Summer gazebo in the country with a barbecue grill. Summer resident's dream: a gazebo with a barbecue. Projects, photos, videos and expert recommendations. Roof fabrication and installation

We will send the material to you by e-mail

The suburban area has its mandatory attributes, without which it is difficult to imagine outdoor recreation. Sauna with a steam room, a cozy garden and, of course, a gazebo with barbecue facilities. Projects, photos of similar structures can be found in available sources. How to choose a drawing, where to place a gazebo, what to build it from - in this material.

In a small cozy gazebo there should be enough space for all guests.

Before proceeding with the construction, you need to study the possible options for gazebos, choose a design that is ideal for the particular location of the site.

Such structures can be of three types:

  • open;
  • closed;
  • half open.

There are no walls in the open gazebo. In fact, it is, which is used only in the warm season.

Closed buildings can be used all year round. They are solid and are established, as they say, for centuries. In such a gazebo, you can zone the space, separating the dining area from the kitchen.

The semi-open structure is a kind of compromise. In summer it is not hot in such a structure, and in winter it is sheltered from strong winds by three walls. If desired, you can make the fourth wall transformable.

An example of transformation - a wall of tempered glass, going to "accordion"

Choosing a material

There are many options from which to build a gazebo with a barbecue with your own hands. They need to be selected taking into account the design features, the landscape of the site, and their own capabilities. If the construction experience is not very great, you should not take on too complex projects.

Traditionally, gazebos are built of wood, stone or metal.

wooden fairy tale

Wood is a warm natural material, traditional for our latitudes. Processing of structural elements can be very different.

Table 1. Advantages and disadvantages of the material

prosMinuses
The tree makes it possible to implement any design projects.Wood is a fire hazardous material. The arrangement of the barbecue in such a gazebo requires special measures to prevent accidental fire.
Low cost of material and construction work. Lightweight foundation.The tree requires constant care. It must be treated from insects, permanently painted or varnished, and made sure that rot and fungus do not form.
No need to use special machinery or tools for construction
Wooden buildings with proper care will last for decades.

foundation stone

Block or stone - all these materials allow you to build a solid structure that is not afraid of time or the vagaries of the weather.

Design of a barbecue area in a country house: projects, photos

It is not enough to choose the material for the gazebo, you also need to decorate it beautifully and stylishly. This can be done without spending extra money and effort. Let's look at simple original solutions, their stylistic features.

french chalet

Style Features:

To maintain the style, you can place hunting attributes in the room: skins or animal heads. A less “masculine” option is decoration with clay dishes, wreaths and garlands. For decoration, natural, not too bright colors are used: brown, terracotta, red, gray.All pieces of furniture and decor are made of wood while preserving the natural texture.

The charm of the classics

Style Features:

  • the use of marble and wood in decoration;
  • pastel colors in the interior.

For decoration, forged elements, curly cornices are used. Decorate a classic gazebo with flowers in pots and vases.

Oriental motif

The term "Oriental style" is suitable for Arabic, Japanese, Chinese architectural types. The ascetic Japanese-Chinese direction is more suitable for giving.

Style Features:

  • the use of natural materials, including bamboo and cane;
  • multi-tiered figured roof with upward angles;
  • the use of calm colors in the interior.

To decorate such a room, rice paper, mats, miniature furniture, and floor lamps are used.

Modern style

Similar projects of gazebos with barbecue and barbecue for summer cottages use a combination of materials. It is acceptable to use plastic and glass, wood and chrome.

Cozy Provence

The most favorite style of summer residents. It can apply not only to the gazebo, but also to all the buildings of the site.

Style Features:

  • spaciousness of the room;
  • the use of combinations of coarse and lace textiles;
  • wicker and forged furniture;
  • decoration with vases, candlesticks, paintings.

The right selection of barbecues and barbecues for summer cottages: photos of devices

Another important stage in the arrangement of the gazebo is the selection of the brazier. Let's look at models, projects, photos. The gazebo with barbecue should be made in the same style, so that the brazier should also correspond to the chosen direction.

