybe you should pay attention to your style of communication with people.

You need to draw analogies from the doll's defects that caught your eye to your own life attitudes and situations.

It is not necessary to look only for negative points. In addition to them, you can note what you clearly like about your doll and likewise open up positive qualities in yourself and please yourself.

How to part with a doll-amulet

When the amulet doll fulfills its purpose, they say goodbye to it

Usually dolls are made for a very long time, often they are passed from generation to generation. But it also happens that the dolls wear out, because they are made of ordinary materials, although the amulet itself is a magical object. In addition, if your amulet doll has protected you from a large amount of negativity directed at you, then it may simply "overflow" with negative energy and stop working. In this case, you also need to make a new doll.

It is impossible in any case to just throw out the amulet like rubbish. A crafted magic item should not be left at home either. You need to say goodbye to your doll properly. Here's what to do:

  • say goodbye to the doll in your mind. Pay attention to your emotional condition- if you feel pity or loss, then your amulet is still working and the time has not come to say goodbye to it;
  • if you feel a bright feeling of gratitude, then you have correctly identified the time of separation. Calmly and neatly, the doll must be disassembled into its constituent shreds and threads. Thus, the existence of the amulet ceases;
  • when parsing the doll, you still cannot use sharp objects, everything must be done with your hands. If the thread or shred is torn, do not worry, it means that it was necessary;
  • scraps and threads must be burned, they cannot be used for the next doll, because these materials are saturated with negative energy;
  • when you burn the doll, thank her and say goodbye again;
  • Do not throw away the remaining ash either, just spread it outside the window.

Are you making enough money?

Check if this applies to you:

  • there is enough money from paycheck to paycheck;
  • the salary is only enough for rent and food;
  • debts and loans take away everything that comes with great difficulty;
  • all promotions go to someone else;
  • you are sure that you are paid too little at work.

Perhaps you have been corrupted by money. This amulet will help to remove the lack of money.

In the history of each nation, amulets occupy a special place. The ancient Slavs considered reeled dolls to be the most powerful protective item. These rag crafts played a very important role: they protected from the evil eye, helped with the household and in solving material problems, with their help they cleansed the house of negative energy. Such amulets accompanied a person throughout his life, and some of them were created by the mother just before the birth of the baby. There were always several magic dolls in the house, and each of them performed its own "duties". Often they became family heirlooms, they were passed from father to son, from mother to daughter.

Varieties of amulets dolls

Each magic doll had its own purpose. The ceremonial ash pupa was considered responsible for the well-being of the family. The toy had only a head made from sifted and then moistened and compressed ash. Hands and feet were not given to her, so that she could not leave the home entrusted to her.

The ritual toy necessarily had a doll, whose body was wrapped in a swaddle and a swaddle. The ash doll was presented as a gift by the mother of the bride at the wedding; the couple always took the amulet with them when they moved to a new house.

The doll was a symbol of well-being and the imminent birth of offspring. Wives often gave the toy to their husbands when they set off on a long journey. This kind of gift had a symbolic meaning: the power of the native fire was supposed to protect the man, protect him from illness and adversity on the way.

The ash doll was passed on through the female line and was considered the keeper of the hearth

The doll Krupenichka or, as it was also called, Zernushka was also considered the keeper of the hearth. She was "responsible" for satiety and prosperity in the family. The basis of the doll was a canvas bag filled with buckwheat. In some regions, it was allowed to replace buckwheat with wheat or peas.

When sowing, the first handfuls of grain were taken from the amulet doll, which guaranteed a good harvest. After the harvest, the craft was filled with new seeds and stored until next year in the most honorable place. If the family was in a difficult financial situation, then they cooked porridge from the cereals embedded in the doll. It was believed that in this way Mother Earth herself gives the owners strength. According to Krupenichka's condition, the guests judged the well-being in the house. If she was skinny, then everything was not going well in the family.

A pregnant woman made a diaper for the unborn baby, reading prayers for the health and happiness of the child. To make the amulet, they took only "native" fabrics from the mother's sundress or from the shirt of the father or grandfather. The finished doll was placed in the cradle of the newborn, where it lay until the very baptism, protecting the baby from evil spirits that threatened the baby not protected by the cross. After the baptismal ceremony, the Swaddle was removed from the crib and stored along with the baptismal clothes.

The magical power of the amulet in some regions was also used for a faster conception of a child. Immediately after moving to her husband's house, the newly-made wife was put on her knees a doll, which was supposed to transfer maternal strength to the woman.

Kuvadka in its magical meaning is close to the Pelenashka, but the child's father used it. While the woman was giving birth, the husband had to "play" with the amulet to protect the woman in labor and the baby from the influence of evil spirits. There were always several dolls made, in an odd number. Otherwise, Kuvadka could not only be useless, but also cause harm.