Factory brazier options:

  • Electric grills. From them there will be smoke and soot, sparks will not damage the floor and will not cause a fire. The electric brazier is a compact design that can be disassembled and reassembled if necessary.

  • Cast iron. Durable, reliable device. Such a brazier does not deform from heat, like its steel counterpart. Cast iron retains heat well, so it does not require too much fuel.

  • Steel. Their main advantage is their low cost. In such a grill you can cook any dishes. Over time, it burns out, but it doesn’t matter, for such a price you can buy a new one.

Stone braziers - a stationary option. You can build such a brazier from heat-resistant bricks yourself, without having special skills. This design is not afraid of heat, it will last as long as the gazebo.

Arbor with barbecue: projects, photos of placement on the site

When determining a place to place a resting place, you need to consider the following points:

  • distance from home. Do not place the building too far away. You will need to bring dishes and food from home to set the table;

  • the presence of a reservoir in the area. Accommodation near the water is ideal;

  • possibility of communication. It is very convenient when it is possible to conduct water and sewerage into the building. You can wash food and dishes on the spot.

Having dealt with the placement of the structure, you need to prepare a detailed drawing. Drawing examples:

Table 4. What is important to consider when drawing up a drawing

OptionsBased on what is calculated
Entrance opening heightCalculated from the average height of a person. If there are people in the family with growth above average, this should be taken into account.
Entry widthUsually it is made standard, about a meter
Element dimensionsThe standard length of sawn timber and rolled metal is six meters. In order to save money, you need to rely on this indicator.
Calculation of fasteners and materialAll structural elements are connected with fasteners. It is necessary to carefully work out all connections, taking into account the load.
  • If the stationary brazier is taken out of the canopy, you can protect the masonry from rain with acrylic varnish.
  • When laying out the firebox, you need to focus on the size of the skewers.

Summing up

We considered project options, photos of gazebos with barbecue facilities. On the garden plot, you can build a structure that will become not just a place for cooking barbecue, but will be the highlight of a country household and the envy of neighbors.

The gazebo is an indispensable resting place for any cottage. This is not such a capital structure that it cannot be built independently, and before starting any construction, it is necessary to draw a project. How to create a project and build a gazebo with a barbecue, barbecue and terrace with your own hands? Interesting ideas, drawings, numerous photos and a unique video will help to build a structure that decorates the site.

Type of future gazebo

Before starting the design, the shape, size, material for the manufacture of the future gazebo is selected, depending on the purpose of construction. If you only plan to protect yourself from the sun on a hot summer day, then a simple wooden canopy will do. If you plan to build a solid structure with a barbecue, a barbecue area and a terrace for family and friends, then you need to clearly plan every step, from design to construction stages.

There are several types of arbors, depending on its content:

  • brazier Products on it are cooked using skewers;
  • Russian oven. You can cook everything, but a beginner will not be able to build it correctly;
  • B-B-Q. Cooking with grids;
  • grill. The heat comes from below and from above, because. the oven is hermetically sealed;
  • cauldron Mounted on a special stove with the ability to heat wood.

The option with a barbecue and barbecue is the most common. It can be built from:

  • boards;
  • tree;
  • timber;
  • bricks;
  • stone;
  • concrete pillars.

What to consider when building

Since it is planned to build a brazier and a barbecue, all building and fire regulations are required. First of all, the structure should be open, which will ensure maximum ventilation. Besides:

  • it is necessary to choose a location so that there are no residential buildings, trees, fences and power lines nearby;
  • it is better to start building a brazier with laying a high, solid foundation that will protect against moisture on the floor;
  • a roof for a structure is a mandatory component, it will protect the interior from environmental influences;
  • the brazier is built according to strict rules. There must be 2 m of free zone in front of him. Around - at least 1 m.
  • to remove moisture from the place of cooking, the floors must be laid with a slope from the barbecue to the edge of the structure;
  • a wind screen in the form of a barred wall next to the barbecue will help protect you from the wind.

When all these points are taken into account, you can choose the type of gazebo.

Suitable shape and number of corners

If you know what the building will look like, you need to draw a sketch of it. Let him be still far from the drawing, but this step will help you correctly orient yourself with the appearance of the structure.

Attention! Corners increase the area of \u200b\u200bthe building, but hide usable space. A hexagon can be larger than a square in area, but it will be more difficult to place a stove, a terrace and a recreation area in it.

If you want to accommodate a barbecue, barbecue, eating area, relaxation area and terrace, then the gazebo can be:

  • hexagonal. Looks nice and elegant;
  • asymmetric. The shape is arbitrary, depending on what you want to place inside;
  • rectangular. The most common solution that allows you to effectively use the entire area.

Advice. When designing the form of a building, it is necessary to take into account the climate in the place of residence. The more snow falls in winter, the greater the angle of inclination of the roof should be.
In general, the roof can be single-pitched, double-pitched or have several slopes (planes).

Create a project

Having presented the appearance of the future structure, and having sketched out its sketch, you can begin to create a project. It involves an accurate drawing with the dimensions of all elements, knowledge of the foundation construction method, material of manufacture, zoning, estimates, etc. Plus - taking into account all the nuances, including the chimney.

The drawing is best done in several ways:

  • general view from the front;
  • side view;
  • sectional building.

In addition, a detailed plan of the foundation and roof construction is required, including the dimensions of the rafters, beams and their location.

Attention! Another important point is the laying of communications. For the gazebo, you may need electricity, water and sewerage (central or autonomous).

The last stage in the creation of the project is the estimate of construction work. Knowing the shape, dimensions, material (construction, finishing) and interior decoration, it is necessary to analyze the prices for everything you need and calculate the cost of the structure. Practitioners recommend adding another 20% to the amount received for unforeseen expenses.

Choosing the right barbecue

Barbecues can be standard or made to order. In addition, they are divided into:

  • stationary. Constructed of brick or stone or all-welded structure with a roof. Can be combined with a cutting table, a niche for firewood, with a shelf for dishes;
  • portable. Compact metal portable models.

Attention! The safest brazier is considered to be a design using new technologies. For example, a stone oven can run on gas or electricity. Moreover, only stones are heated, the heat from which is used for cooking. Moreover, the heat transfer of stones in 2 r. more than wood. When heated 4 p. Stones are changed every 3 years every week.

Usually the brazier is installed on the north side of the gazebo and is supplied with a chimney. A barbecue grill is a rather complicated device, and in the absence of construction experience, it is better to use the services of specialists. But if you decide to do everything yourself, then pay attention to the construction tips.

Barbecue construction technology

A solid furnace requires pouring the foundation and carefully following the installation steps:

  1. The erection of a stone structure begins with the two lower rows of solid brickwork.
  2. Laying out a niche for firewood. It can consist of 7 rows of bricks.
  3. Construction of a smoke collector.
  4. Connecting a pipe extending beyond the roof.

It is advisable to build from refractory bricks.

The main stages of the construction of the gazebo

Regardless of the project, any structure is built step by step. In order for the gazebo to serve for a long time and delight with wonderful evenings with family and friends, it is necessary to follow the generally accepted construction technology:

  1. Site selection, site cleaning and leveling, topsoil removal.
  2. Foundation construction. If the structure is metal or wooden, columnar is recommended. If brick or stone, then tape.
  3. Foundation binding.
  4. Construction of supporting pillars according to the project.
  5. Pole binding from above.
  6. Construction of a barbecue grill from stone or refractory clay.
  7. Installation of a chimney made of brick, tin or other suitable material.
  8. Roof construction. Practitioners are advised to start work on the installation of rafters on the ground, and then raise the structure up and continue construction. Lightweight roofing materials are suitable for the gazebo: corrugated board, boards, flexible tiles.
  9. Facade cladding. Wall and porch decoration with pre-selected facade materials.
  10. Interior decoration. Floor installation, wall or wall decoration. Facing the brazier with tiles or other materials.
  11. Connection of conducted communications.
  12. Arrangement of furniture, arrangement, decoration.