At different times, there was a kind of ritual "kuvada". Until the 19th century, despite the fact that the birth of a baby was viewed as God's goodness, the process itself was considered something dirty, unrighteous. Ancient people believed that the torment of a woman in childbirth and a baby was the intervention of evil forces. To stop this, a basket of fresh eggs was placed in the dressing room, since they were considered the fundamental principle of the origin of life. The future father sat on them, pretending to incubate chickens. At the same time, he needed to make loud sounds, similar to the screams of a woman in labor, with which he scared away evil spirits. To prevent the deceived evil spirits from becoming even more angry and not returning to the house, they hung couvadok dolls in front of the entrance. People believed: since toys that look like people are the first to fall into the eyes of evil spirits, it will move into them. The born baby was hidden until the ritual of purification, and the father took the dolls. Subsequently, Kuvadok was burned.

After the 19th century, the ancient rite was forgotten, but the dolls remained. True, they were used in a different way. Now they were not considered objects in which evil spirits were possessed; on the contrary, they gave strength to the baby and the woman in labor. After giving birth, the bereginas were hung over the cradle of the baby, and when he grew up, they also became toys.

The ten-pen was used as an au pair. Making a doll, the craftswoman thought of a separate case for each of her hands, in which she was supposed to help her. Usually bereginya was made of straw. The Ten-Handle also has a thick braid, which was decorated with multi-colored ribbons - this symbolized the femininity of its owner. Very often, a talisman was presented to brides as a dowry or to a young wife, so that she would have everything to argue about the household.

The Lovebirds were trusted to protect and preserve the family. At the wedding, this amulet occupied the most honorable place - the dolls were planted in the crown of the first team, where the newlyweds themselves were.

The wedding motanka consisted of two separate toys connected with one hand. One of the dolls had characteristic masculine features, the other was feminine. Thus, they wanted to show the unity of the spouses. It was believed that from the moment Lovebirds appeared in the family, a man and a woman would support each other in everything, be together in sorrow and joy. The amulet was supposed to be made by the future mother-in-law or bridesmaids just before the wedding.

The Herbal Egg was supposed to purify the air in the hut. They hung it either over the cradle of the child, or in the place where the air stagnated. The amulet was filled with fragrant medicinal herbs. If necessary, the doll was crumpled with hands so that a pleasant aroma spread throughout the house. People believed that this smell will drive away evil spirits that bring sickness and hardship to the family. The grass was stored in the doll for exactly two years, after which it was changed to fresh.

Fatty Kostromushka was intended for a woman who could not get pregnant for a long time. The doll was sewn by relatives on the female side and put in a prominent place from the side entrance doors... The toy with all its appearance demonstrated satiety and wealth in order to attract a child's soul. The doll was dressed in an elegant dress, and boots were always put on thin legs. The amulet was stuffed with flax strips. After the baby appeared in the family, the toy was carried away to the female half and hidden from prying eyes.

The zhelanitsa had to fulfill the cherished desire of the person who made her. The ritual is performed on the growing moon, it is believed that a month after that, the plan will come true. They put the finished doll in front of them, told her what they wanted and made a gift in the form of beads or beautiful ribbons. Then they brought a mirror to Zhelannitsa and said: “Look, what a beauty you are. Accept my present, and for this, fulfill your cherished desire. "

Beregini dolls were necessarily faceless. The Slavs believed that if the chrysalis has no face, it means that there is no soul that evil forces could take possession of.

During the month, gifts were made to the doll from time to time, but they had to be different from the original ones. For example, you could tie a bright thread on her wrist or sew a coin on her dress. They kept the doll in a separate bag or chest and did not show it to anyone. People believed that if a toy caught the eye of another person, then what they wanted would not come true.

Zhelanitsa was always loaded with gifts in the form of bright ribbons, beads or shiny coins.

The Day and Night doll was created from two separate toys. The light one personified the daytime, and the dark one - the nighttime. The day watches people, while it is light, so that on weekdays they do not take time off from work, and on weekends and holidays - they have a rest and have fun. Doll Night is the mistress of darkness. Her responsibility was to protect the sleep of household members.

Appointment of beregin

The described dolls are only a small part of the amulets that were used by the ancient Slavs. Ragged rags played an important role in the life of our ancestors. People believed that such crafts have incredible power and can protect against diseases and the evil eye, help in childbirth, and improve the well-being of the family. Each doll had its own energy and was responsible for a certain sphere of life:

  • for the house - Bereginya, mistress-well-being, lady-Ladushka, Bell, Verbnitsa, Stolbushka, Broomstick;
  • for mother and child - a bunny on a finger, a gift for a gift, a children's Comforter, a doll on a spoon, a shape-shifting puppet, Moskovka, Insomnia;
  • for newlyweds - Lovebirds, Murashen couple, Grove, wedding Kuvadka;
  • for good luck - Successful;
  • health - Angel, Likhomanki;
  • for marriage - Cabbage, Happiness.

Many people think that all beregini were feminine, but this is not so. There were three male dolls that were responsible for the craft: the twins Kozma and Demyan, the rump of Andropushko.