A gazebo built in accordance with the indicated steps will last for several decades. In addition, a well-designed building will become an element of landscape design and a favorite place for relaxation and parties.

Construction of a gazebo with barbecue - video

Gazebo with barbecue and barbecue - photo

Good day to all!

In this article we will talk about interesting design projects for BBQ gazebos. Some summer residents on their site just put a small gazebo for relaxation, while others, in order to make not only their vacation more comfortable, but also invite friends, install stoves with barbecue and barbecue in the gazebos.

Before you start building a gazebo with barbecue and barbecue, you decide what your gazebo will be.

First, it is a small building with a small brazier, a table and chairs.

Secondly, this is a closed gazebo for year-round use, or an open summer version with a stove.

Thirdly, this is a rather capital building, which is divided into two zones: a kitchen and a dining room.

Having decided on the choice of your option, then you need to draw up a project plan and choose the material from which your gazebo will be built.

It is best to make a barbecue gazebo out of brick. In this case, it will be more durable. If you decide to use a brick, then perhaps these tips will help you.

- to avoid soot and smoke, it is necessary to make a chimney zone;

- the brazier must be protected with a roof, if it is not installed, then we cover it with acrylic varnish;

- if the brazier is used for mass cooking, then you will need a blower, it will create a more intense burning of firewood;

- the firebox should be the width of the skewers;

- masonry should be in a refractory mixture and fireclay type clay or special compounds that can withstand high temperatures;

- the brick should be soaked for five minutes before cutting - this will simplify the task.

Projects of a gazebo with a barbecue grill and a stove (to do it yourself)

A wooden gazebo, of course, is the most cost-effective option in terms of material cost and labor intensity. In addition, if you are not a bricklayer, then a wooden gazebo is the best option for your dacha.

Another option is brick. In terms of fire safety, it is much more profitable than a wooden structure, and it will last much longer.

However, you can also use this option when the stove is located in the brick part of the gazebo, and the rest of the structure is wooden.

Another version of the gazebo, less common, is a wrought iron gazebo.

Such gazebos are mainly purchased in stores.

It is not difficult to build a brick gazebo with barbecue and barbecue, especially if you have bricklaying skills. However, if you have good familiar masons, then perhaps they will help you build the desired structure on the site.

As usual, first a foundation is made, on which a layer of waterproofing is applied, and then walls are placed. It is best to start laying bricks from the entrance opening, and then move along the perimeter.

We build the walls of the gazebo according to your project (view and height). At the same time we make the base for the barbecue and smokehouse.

When the walls are erected to the desired height, we make a truss system

We equip the countertop, places for a cauldron, barbecue. As a result, we should get the following.

Well, at the very end, we sew up the roof with the material that you have chosen for this purpose.

Below is a plan of a closed gazebo with barbecue and barbecue.

Photos of simple and beautiful gazebos for summer cottages

No matter what they say, but the gazebo arranged on the site should fit into the overall landscape, especially since you put not just four pillars with a roof, but make your building an art of design.

Let's see examples of some pretty interesting and original gazebo projects.

Quite an interesting and original project, combined from wood, stone and polycarbonate.

Forged metal gazebos look no less original and beautiful.

An interesting version of the gazebo, in which the brazier is made of stone.

A few more options are quite simple gazebos for summer cottages. All of them are made mainly of wood.

A modern gazebo project can include the whole range of amenities that allow you to take out of the residential building not only the kitchen with its smells, but also the living room. With an appropriate approach, in such a room you can receive guests all year round and at the same time feel no less comfortable than at home.

In terms of dimensions, this building can be much more spacious than a traditional gazebo, but if you have a large plot of land at your disposal, then why not give yourself such pleasure. The video in this article, like our instructions, will touch on the topic: "Arbor from foam blocks with your own hands."

We will tell you not only how to build it correctly, but also offer some good ideas for outdoor and indoor design.