Mandatory rules for creating protective dolls

Making amulets dolls is a kind of secret ritual, so you need to carefully prepare for it:

  • the process is carried out in complete silence;
  • before starting work, a woman reads a prayer or conspiracy;
  • thoughts should be extremely positive, the mood of the craftswoman is transmitted to the coast;

  • The reel must be finished on the same day, otherwise the protection will be interrupted, and the doll will begin not to help, but to harm the owner.

The dolls were created exclusively by women, since it was believed that in the process the craftswoman transfers them positive energy, comparable in strength to maternal love... Men were not allowed to be in the room where the dolls were made, and even to catch a glimpse of the manufacturing process.

  • for good harvest- to the growing moon;
  • family or for the successful completion of the case - on the full moon;

Dolls from threads: master class

For a doll, red threads are most often used. If there are few of them, the amulet is made from other bright threads, but the wrist is necessarily tied with red.

To make a do-it-yourself protective doll, they take a skein of thread prepared for the body and wrap it around any rectangular object (board, book). The number of turns is not critical, but usually 30-50 turns are made. After that, the threads are cut and tied into a bundle. In the same way, a shorter winding is prepared - it will be the hair of the beregin. For the hands, make another bundle of threads for the body, only bandage it on both sides.

When all the blanks are done, they begin to form the doll itself. The bun for the body and hair is folded in a cross and folded, connecting the edges. The blanks are tied up, forming the head of the amulet. After that, the bundle, which plays the role of hands, is passed through the "body" and tied up again. The base of the doll is ready, it remains to decorate it with colored ribbons or beads.

Other amulets dolls

Amulets were not always made of rags or threads. They could be embroidered, drawn, or crocheted.

Embroidered amulets

Amulets were embroidered with cotton, silk, woolen or linen threads. Synthetics are considered dead, so they are not suitable for creating a magic talisman. You can decorate the embroidery as you like: with a keychain, a pillow, a napkin, etc. The only thing to remember is that the more often the amulet contacts the owner, the more benefit it will bring.

  • charms for profit and health were embroidered on the growing moon;
  • The 2nd lunar day was used to create children's amulets;
  • on the 4th and 6th they embroidered the Veles symbol;
  • The 10th was used to create marital amulets;
  • embroidery was started on the waning moon, which was supposed to get rid of enemies or diseases.

It was necessary to embroider amulets only with natural threads.

Knitted amulets dolls

Currently, amulets are made in all sorts of ways. Needlewomen knit berein dolls with crochet or knitting needles. Such a toy helps its owner no less than a motanka.

To knit a Beregini doll with knitting needles, you need to prepare:

  • yarn "Souffle" beige, red, blue, white and yellow - 30 g each;
  • knitting needles number 2;
  • threads;
  • synthetic winterizer.

Execution technique:

  1. Torso and head. Take a white thread, dial 15 sts, knit 25 rows with the front satin stitch and close the loops. The finished flap is sutured along the long side. It is pulled together from one edge and filled with padding polyester. A thread of any color is used to separate the head.
  2. Breast. With a red thread, dial 12 sts and knit 18 rows with the front stitch. The hinges are closed. A little padding polyester is placed in the center of the resulting part and twisted with a thread so that a ball is obtained. The second part is made in the same way. Two ready-made balls are wound to the body of the future amulet.
  3. Threads white dial 12 sts and knit a fabric of 30 rows. The hinges are closed. Sew the part along the long side. They take a red thread and pull together the details from one edge, as if on a doll's wrist. The same is done with the second side, after which the arms are tied to the body.
  4. Skirt. Threads yellow color dial 30 sts and knit a fabric of 30 rows, adding 5 loops in every second row. Then they switch to blue thread and knit 10 more rows of garter stitch (row - front, row - purl). The hinges are closed. A side seam is made to form a skirt. At the top, the dolls are pulled together and attached to the body.
  5. Klondike. Take a yellow thread, dial 3 sts and knit 32 rows with the front ones, adding 1 st in each row. After that, knit 4 more rows of garter stitch and close the loops. The finished scarf is tied to the doll. Bereginya is ready!

There is a belief that the first handmade amulet doll cannot be given or sold, as this can bring misfortune.

How to activate the amulet doll

To get it to work, you need to charge it. They sit the doll in front of them and say: "You are not a doll now, you are a talisman!" The words are spoken three times. Then a glass is placed on the table pure water, a bag with a handful of earth, a burning candle and an aroma stick. These items represent 4 elements: fire, water, air and earth. The future amulet is carried three times in a circle over these objects, while asking to save the family from misfortunes and illnesses. Then they express gratitude to the elements for their help.

What to do if the amulet is over

If the amulet is torn or fulfilled the goal assigned to it, the owner needs to break the connection with him. This must be done correctly in order to avoid negative impact from the outside. For this purpose, you need to turn to the elements of water or fire and give them a doll: burn it or throw it into a pond. At the same time, one should say: "Take water (fire) my gift, let it serve you as faithfully as it does me!"