In principle, a gazebo can be built from any material used today for the construction of residential buildings. Oddly enough, but many readers are interested in the seemingly most inappropriate material for this purpose - blocks of cellular concrete.

The reason for this popularity is the large format, which allows you to build masonry faster than brick (see), and, of course, the affordable price of the material. The cheapest brick costs about 4000 rubles / 1 m3, and for example, foam blocks measuring 500 * 400 * 300 mm will cost no more than 2500 rubles / m3. As you can see, the difference is significant.

Plus, a cubic meter of cellular concrete masonry weighs almost three times less than the same volume of brick, even hollow. And this means that the load on the foundation will be much less. Of course, in terms of strength, walls made of cellular concrete are still inferior to brick walls, but this is not so important for a gazebo.

Pros and cons of foam concrete

The construction of walls from foam blocks requires compliance with certain rules, and this is due to the high absorbency of this material. Some readers ask if a bathhouse and a gazebo can be built from foam blocks? As for the bath, then, frankly, this is not the best idea.

So:

  • Having saved on the structural material for the walls, you will have to spend a lot on the internal waterproofing of the premises. Since both moisture and steam are present in the bath, both impregnating and pasting insulation will have to be performed. If you really want to, use better polystyrene concrete blocks.

But for the construction of a winter gazebo, foam concrete can be considered the best choice. In terms of thermal conductivity, this material is close to wood. In the cold season in such a gazebo it will be much warmer than, say, in a brick room.

Accordingly, the sound insulation in the gazebo of foam blocks will also be better. The reason for this is the cellular structure of foam blocks - and as you can see, this is not always a disadvantage.

Zero cycle: where to start

Before proceeding with the marking of the site and earthworks, you need to decide on the size and design of the building (see). At the stage of construction of the zero cycle, it may be necessary to provide for some nuances.

These are supports for columns, embedded parts for racks, a monolithic slab for a barbecue oven, etc. But how to do this if you don’t really understand where and what will be located?

So:

  • It is clear that not everyone is able to design such a beautiful gazebo, as in the picture at the beginning of the article, on their own. But it is quite possible to take a ready-made drawing as a basis. There are many of them: here you have a bathhouse with a wooden gazebo, and a capital terrace with a canopy, and a gazebo with a barbecue made of foam blocks. The main thing is to find an option that fits perfectly into your site according to the configuration.
  • Knowing the size of the building and its appearance, it is easier to determine the quantity and cost of materials. You may want to change something - for example: the glazing option, the shape of the roof, or in a different way to finish the finish. The more thoroughly the concept of construction is thought out, the easier it is to implement.

Do not forget also that at the stage of construction of the zero cycle, work is also carried out related to the communications brought to the structure: laying the power cable; water supply and drainage pipelines; septic tank, manhole.

Choosing a base option

Since we decided to use concrete blocks for the construction of our gazebo-living room, we will need to build a capital foundation under them (see). The most suitable option for block walls is a prefabricated or monolithic foundation tape. In the first case, FBS concrete blocks are laid in a trench with a prepared bottom.

  • The advantages of this choice are that the prefabricated tape can be erected in one day and you do not have to wait a whole month to continue the work until the concrete gains strength. In terms of cost, this is also quite acceptable, but, given the need to use lifting mechanisms, additional costs cannot be avoided. And there are also difficulties associated with the fact that not every site can drive a truck crane.

  • Therefore, preference is more often given to the second option - monolithic. In this case, a formwork is installed in the trench, the bottom of which is backfilled with sand and gravel. It is covered with polyethylene, a reinforcing cage is laid on the bottom and concrete is poured. Schematically, it will look something like the picture above.
  • The gazebo is still not a house, and its designs are quite light in weight - and therefore the monolithic tape can not be deepened much. In any case, if there are no problems with the groundwater level on the site and the quality of the soil allows.
  • A support height of 30-35 cm is quite enough, and it deepens by 20 cm. Given the same thickness of the sand cushion, the depth of the trench will be 40 cm. The width of the foundation may be the same width as the wall material, or it may be 5-7 cm wider, to get a protruding base.

  • These are all general guidelines, of course. It is necessary to make a decision on choosing the type of foundation not only depending on the geological features of the soil - the design of the gazebo is also of great importance. If you want to build, for example, a gazebo with a terrace, then the foundation can be combined: under the walls of the gazebo there is a concrete tape, and under the frame of the terrace - point supports (piles, pillars).
  • Under the gazebo, the walls of which are laid out of brick or concrete blocks, quite often they equip a slab foundation. This is the most expensive option, since concrete is poured over the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe building. But, firstly: a concrete screed is also needed for the installation of a capital floor.
  • Secondly: the cost of the foundation will not be that big, since the thickness of the slab in this case does not exceed 30 cm. And thirdly, there are many situations when this type of construction is the most rational. For example, in peatlands and swampy areas, a monolithic slab foundation is the only possible option.

  • This type of support structure is also excellent for heaving, water-saturated clay and sandy soils. For example, a foundation tape in such difficult conditions can simply float up. If the soil is mobile, with a high water level and deep freezing, there should be piles under the monolithic tape or slab.

Of course, each type of foundation has its own construction technology. You can easily find the necessary instructions or videos, including on this site.

Try to arrange the supporting part of the gazebo in accordance with generally accepted standards in construction, and do not try to save where it should not be done. Only in this case, the further operation of the gazebo will not cause any problems.

Building walls from blocks

So that there is no dampness in the built gazebo, you need to pay close attention to the waterproofing of the base. If this is a tape support, under the first row of the block there must be a layer of roll material glued to the bituminous mastic.

  • Horizontal waterproofing prevents capillary absorption of moisture from the soil by wall blocks. It is good if the same layer is under the sole of the foundation.
  • To perform block masonry, a specially designed composition should be used, which, in fact, is adhesive. Usually, sellers also offer the consumer dry mixes for their installation, and it is always better to purchase them together with blocks from the same manufacturer.

  • So, laying the first row of blocks should be done on a well-insulated rigid base. Previously, a layer of adhesive solution is applied to it, but the masonry is not immediately carried out along the entire length of the wall. First, the corner elements are laid - moreover, the highest angle is determined by the level and starts from it.
  • The lighthouse block is placed on a bed from a solution 2 cm thick and must be leveled in level: both in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The field of how the corners are laid and leveled, a mooring cord is pulled between them and proceed directly to the laying of the walls.

  • Ordinary blocks are laid, starting from the already established angle, leveling their position due to the thickness of the mortar layer. If this is not given due attention, too large gaps are formed between the blocks and the solution from the seams can simply fall out. The quality of such masonry cannot be called high - even if these cracks are then well covered up.
  • Depending on the manufacturer, foam concrete blocks may have smooth ends that need to be sealed with an adhesive solution, or they can be joined together with a tongue-and-groove joint. Such an installation system makes it possible to do without vertical seams, and if a smooth end of the block is needed in the corner zone, then the protruding comb is simply cut off with a planer.

  • The same tool eliminates minor protrusions of the faces of the blocks. This is done after they are laid in a row, before applying the adhesive composition. Mix the solution in small portions, using a conventional electric drill with a mixing nozzle. The adjustment of the masonry elements to each other is carried out by lightly tapping with a rubber mallet.
  • If your gazebo has a large stained-glass window based on masonry, or just a window, the opening under it must be reinforced. To do this, two parallel cuts are made along a row of blocks, into which reinforcing bars are then placed. This is done with a tool called a wall chaser.

The resulting groove during the masonry process is filled with mortar and forms a strong connection of the blocks. The advantage of cellular concrete is its ease of processing.

The block can be sawn with an ordinary hacksaw, hammer a nail into it, screw in a self-tapping screw - you don’t even need a screwdriver or a puncher. Due to this, the labor intensity of the work is significantly reduced, which allows the owner of the site not only to independently build a gazebo on it, but also to put up a residential building.

Blockwork finishing

Unlike brickwork, walls built from foam concrete blocks are never left unfinished. The only exception is the inner surface of the walls - and then if the interior of the room is decorated in an antique or loft style.

So:

  • In principle, any finishes can be selected. The only difference is that not all types of soil compositions are suitable for porous surfaces. This is true if, for example, you want to plaster walls or tile them. When buying a primer, carefully read the manufacturer's instructions. Usually they write on the label: “For cellular concrete” - and this is exactly what you need.

  • As for the type of plaster, the choice is great: colored, pebble, marbled, with relief. The main thing is that the plaster should be thin-layer, polymer-based. If the gazebo is open and it has only one or two blank walls, it will look great facing with decorative stone. Usually, a brazier or a barbecue oven is placed in such a gazebo, as is done in the example above.
  • The gazebo, which is supposed to be used all year round, makes sense to insulate. In this case, it is better to line the walls outside with thermal panels or basement siding. You can also sheathe the walls with OSB slabs and do the half-timbered paneling - according to the same principle that the house is decorated in the photo below. Thus, the walls will not only be decorated, but also insulated.

Interior design is made based on the style of the building itself, glazing options and design. You may want to sheathe the walls with natural wood, finish with bamboo or clad with interior panels. It all depends on how much your imagination is enough and how much you are willing to spend on arranging a gazebo-living room.

A gazebo is an indispensable attribute of a personal plot. The Internet is replete with offers to buy ready-made drawings of gazebos for self-construction, or entrust the construction of a small architectural form to professionals. But often, for some reason, existing proposals do not meet the needs of land owners, either the size does not fit, the shape and design do not suit, or it is simply expensive. And in itself, the construction of a gazebo is not a complicated process and is quite feasible with your own hands.

This article is devoted to how to draw up a plan, drawing and diagrams of gazebo nodes, how to determine the size depending on the purpose of the building, how to properly place a barbecue, a place to relax, a kitchen, etc. And of course, we have selected for you ready-made schemes and drawings of gazebos.

Layout

The first thing to decide is where the building will stand. To do this, you will need a site plan on a scale convenient for you, which indicates: the main building (house), outbuildings (bathhouse, sheds), garden paths, trees.

Advice: It is better not to cut down perennials, they will still serve for shade and landscape design.

Drawings of a do-it-yourself garden gazebo, in the diagram there is a rectangular building made of timber

Do-it-yourself gazebos with drawings, a photo of a canopy made of logs of a non-standard simple shape with a corner barbecue

Carefully study the plan of the infield, taking into account the totality of circumstances, and mark on the diagram where, in your opinion, the gazebo will be most appropriate. It is better to place it in the depths of the garden, at the end of the path, between the trees. The distance from the main house is 3-5 m. If the building is planned with a barbecue, fireplace or stove, then it is desirable to move it away from the main residential building by more than 8 m.

Gazebo plan for a summer residence, an independent drawing with dimensions

When drawing up a drawing, do not forget about the foundation. For country arbors, it is optimal to arrange a columnar base. The distance between the posts is 1500-2000 mm, for each vertical support. Post section 300*300, 400*400 mm. When marking the foundation scheme on the ground, add 100 mm on each side so that the base is larger than the dimensions of the building.

Approximate layout of furniture in an 8-corner building

Functionality and dimensions - what you need to know

Pavilions, first of all, are built for comfortable outdoor recreation, which means that they must be comfortable, durable, reliable, everything must be at hand, nothing should interfere, annoy. And for this you should know some rules of ergonomics.

Typical drawing of a rectangular structure

As a rule, rectangular buildings have a two- (as in the diagram above) or a hipped roof.

Wooden gazebos, drawings of a square building with a hipped roof

Standard table width 600-800 mm, length 800 mm - for 4 people, 1200 mm - for 6 people. The convenient size of the seat of a chair or bench is 400-450 mm. Thus, the minimum width of the gazebo is 1500 (600+450+450) mm, length 1500-2000 mm.

Do-it-yourself country gazebos, drawings of a mini log construction

Note: If necessary, the dimensions of the gazebo can be reduced, in which case it is better to opt for a small, frame canopy building, see an example in the diagram below.

The product is on a metal frame, the dimensions are schematic, the length and width of the gazebo can be changed to suit your needs

For comfortable accommodation of one person, a floor area is required - 2 m 2, therefore, the optimal size of the gazebo for a company of 4-8 people is 3 * 4 m, 4 * 4 m (12-16 m 2).

If not only a place for gatherings is planned, but also a recreation area, with chairs and sun loungers, then the area of \u200b\u200bthe gazebo is calculated at the rate of 4 m 2 per 1 person.

In order to correctly draw a drawing of a gazebo with a barbecue or a fireplace, when calculating the area, it is necessary to take into account the dimensions of the furnace. The optimal depth of a brick barbecue is 750-1000 mm (3-4 brick lengths), width - 1200 mm (10 brick widths).

Drawing of a standard brazier

In addition to the brazier or barbecue, on the side of it, for convenience, a desktop 600-800 mm wide should be provided, to it, preferably, a sink - a width of 600-800 mm, and on the other side a place to store firewood, for symmetry the same distance. Based on this, the minimum length of the kitchen, including the oven, is 2400-3400 mm.

In front of the barbecue, it is necessary to provide a free space of 1000-1200 mm in order to move freely during cooking, and the heat does not interfere with those sitting at the table. Thus, when drawing up a drawing of a gazebo, in addition to a place for gatherings of 8-12 m 2, an additional area should be allocated for the barbecue: at least - 2400 * 1750 mm, with comfort - 3400 * 2200 mm.

To save space, the stove can be installed in the corner of the gazebo, or make a separate canopy on the site near the building.

Shape and design features

In addition to the fact that gazebos are open and closed, they also differ in shape: rectangular, multifaceted, round, combined, etc.

The easiest way is to make a drawing of a rectangular gazebo, but pitfalls lie in wait here: when transferring the scheme to the site, make sure that the angles are strictly 90 o, the diagonals are the same, or use the rule of the Egyptian triangle.

Marking the area for the gazebo

Measure 3.0 m on one side, 4.0 m on the other, connect the points in a straight line, check the geometry, if the connecting line is 5.0 m, then the angle is 90 °

Simple rules for building circuits

Drawings of multi-organ structures during independent design cause some difficulties. But let us remind you of just a few rules from the school course. So, for example, a hexagon with equal sides always consists of 6 equilateral (all sides are equal, and angles = 60 o) triangles. Or from two equal trapezoids.

A diagram of how to simply draw the base of a hexagonal gazebo

If you want to change the shape of the gazebo, for example, to enlarge some sides, then first a rectangle is drawn (in the diagram below with a green line), then its diagonals are drawn, the middle is found. From the point of intersection of the diagonals, perpendicular to the long sides of the rectangle, I set aside the same segments (yellow line in the diagram), then the points are connected. Or you can still draw 2 equal trapezoids with a common base, the height of the trapezoid should be equal to half the side of the gazebo.

Do-it-yourself hexagonal gazebo drawings, if you want to change the length of the sides

To draw an octagonal gazebo, its base must also be decomposed into simple shapes, as shown in the diagram below.

2 perpendicular intersecting lines are drawn, equal to the length and width of the structure, a rectangle is built, one side of which is equal to the side of the building, the other is the width

The drawing of the gazebo is 8-sided, in the diagram it is marked in yellow how to connect the sides of the polygon

To increase the number of sides in a polygon, just draw another rectangle and connect the vertices along the path, as shown in the diagram.

Garden structures in the form of a polygon are a bit more difficult to build than relatively simple rectangular buildings, but they look more original and spectacular. To make the gazebo not only functional, but also become a decoration of the garden plot, decorate it with a beautiful wooden lattice or elegant forging, plants, choose a lighting scenario.

Please note that in many drawings and diagrams there is no floor in its usual form; instead, a flat area of paving slabs is laid out or a monolithic concrete slab is poured.
